With their increase on the NECA TMNT figures I had a feeling this was coming. Definitely won't be picking much up there anymore. -
Teams that will never be complete?
greenlucario replied to tarot's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Yeah, but I definitely don't see them happening outside of maybe Yondu or Starhawk, at least that Vance Astro can pull double duty. -
Scarlet Spider (Kaine Parker) -Just like the excellent comic this figure comes from, I definitely feel like everything Kaine has done lately is overshadowed by Ben Reilly, which I don't get. In the figure's case it's on the superior Sunfire body with just enough interchangeable hands to make this figure great. Would a pair of twipping hands and a head to match the Yost series have put this figure over the top? Sure, but it's a figure that's great to pose, of a character that needs more recognition, and that head sculpt is oozing with personality. Silver Samurai -This one's j

You collectors need to calm down
greenlucario replied to Hogun's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Some valid points, but people will always complain, it's in their nature. I for one am one of the few that is just fine with Hydro-Man and his always powered up arms, I wouldn't need one with regular arms anyways, certainly not to display. Same goes for Cannonball, while I understand the complaint there, I don't need a powered down one for the shelf. Lastly, I'll admit to being unimpressed with Johnny when the powered down one came out, but in hand, I like him, a lot actually, there's a lot of good there with the extra effects and hands. My gripe with him, is that he's on a different mold, -

I won't say never, but Hasbro seems to be taking their sweet time with the Abnett and Lanning Guardians of the Galaxy. They're only a couple figures off on the core roster, but haven't made any progress since Adam Warlock a few years back. But what I think will never see completion is the whole roster. I can't see even Hasbro getting Jack Flag, or Bug out, especially in their Guardians attire. Hope they do, just don't see it as too likely. -

Reed, Sue, Johnny, and She-Hulk off the list. Solid wave, and while I might be in the minority on this, I like the modern FF costumes. Not as much as the classics, but it's a nice bit of variety. Super Skrull is excellent, but how I wish we'd get an effects pack to really put this one over the top. -

Got Doctor Doom and Thing in from Pulse over the weekend. Doom is every bit the excellent figure I hoped he'd be, might even reign supreme as figure of the year for me. Joints were incredibly stiff though, caution to everyone still hunting him to be careful loosing him up. Thing is a bit of a disappointment. Figured the lack of black paint in the cracks and the yellow-orange wash would be noticeable, they are, but hoped I could get over the wash enough to use that fantastic new head sculpt on the Walgreens Thing, couldn't manage it. Hopefully he'll look really good next to the rest o -
So Deluxe figures...

I'm all in. Iron Man and War Machine come to mind as good candidates. I'd love a Cyclops with a bunch of optic blast effects. Spider-Man with all kinds of web effects etc. -

I like the armor suit, I just wish it was in better scale with other Hasbro Spider-Man figures, it's a bit short. Superior Ock is also really good, but the tentacles really bring the figure down for me, I mean it looks great vanilla posed, but more dynamic stuff seems to cause the tentacles to fall off with even the slightest movement. With Demogoblin now built, I can easily say this is my favorite figure of the wave. Really looking forward to Doom, should be in from pulse next week. -

Spider-Armor Mk III and White Rabbit from pulse today, with Vulture and Shang Chi getting in tomorrow. Really enjoying this wave, and can't wait to get Demogoblin assembled. -
Same thing happened to me on the U.S. site, but it was for the Prof. X in the Hoverchair. I've only bought their exclusives from them since it happened.

1. Morlun 2. Shathra 3. Morbius (90s comic version), since they didn't give us a movie Venom I'd assume the same will be true if we get a Morbius wave. The rest can be anything, whether they'd be Spider-Man or Morbius related, or not.

Picked up Superior Octopus and Velocity Suit at Gamestop, they're running a 20% off collectibles promo, so got them for the same price as Pulse. If my luck keeps up l'll slowly cancel my Pulse orders since they can't seem to meet demand on even the less wanted figures. -

Same. I reached out to them to at least see if they had a new estimated ship date, no reply yet. -
Is Nostalgia Blindness a Problem?
greenlucario replied to tarot's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
A valid point, but if history shows us anything, it's that Hasbro makes their way around to the first appearances or classics eventually, so I'd say even the greatest detractors of these looks had to like the overall figure enough, especially when only Herc came with a desirable BAF piece. Most people that I've talked to seem to really enjoy all three, some even despite an initial reluctance to purchase these very modern looks. And especially with Moon Knight's new Disney+ series on the horizon, I'd say that classic figure is a matter of when, not if. As for Bill or Herc, I'll concede it ma -
Case vs Set... Which do you prefer?
greenlucario replied to JediJester's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Definitely the set. I can't think of a time when the double packed figure was one I needed multiples of. -
No. It was a cool idea until you realized how unstable the toe articulation made some characters' feet. There are some, Spider-Man and Nightcrawler come to mind, that could benefit, but for the most part no to toe articulation. And a hearty no to finger articulation as well. Hasbro already has swappable hands for most characters that would benefit from this old/new articulation point. Plus no articulated hand holds a weapon or accessory as well as a molded hand. Among my old ToyBiz figures some have even started to have their hands fall apart. Both Venom and Man-Thing, two great figures
