  1. Your other option for smaller eyes looks like it will be a head swap between the upcoming "Gamerverse" PS4 Spider-Man that's going to be a gamestop exclusive, and the Pizza Spidey.
  2. The rest of the Deadpool wave (other than Cable) is also on Walmart's site for MSRP. Snagged X-Force Deadpool.
  3. The sculpt is a bit outdated, but the articulation of the Toy Biz Spideys can't be topped by the modern Hasbro stuff, so I suppose it's all a matter of preference.
  4. For a truly "classic" Spidey I can only point at one from the Toy Biz days called by most collectors "Snap Shot" Spidey. It has a very John Romita Sr. feel to it. I sadly don't have this one in my collection, but would like to eventually add one. One thing to note though, is that last I looked it demands a pretty high price on the secondary market.
  5. Amazon has some Deadpool wave singles up for MSRP, including Domino and X-23.
  6. Scored a Mr. Fantastic, Hasbro is knocking it out of the park on these new FF figures. I finally feel like a great version of the team is within reach now that Reed's been done right. One more to go!
  7. Did the same thing and was able to use a 15% promo code. Didnt want to miss out on a cool two pack and even though I know it will be released in the future it will be the last TRU exclusive we ever own. My last memory of a TRU will be walking in at 10 am and snagging the entire Deadpool wave buy 1 get the other 40% off and snagging the Ultimate riders buy 1 get the other 40% off. Definitely an awesome two pack for TRU to go out on. That's a great haul.
  8. Went the ebay route, snagged a Scarlet Witch and Vision 2 pack before the prices get too insane. I hope it does see some sort of wider release, it really is a great set.
  9. Sorry to hear that. I received mine yesterday. Talk about coming in under the wire! Eh, win some lose some right? I'm glad you got one though, at least some of these are making their way out.
  10. Well...just when I thought I was safe, TRU cancelled my Scarlet Witch and Vision 2 pack. Bummer.
  11. I like it. About the only part of the ToyBiz series 2 version I like better is the head sculpt, but I'm sure that the second one will skew in that direction. And if not, who cares, this Thing looks great and has all the right articulation and fists, that should be enough for anyone.
  12. Yeah I do, for a single Domino and X-23. With all the legends that have hit lately, my wallet will be happy if they don't ship for a few more weeks. I don't think you missed anything, I like using Dorkside but from time to time the ship dates are a little off, compared to BBTS or EE.
  13. Vision and Scarlet Witch 2 pack is back up on TRU, not sure how long it will be there.
  14. I also got mine in yesterday. I lucked out in that I had a green and white head Mysterio (one in each case). As for the Lizard BAF, I agree about the tail (even Dwight Stal himself said he'd go a different way if he could do it all over), but as for the head, the only fault I find is the "perpetual" tongue. Shoulda been removable, or better still, Hasbro could've gone the Rhino BAF route and given us two heads (one sans tongue). The dinosaurian look bothers me not at all. Definitely better than "toothless" Lizard. That's awesome, I only got the set of 7, so I'm just glad I got the white head Mysterio, that was the one I'd rather have, might try to hunt down a green one at some point. That tongue is a major issue. As a longtime Spidey and especially Lizard fan, I don't mind the sculpt as much as I thought I would, it's reminicent of a Komodo Dragon, so it's still a lizard, just not the typical look for the character. You're right about that too, I would have been more disappointed with the "toothless" original look as well. I just feel like he's a bit too wide maybe, but that's something I can overlook. The legs though, those knees are terrible. If those had been better I probably could have given the tail and the tongue a pass, put them all together though, and you have a good figure, but not the best or even a definitive Lizard. I'll definitely display him with my other Lizard figures, but Fearsome Foes is still my go to Lizard.
  15. Got the Lizard wave in. Really great wave, Mysterio is definitely the standout, but Prowler, Spider-Man Noir and Spider Punk are all really great figures. Lizard really is pretty good in hand, but there's just those few things that really hurt the figure, the head, the tail, and the legs, same stuff everyone's mentioned.
  16. Songbird, King Cobra, and Proxima Midnight came in from Amazon, all good figures, but Songbird and Cobra really look great. With the Lizard wave supposedly arriving tomorrow, just Mr. Fantastic to go at least until the Deadpool wave drops.
  17. Walmart comes through! Scored Cap, Spidey, and Taskmaster to round out this wave, plus the exclusive Thanos. I love the new headsculpt and paint job on Thanos, it really makes the figure pop. Once the other three figures come in from Amazon I'll see how good that MCU Thanos is.
  18. Hit up the local TRU to find sadly all the Infinity War figures cleared out, except Iron Man, up close it is a really nice figure, so I grabbed that and luckily a Ghost Rider set. If anyone is looking, as of now Songbird, King Cobra, and Proxima Midnight (as well as Iron Man) are all on Amazon for MSRP. Iron Spider, Cap, and Taskmaster are above MSRP.
  19. For anyone that hasn't seen it yet. BBTS has the Riders up for preorder as a set or individually.
  20. Wow, I figured with all the leaks that there couldn't be much more they'd show us but wow! First that updated Kaine/Scarlet Spider has me super hyped. And that Sauron!!! I want to pre-order that wave immediately, he looks incredible. The MCU 10 years stuff looks great, the Thor and Sif pack is definitely a pick up, probably the Red Skull for the army building possibilities too, already pre-ordered the Crossbones set, but the rest are a pass for now. I want to know what the BAF will be for the second Avengers wave, if it's Black Dwarf that will make that wave a necessity too. And I guess I'm in on those Carange and Venom re-dos, the unmasked heads look great. My wallet will hate Hasbro this year.
  21. Hasbro can think they know what they're doing all they want. And yeah, sometimes they do. But the store shelves speak for themselves. I don't live in a huge town, but its not a small one either. Between four walmarts, two walgreens, one target, and one TRU (not including the FYE and Barnes and Noble which are also suffocating in movie figures) there are such steep discounts because every peg is filled with the leftover movie figures from GotG wave one up to the most recent Black Panther wave. You know what's not on the shelves? Not Iron Man, Namor, Black Bolt, Bullseye, Blade, Moon Knight, Tombstone, Beetle, Adam Warlock, or even Death's Head II for that matter! But so many Chris Pratt Star Lords, Charlie Cox Daredevils, and so many BP movie figures that I could army build the BAF if there were enough comic figures to go around. And don't even get me started on the Lokis... So, yeah, delusional, that's it. I'm just seeing things on those shelves...riiiiiight. Good one.
  22. I'd be great with this list. And if Toxin and Scorn made it into some wave, I'd be set regardless of what other figures join them.
  23. I know they'd never make all of them, but a Venom wave opens the door to so many things that my Spidey collection needs! And yes, I'm probably one of the only people that doesn't have symbiote fatigue. Scream Phage Riot Agony Toxin (Pat Mulligan, with interchangeable heads to show both the open and closed mouth looks) Hybrid Scorn I have no idea who to put down for the BAF, but as long as there are a few of these symbiotes in the wave, I don't care what character they pick for the BAF.
  24. Just means I'll skip this wave. We have to tell them with our money that we don't want waves like this. Personally after 2017 was so full of good waves that couldn't be skipped I could use some time off of Legends.
