  1. Who do you guys think will round out this wave? Also, when is Hasbro going to announce? Toyfair?

I am hoping for some villains. Dark Beast, albeit an awesome figure/character, is the only X-Villain we have received in awhile.

IMO, the most likely villains are

    1) Legion: has a freakin TV show, is the antagonist in multiple X-Sagas, is prominent still in modern day comics, & ties into the AoA figure wave coming out

    2) Exodus: Major X-Villain that hasn’t been done, classic 90s villain, ties into recent X-Sagas, as well.

    3) Fabian Cortez: ties into the recent 90s X-Men figures, could start a whole Acolytes head variation wave

    4) Bastion: Huge X-Villain that still hasn’t received a figure

    Thoughts?

  2. "Phew well that it. Kinda disappointed we didn't get to see the Dark Phoenix and Cyclops set but I can imagine what they look like since Hasbro uses the same old for Cyke."

Just saw it! The new Dark Phoenix looks freakin badass. I love the old Toy Biz one and it's been displayed for years, but this one is definitely taking over. That phoenix flame effect is perfect.

Cyclops is meh. I hate that costume, always have. Plus, I have nowhere to display the Jim Lee Cyclops (which I actually like) let alone the cockrum/bryne version. I hope they make a kid cyclops from his current run with the new costume.

  3. That A-Force boxset looks freakin awesome. That Spectrum and Sif are most welcome. I'm not familiar with the story line, but I'll have to start reading. I would swear that that Lady Thor is a photoshopped version of the 3.75 inch version of Lady Thor. I custom made a 6-inch version of Lady Thor and used two 3.75 inch Lady Thor's and I'm pretty sure this is just a shopped version. Or not. whatever. Hopefully, they'll do it justice. Nicely done, Hasbro!

  4.

Tarot, I am aware that Udon came around after the 1970s...lol but thanks for the history lesson :)

To me, that Dazzler figure reminds me more of past Udon work than the 1970s depictions and being as in love with Udon as I am, I figured it was worth citing them as creative influence seeing as I personally see more Udon in that fig than vintage era incarnation.

Regardless, unless I see a shocker and movie crossbones fig on display, SDCC 2016 is gonna be Dazzler all the way for me!

I want a movie vision figure!

Figuarts is your best bet for a Movie Vision for the foreseeable future. They are making a 6 inch Movie Vision, but it will be pricey.

  5. I usually preorder the SDCC Exclusive on Ebay, but I think this time I will wait for the HTS really small window released after the con.

There are simply to many great waves this year (X-MEN!!!) to spend a lot of money on ebay for this set.

Yeah. Me, as well. I've gone to SDCC the last 3 years and still order it from eBay, because the line is so long and would take a whole day to get through. I once got lucky with the Thunderbolt set and there was still some left Sunday afternoon with no line, but I'm not waiting.

  6. I am hoping for the BAF to be Bastion final Sentinel form from Second Coming, but that is a long shot.

Sauron, Strong Guy, Messiah War Apocalypse as the BAF would all be very welcome.

I'm hoping for a modern green costume for Polaris.

I'm interested in what Wolverine version they would choose. I hope it's X-23 Wolverine (not likely) or Old Man Logan. Both unlikely, but maybe!

I agree that Shatterstar is a very odd choice. He was cool 20 years ago, and is seen very rarely in comics these days, but a new character is a new character. They have a ton of X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor, Excalibur characters that haven't been done and that are more popular than Shatterstar.

How about a modern or updated or AoA Nightcrawler, Hasbro!?

Otherwise, this wave looks awesome! More X-Men! Yes! Cannot wait.

  7.

    Got the Avengers 3-pack today!

These figures look pretty good. Joints are a little rubbery, but the paint application is great. I'm always a fan of new characters getting figures and this Hawkeye is most welcome. I didn't need a new Vision as I have the Hulkbuster version, "old" collared hasbro version, clear ToyBiz version, and the White 3-pack Infinite version, but this one is also a good all-around figure. Sam Wilson needs some wings, which I may add later, but the face sculpt and paint are great. See pics for details.

Now, to me, my X-Men Legends!

DAMMIT!! Looks like I have to get this 3-pack. Your pics sealed it.

    Glad I could help!

I would not have been as interested in it except I freakin love Matt Fraction's Hawkeye series.
