  1. I agree with the first post. The Gamora figure is totally worth it. I just received my figures and the rest were okay, but Gamora nails it. I tend to support an female characters that Hasbro does to help encourage more female MLs. I removed her hard cape and just put one of her arm holes around her neck and she looks great.
  2. This list is crazy extensive. Hasbro has re-done a couple of their more poorly scuplted/painted figures from some of their earlier waves (emma frost), so there is hope of some repeats. Probably, won't see any repeat characters that were done well or moderately well like She-Hulk, US Agent, or Winter Soldier. You've listed a bunch of figures that have been announced or were in the Dr. Strange boxset, so congrats on getting your wishes. Marvel is trying to crush X-Men right now. I went to SDCC and the X-Men were no where to be seen with anything Marvel only with Fox. So, my main wishes are for more X-Men figures. You list is great. My X-Men: Modern Rogue (duh) Modern Dazzler with classic variant New X-Men Beast or modern Beast Multiple Man Polaris Modern Havok Nate Grey Modern Magneto (Bachalo X-Men) Modern Emma Frost (Bachalo) Updated Gambit Bachalo Cannonball Modern Iceman Vulcan Lilandra I hope they do another X-Men wave in 2016, but if they won't then I hope they focus on Asgard/Thor. I got Hel, Odin, and Old Thor. I need me some Enchantress, Balder, Sif, Bor, Cul, Female Thor, Freyja, and Heimdall.
  3. I want Multiple Man! I just made a badass Magik custom, so that stinks that Hasbro is making one, but the more X-Men characters the better.
  4. Thanos wave arrived at my house in Hawaii yesterday from Amazon. I love that Amazon is getting MLs now.
  5. Has this been on marvelousnews at all? I haven't seen it, so I thought I'd post it here. This figure looks great. I love Matt Fraction's Hawkeye story and this figure reflects the character pretty well. I will be purchasing.
  6. Thanks. This is the temporary set up before they are incorporated into the main display. It was a pretty good day though. I have Thanos wave on pre-order from Amazon and they e-mailed my today saying it will be early April for shipping. Post pics when you get 'em.
  7. Crazy Marvel Legends Day. My Odin/Thor wave arrived the same day as he BBTS hobgoblin wave. I am knee deep in MLs. These two waves are great. Hasbro has done a 180 since their first wave. Every figure is good. See attached for ML Day display.
  8. I agree. I want a classic cable or a Messiah Complex version. Needs to be the same height as Stryfe.
  9. Cassandra Nova Sentinel Bastion UA Rogue White Bachalo Magneto Modern Havok Modern Polaris Dazzler Multiple Man BAF Strong Guy
  10. I am happy with my MS Ultron, but we'll see how this movie version fits in.
  11. Just got Armorize Iron Man. He's a little big, but he fits in nicely. He is awesome. See Pics for some comparisons.
  12. Just got Armorize Iron Man. Best Iron Man action figure ever. I love the Figma Iron Man, but this one takes the cake.
  13. This guy just arrived...Figma Iron Man Mark VII. Looks pretty good with the rest of the Marvel Legends.
  14. I got the Figma figure! He looks pretty awesome next to ML Cap and Thor, but I still want a more comic-esque version. Both the re:edit Iron Man and Armorize Iron Man have been pre-ordered. I'll post comparison pics when they get sent by BBTS. See my pic for Figma Iron Man in action.
  15. I have both the Face-Off Captain America and the Prototype Iron Man and they're the same height. I still wouldn't recommend you any 7'' Iron Man figures (including Armorize Iron Man). They're too big. You don't need a big Iron Man. According to Marvel's handbooks, Iron Man (including armor, of course) is only 4 inches taller than Cap. (If your Iron Man and your Captain America height the same, the small heigh difference won't be noticed if they're in fight stance) Face-Off Cap stands 16 cm tall (I mesured it). Armorize Iron Man heights 18 cm (according to their official site). As an example, Face-Off Captain America stands at the height of Marvel Select Iron Man MK VI's shoulders. If you want an Iron Man figure which is noticeably taller than Cap, but not too tall, I would still recommend you the Figma Iron Man MK VII. It's a tad bit taller than the ML Duckface Modern Iron Man. You can see a size comparison between the Figma Iron Man and other ML Iron Man here. I would say it's perfect. Cool. Thanks for link! That comparison is exactly what I wanted. I'm buying the Armorize version, just because I like it and I'll post pics.
  16. Thanks for the reply. Very helpful, but all of the Marvel Legend or movie versions you mentioned are smaller than the face-off Captain America. And the Bleeding Edge Iron Man is not the biggest ML Iron Man. The biggest is either the hasbro one I have displayed or the series one version. I think i'll buy the Armorized Iron Man. I'll post pics.
  17. Now I'm thinking the Bleeding Edge by Sentinel (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=SNT10058&mode=retail) Looks gorgeous. Pricey though. Top three at this point are 1. Figma Iron Mark VII (good review here: http://thefwoosh.com/2014/10/figma-the-avengers-iron-man-mark-v11-the-greatest-marvel-legend-never-made) 2. Sentinel Armorized Iron Man 3. Sentinel Bleeding Edge Iron Man Let me know if you guys know of any side-by-side comparisons like the above fwoosh article!
  18. I am looking for a new Iron Man to grace my display shelf. I currently have the old Toy Biz one which I love, but I want to update. I want an Iron Man that is to scale with the Marvel Legends figures (which means Iron Man should be larger than Captain America!) There are some great Iron Man figures out there, but if you guys have any opinions, I'd like to know. I'm currently leaning towards the Armorize Iron Man by Sentinel (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=SNT10067&mode=retail) or the RevolTech Mark VII (http://www.amazon.com/SCI-FI-Revoltech-Series-No-042-Japanese/dp/B00ABAN0X8/ref=pd_sim_t_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=1J6YZC1KPEZDS6EEMS3M) or the Figma Iron Man figure! I don't know! Should I stick with the old Toy Biz? It's been good to me.
  19. On figures.com, it looks like Thunderstrike is Legends scale! Can anyone confirm or refute?
  20. Did they only reveal like 3 new figs in New York?
  21. Repeat character, same version? Pass. Disappointing. Hopefully, they'll reveal new stuff tomorrow.
  22. Those look awesome. Did you score those from BBTS or some other website? Wouldn't mind having some of those. I bought it on Amazon.
