  1. Civilians from Spider-Man like JJJ Robbie, Harry, Flash, Liz, and even Aunt May, sign me up for all of them. Also yes to Jean-Paul, Marlene, and especially more Moon Knight Rogues, need at least a Black Spectre and Bushman. Other than that, I'd be pretty selective about my civilian identity characters. I think Hasbro would be better off pumping out as many normal bodies in a wide array of clothes and then just making them compatible with certain heads they've given us. Maybe throwing in a few new unmasked heads for good measure. Of course all of it would probably need to be a Pulse/
  2. In general, no. But if they put out a Spider-Man I'd probably end up getting it.
  3. Very awesome, wish I could score a Green Ranger this early.
  4. What body did you use for that Peter Parker? The half untucked shirt works nicely.
  5. Mini-figs where appropriate would be great. But as an avid Lightning Collection collector as well, I'd just like to see more swappable heads, hands, accessories, and effects. I like the BAF, don't get me wrong, but if they did away with it, I'd like to see them go in the LC direction.
  6. It can be, but in general no, I don't see it being a cash grab. For the re-issues it's an inexpensive way to get the figure without paying scalper prices on the secondary market. For most of the figures you mentioned, these are upgrades or much needed re-issues. Kingpin and Rogue both come to mind as figures that are in high demand and fetch high prices. Kingpin is also a clear upgrade on the original BAF and allows people to have a Shadow King without shelling out for a second BAF. Rogue, though I don't like the new colors and face, is another one fetching premium prices on the secondary
  7. I think it was a mistake in the system, maybe my local store expected four cases and only had one. For anyone using popfindr, I think the numbers are the number of cases, because when I got there, there was one case, four total 2 packs in the store. Of course it was a crazy time, literally had people running for it, and one scalper was present for sure, wasn't real pleased with me and two other collectors getting one each for ourselves. Glad to score one.
  8. Same thing happened to me. Except they only had 4 and now they're down to 1. Makes you wonder. Guess I'll still try to get that 1, but probably not going to happen.
  9. Probably Dorkside ships first, but you have to pay upfront. BBTS doesn't usually get them in until after Pulse, so quite a bit after others, but you don't pay up front. Don't know anything about Megalopolis.
  10. They definitely complain about NECA, both when they don't sell their own stuff (like the TMNT movie line) and when they do, because they attach ridiculous shipping costs of $14 and up to the simplest to ship items.
  11. Hasbro shouldn't use it for any new characters, that much is true. But unless they go ahead and start re-releasing characters that used the Hyperion buck on a new or different mold then it still has some use. They should at least strive for consistency when releasing new costumes or variants of characters that used this buck.
  12. If they did this consistently, I'd agree. But I've been burned by my local Target before with them selling before the street date. I'm in the same boat with the day job, makes weekends the only time to check, so in a way it's a good thing it's street dated for Sunday.
  13. Because of the advances in articulation and especially with how Hasbro handles shoulder pads/armor I'd like to see what they could do with an Annihilation era Nova re-do. I love the one we got, but the shoulder armor is looking somewhat outdated next to what they've done with War Machine and Nimrod.
  14. Wracking my brain, but having only read HoX and PoX once I'm stuck on Nimrod the Lesser (really unlikely) and Karima for the sentinel connection. Can't remember if those sentinels from the timeline with Rasputin and Cardinal might work.
  15. Ultron Executioner Crimson Dynamo Morlun BAF: Kurse or Titanium Man
  16. You win some, you lose some. Local Target has the Storm and Thunderbird 2 pack but won't sell it until the 4th. But at least I picked up Black Tom, one step closer to Strong Guy. Not sure if it would be different for premium members on day two, but as a regular member, no, mine's listed as a pre-order for some time in March.
  17. Absolutely, probably just a new head and cape on the Stan Lee body and he's a done deal.
  18. Stopped into Walmart for some groceries and Mario 3D All-Stars, managed to find most of the Strong Guy wave. Picked up Warpath, Sunspot, Maverick, and Shiklah. Would have probably passed on Maverick and Shiklah, but this is the first time I've seen new Legends on a shelf here in PA in a while. Surprised Warpath and Sunspot were both there and not the Deadpools or Black Tom.
  19. Though he's an incredibly polarizing character, like all of JMS run on Amazing Spider-Man, I'd like to see Morlun. Can't help thinking that he's practically made with those Hellfire Club bodies. New lower legs, new head, and maybe alternate hands and he's done. Long overdue and certainly deserves a spot in the collection for his place in the recent Spider-Man mythos. The rest of these picks are excellent, can't add much else to them.
  20. Definitely this, though I think I'd swap Mr. Nobody for Funny Face. It'd be nice to see an upgrade for Spider-Girl. For a second wave I'd like to see: Mayhem Kaine Raptor Fury Sabreclaw Freebooter Bluestreak BAF: Dragon King
  21. Depends on the line, for ML I don't really get the itch to army build, and not enough space really to support it, Lightning Collection is a different story. I have 2 Hydra Soldiers, 2 AIM Soldiers, both from the original releases. I might have gotten more if I'd have found the two packs they did from a while back on the shelves, but I never ran into them. Probably would get 1-2 Hellfire Soldiers, whether or not I get the box set, just because they can still be random goons for the X-Men to take down.
  22. It'd be nice if Hasbro didn't drop these things at noon, maybe do it in the evening. By the time I'm at lunch I imagine the Hellfire Club will have long since sold out.
  23. Just got my Nimrod set in from Amazon, hope it holds true for others with delays.
