  1. Alright, I got my Wolverine line in the mail today from cmdstore.com. It is awesome. Tragically, the back packaging shows Rogue and Phoenix Cyclops which still look amazing and I cannot believe that Hasbro would scratch those figures. Hasbro has corrected their horrible mistakes in the first Emma and first Cyclops. Wolverine is just a repaint and will not be displayed as I like the Toy Biz paint and scale of their Astonishing Wolverine better. Sabretooth is good, but I prefer the classic look. Puck is great and welcome addition. Overall good job Hasbro. Now please make all of your variants!
  2. I was just looking at figures that Hasbro has promised us and reading reviews about Cyclops and Emma Frost. I am depressed. Just as I suspected, the Cyclops and Emma are awesome, well-sculpted, well-articulated figures and we won't see the awesome variants that were promised. No Phoenix Cyclops, no Rogue. Probably, no AoA Jean. Three great, needed characters. It will be a long while until we see a X-Men wave again. Curse you, Hasbro. Don't show us shiny figures that you won't be selling. Sorry, I needed to rant.
  3. I understand the wave themes. That doesn't mean I have to be happy about it or encourage it. These figures are tired. The hydra soldier and AIM soldier are the ones that I want which means they will be cancelled.
  4. Wow! Just what I always wanted! More Spider-Man! More Captain America! Astonishing! Seriously, though, the hydra and AIM soldiers are looking good, but we'll probably never get them if they are running changes. I hope they show some new X-Men related Legends or just give us good news on the other running changes. Fail.
  5. Someone going to NYCC needs to interrogate them! Find out the truth. Give me the variants! Give me Stryfe!
  6. More new legends displayed: Satana, Ghost, Scarlet Spider, and Modern Hawkeye in the Vigilante & Miscellaneous Milieu, Jim Lee's Jean Grey in the X-Men Xenosphere (a stretch, I know).
  7. The hauls have made it to the display... Everyone fits in nicely. RR in the cosmic corner, Moonstone & Wrecker in the villains villa, Luke Cage & Black Panther (with 1-minute custom Havok) in the Avengers Area.
  8. Nice previous post. I got mine from BBTS. The Jean Grey is by far my favorite. I think they are scrapping the AoA version of her, but I hope they do not. I'm looking forward to the variants of this wave and will buying all of them. Is Hasbro batting zero for "running changes"? I think they are. Can anyone refresh my memory? Hopefully, they will all come out at some point.
  9. Where did you hear this? SDCC. I was so angry that I went and gave Hasbro $97 for the Thunderbolts set.
  10. I don't know if any here voted in the marvel legends.net tournament. But of the top ten most wanted figures by collectors, hasbro has plans to make only one of them. Of the top twenty-four, they have plans to make four of them.
  11. I'd like the MLs that they have said they were going to release and then did not release, eg "running changes/variant". I'll start with those then I want the characters they have been announcing for 2 years, ie Stryfe. Then I want the figures that they have showed us at SDCC then I'll make my list.
  12. Rogue is cancelled and Phoenix Cyclops is cancelled. The two figures I was looking forward to the most. Now we are getting 5-6 B-List villains. Thanks Hasbro. At least Jubilee is getting made.
  13. That/s not a complete fail, yet! Maybe they'll actually send you a Moonstar. Let us know, again! Thanks for the update.
  14. That's a good sign. I haven't seen any in Hawaii. I want Moonstar and Blade!
  15. Where is Moonstar? Where is Blade? I wanted those two figures the most out of this repaint series. Has anyone seen any on eBay? In Asia?
  16. Three figures that have been done? Great. The White Phoenix is an acceptable addition, but Hawkeye and Panther almost exactly like the TB editions? Make figures that haven't been done! You were doing so well Hasbro! Well, not so much with this most recent wave, but overall good choices! Where is my Stryfe?!
  17. You mean something like this? I bought the Super Hero Squad Red Skull and carefully cut off the Cosmic Cube with a x-acto knife(as was stated above). It looks good. almost as good as my M'Kraan crystal. Boom.
  18. Does anyone know why Hasbro doesn't use the names of the characters on the variant packaging?
  19. BBTS finally delivered my Epic Heroes Legends. They are pretty good for a bunch of repaints.
  20. 1. Modern Polaris 2. Blue suit Dazzler 3. Magik with Phoenix variant 4. Enchantress 5. Gladiator 6. Cassandra Nova Juggernaut Colossus BAF Phoenix Five Figure pack 1. Jubilee 2. Multiple Man 3. Kid Gladiator 4. Sentinel version Bastion 5. X-Force Domino 6. Iron Patriot Strong Guy BAF I've got to add a modern Rogue or even a redone Jim Lee Rogue and modern Havok. A Sauron would also be great. Oh and of course....Stryfe! Release him! Just
  21. Let me know if you guys want any other side-by-side photos.
  22. X-FORCE set is great. Here is a brief photo review. Psylocke: XF Psylocke is taller, better face sculpt, better accessories, and better hands that grip! Paint is about equal between the two. Articulation goes to Toy Biz Psylocke. XF Psylocke cannot crouch very well due to her Hasbro ankles. I enjoy the updated uniform and the more Asian sculpt of the XF. I'll probably display both though. Archangel/Angel: Two different characters basically. Both use the stock hasbro/toy biz male body respectively. I do wish the XF Archangel had new hands with the steel claws as seen in the comics, but his wings are shiny metallic as opposed to dull grey seen previously. I didn't bring my hasbro Archangel to my new house because I knew that this one was coming out, but the XF version blows the X-Men classics version out of the water. Better, simpler wings; more menacing face paint and sculpt and more solid body(Classics version was too articulated to the point of being filmsy). I'll display both. Angel with the X-Men and Archangel with X-force/villians. Wolverine: New sculpt for Wolverine, though its one of Hasbro's go-to male body sculpt(same as Steve Rogers), still it works. He's a little taller than Wolvie should be IMO, but again it works. Paint is very well done, however there are some splashes of grey where they shouldn't be. Articulation is awesome in the shoulders and arms, but he is very limited in the hips and ankles just like XF Psylocke. His claws are individually set and metallic which is great. Best claws I've seen(House of M wolverine had similar claws). He's now my second fav Wolvie next to unmasked Astonishing X-Men. Third is brown wolvie. Now, I'm waiting for my XF Warpath to arrive and for XF Deadpool to be released and my X-Force display will be as good as it gets. (Fingers crossed for XF Wolfsbane, Deathlock, Vanisher, or Elixir!...though not likely...) Also, Hasbro if you could do Stryfe soonish that would be great and while you are at it throw in an Apocalypsed-out Archangel. Thanks.
