  1. ouch.. I just got one for $38 shipped but it was variant pack. I paid retail plus tax plus shipping.
  2. I think I paid $60 for it at the con but the SDCC color goes for well over $100 now I believe. The less popular color is in most Walmarts still. They are on clearance for $39 in most places but some have them for $20 around them. Will buy a few more if they drop to $20. Here's some comparison pics I found (big box is SDCC version) SDCC in blister pack on wall, retail version loose in front, BAF version to the right
  3. Do you still have the leg from Crossbones since you already have Ares complete? That's the last piece I'm missing
  4. Figures' values are really about 2 things. Supply and demand (counting as one) and then desirability. (I guess quality would be a 3rd make or break feature) Deadpool is so valuable because he possesses all 3. He's an awesome character, there's not too many of the figures floating around, and his sculpt and articulation is flawless. The MS version is more like a statue so there's really no comparing the two. Crossbones was a great buy if it came with accessories and even more if it came the Ares leg. (which I will gladly buy from you if it did) Warpath was an OK deal too from what I have seen out of him price wise. They both are sought after because of lack of distribution combined with the coolness of the characters. Now to the main thread topic.. lol I have never really spent too much on an individual figure as much as I have splurged on a lot of figures or a complete wave. I bought the Red Hulk wave all in one shot and it was a little pricey (not too bad since it was a couple years ago. And the new Legends I have purchased all minus the 2 'unicorns.' The most I have prolly dropped on a single fig is Sentinel last year at SDCC. Only regrets there was having to go back to the hotel to drop him off because he was so damn heavy. (and having to carry him on the plane to Florida)
  5. think they are actually trying to give some good range of motion for better poses
  6. You just brought it back by bumping it.. just stop posting in here already!!!!!
  7. Thanks for the comparison. Not enough difference for me to seek it out. Wouldn't mind getting it for cheap I guess though
  8. I think you may be on to something... :spidey_deadtopic:
  9. Just won a classic Bucky for $7 and a complete BAF Galactus for $27.56!!! Love when I get great random ebay buys. Will be paying them off Friday along with my 2 figs from Wolvie!
  10. Don't look now but that spidey actually has articulation!! I think I see ankle rockers!
  11. Yeah I love the simpler classic look. Amazing figure
  12. Ultimate has it's goods and bads. The good side is most of it is really well written. The bad part is most of the time the story isn't believable or it just isn't as cool as the source material. They actually did a great job with the original Ultimates series though. It translates well becuse most stuff in Ultimate verse is based on modern day happenings, not developed off of 60-70 years of history and backstory
  13. I'm sure there won't be a whole lot of character development on these guys. There's so many other characters (namely the heroes) to cram into one movie that I'm sure the bad guys will just end up as battlefield fodder.
  14. They are the Skrulls technically. Just in the Ultimate-verse. I'm more of a 616 guy myself but alot of the Ultimate stuff translates to screen well. (Sam Jackson Nick Fury for instance) The main reason we have no real "Skrulls" is simply the Fox/Sony deal where they own the rights to FF4 and their characters (Skrulls being in that pool)
  15. Here's some more MS Avengers figs (these were all found at C2E2 btw)
  16. Hey guys found pics of a new Marvel Select figure that shows the Avengers alien baddies in high detail! Enjoy More pics can be seen here.
  17. Wal-Mart is good still you are just joing the hunt for these kind of late. Most of us had Wave 1 successes by getting them from Target before the cases even hit the floor. Sane was true for me at Wal-Mart. Now you just have to try and catch shipments when they come in. Also check the B/S/T threads here in the "Daily Bugle Classified" section. Plenty of collectors here that have figures for trade or sale.
  18. INterested in old man logan and tiger stripe. PM me on here or the other forum I posted on
