    Non powered version I assume.

Definitely had his powers for some of the series, it was an awful series with a lot of plot induced stupidity from Bendis, but Nefaria trounced Marc in most encounters if I remember correctly, I've been trying to forget the series ever since.  When Marc won, it was through some degree of tactics and trickery.

  2. Now that everyone's said Nefaria, I can't unsee it.  I truly hope they're not pulling from that god awful Bendis run for this series.  If they are Moon Knight is doomed, that series was such a radical departure and practically tore away everything great about the character.

I'm hoping Hawke will be taking on the role of Midnight Man, he could even be playing Morpheus and with enough makeup and CGI that'd work.  I admittedly haven't seen enough of Hawke's work to know if he'd fit well as Black Spectre, but honestly if it isn't Bushman as the main antagonist then it needs to be Black Spectre, seeing as how he's every bit the arch nemesis that Bushman is, the Huston/Benson run proved that.

  3. I still have that one, not enough Ghost Rider characters in ML scale, it still holds up alright, but I'd like to see a classic made for ML and as many Ghost Rider characters as Hasbro will give us.  A new Danny Ketch as a riders figure, a more modern Johnny Blaze riders figure, Blackout, Orb, Deathwatch, Lilith, Danny (post Last Stand of the Spirits of Vengeance), Johnny (King of Hell), and maybe even a BAF Mephisto somehow would be a great start.

Not that I have any delusions about Hasbro actually giving us supernatural characters, it's a pipedream.

That's all fair. Yeah, I wanted to like that Lemire run so much more than I did. He's just not great with team books. Old Man Logan was a lot better (though I only read the first few trades, and still need to catch up; actually, didn't he get fired from that book at some point, with someone else taking over?). In any event, Colossus's characterization has been prett inconsistent ever since AvX, which is a huge bummer.

That's good to hear, I haven't read much of Lemire's stuff from Marvel in recent years that I liked, I may have to check out his time on Old Man Logan.  I don't remember why he left the title, but I do think I remember something like that.

Maybe one day they'll give Colossus a fair shake again.

You thought X-Men Gold was that bad? I definitely think it failed spectacularly at its objective of calling back to the Claremont days, and it certainly didn't blow me away, but I thought it was fine. Definitely a little too much Mesmero for my liking, and I wasn't really buying Lydia Nance, but it was all still entertaining enough.

I liked it until near the end, right around the wedding issue, it was much better than what Lemire had put out before it and I liked the core team of X-Men.  But, I felt overall that it painted Colossus in a pretty bad light throughout the run, which I could live with mostly until they pulled that bait and switch at the wedding.  And while Gambit and Rogue are certainly high on my list of favorites too, I don't want to see character development for them at the expense of Colossus.

Hey, is the Eternals wave that's been circulating for months a true leak or a bunch of customs?

    They don't look particularly extraordinary.

I'm curious because Thena, played by Angelina Jolie, is noticeably absent and I doubt they'd not make a figure for character being played by such an accomplished actor.

Probably will be an exclusive, since I believe there are pictures circulating of a figure of Salma Hayek's character and it's not in the wave.  Of course maybe they don't have the likeness rights for Angelina Jolie, we'll have to wait an see.

I sure hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we'll ever see a completed original 6" Guardians of the Galaxy team. Can't fathom why they made Vance Astro (and on an overly large buck, at that) and never made Starhawk, Martinex, Yondu, Charlie-27 or Nikki but there's no sign of either on the horizon.

They made Vance/Major Victory because a version of him was time displaced and joined the team with Star-Lord, during the Abnett and Lanning run on Guardians following Annihilation Conquest.  And based on that book, he's about that size.  I get that makes him out of scale with official material and previous appearances, but Hasbro definitely tailored that release to the 2008 version of the team.

Most of those characters did show up near the end of the run, in some time travel/alternate universe hi-jinx, so if Hasbro went deeper with the 2008 title, I personally wish they would, they might get to the original Guardians eventually.

  8. Gotta go green for Banshee.  Now that being said, if they started releasing the team in the blue and yellow training uniform, I'd like to see him released in that costume too.  As it is, I'd rather get the classic that fits in just about all X-Men displays, rather than very specific costumes that we don't have the rest of the team to go with him.

  9. I can't actually remember how many I pre-ordered, I did it through BBTS so I could score a few more, I want to say I have four pre-ordered, wouldn't mind at least six, but if that never happens I'll be good with four.

Doombots, Ultron drones, Skrull soldiers, and probably a lot more that I'm forgetting.  I'd like pretty much any type of grunt that's ever been in a comic, there's always someone that wants to army build them.  I'd probably be a bit more selective though beyond the Hand Ninjas, maybe 1-2 of each.

  10. Remake: Gamora in her red and blue Guardians costume from DnA's run.

New: Quasar in his Annihilators costume.

But seriously, I'm beyond stoked that Hasbro is doing a sort of dedicated cosmic assortment here, and I would love to see them do more cosmic assortments, preferably as general releases or fan channel exclusives, but I'll take all the cosmic characters I can get.
