  1. Target has been a gold mine in my area, really stepping up to fill the TRU void. In the last 3 days I scored the Killmonger/Agent Ross and Falcon/Winter Soldier sets, An extra Multiple Man, Purple Psylocke, And a huge amount of the MCU 10 year Anniversary figures including Iron Man, Red Skull, Cap/Crossbones, Hulk/Hulkbuster, Thanos/Strange/Iron Man and even scored a Hela on clearance. I'll say it again.....HASBRO PLEASE SPACE THIS STUFF OUT! I just can't help myself!
  2. Interesting, it says Red Skull & electronic tesseract, could there be a figure included? What will that look like? exciting!
  3. Not too much, just too disorganized release schedule, The sheer amount of product coming out at once, especially with TRU gone, is going to make it hard for 2 reasons. 1. Us hardcore completionists are getting bombarded and that, as others have said, hurts the wallet (yes I know it's a luxury purchase) 2. Filling the pegs with so much at once may lead to a lot of peg warming, and that may have the effect of appearing to not sell, which may just lead stores to reconsider stocking at all Make no mistake, it's great product, just let it breath a minute!
  4. This is awesome, Excited for a good tiger stripe wolvie, and finally....FINALLY....multiple man! Thanks for the chance to win!
  5. The general assumption is that the set will be in stores, appearing starting sometimes in August. I'm sorry I don't really have anything definitive confirming that though
  6. I agree with you about Ms. Marvel. They could have done something similar to what they did with my favorite Mr. Fantastic figure, the one from series one of the movie wave for Fantastic four, and included a bunch of parts to create a stretched out version, and with Kamala, there are more options than that even, like big feet, different heads, a shrinked down version ('ala Ant-man style) the girl' has such a range of bizarre powers that would make for fun accessories. I love the figure (got two one to open one to keep boxed) but just wanted a little more from her.
  7. It's a great set too, so if you haven't picked it up and have a passing interest in GoG go get 'em! That Gamora and Drax alone are worth it
  8. Looks to me like someone didn't like the jean facesculpt but loved the hairpiece, to me it looks like the hair is a seperate piece on my figure, the biggest clue is looking at the right side of her head. If I had to guess it looks like someone popped the hairpiece off, threw in a ponytail (that doesn't look like it matches head color anyway) and called it a day. Don't get fooled into calling it a variant, this is the only one you or anyone so far has seen like that.
  9. Deluxe Line for sure! The obvious MsMarvel and Mr. Fantastic have already been mentioned. Remember that movie Mr. Fantastic from the first movie wave? he came with enough peices to triple his size in stretched out form, to this day that is my go to mr fantastic figure it's just so well done. now take it further, Ghost Rider Bike, Modular Armor Iron Man, Falcon Wings. Apocalypse with a huge pile of interchangeable parts. Maybe even get weird with it and make a shape changer pack, with a Morph or mystique figure with a huge amount of part to change them into other characters. I just think there is a LOT of potential with a deluxe line.
  10. It DOES seem a little disrespectful to fans, when you look at that lineup, the only two I could see having trouble getting to mass market would be Purple Man (for his mature representation) and maybe Dreadknight for being fairly D-list (though I like him) Enchantress in particular is a slap in the face. I'm in a bit of a corner here, unless they tell us soon if enchantress will get a mass market release in the inevitable Thor Wave, I'll spend big buck on this, but something tells me they won't give us any info on that until Toyfair. ;(
  11. Wonder if that 3-pack release date is worldwide, that looks fantastic! As for the 3 waves tentatively launching in June, I doubt that will happen, but I've been prepping for it in case it did. 3 waves in a month might saturate the market, but I do hope that the X-men wave is this month!
  12. Scalpers must be hibernating here in Kansas, Legends were supr easy to pick up in their entirety at wal-mart, target and toys r us lfor the lasy year and a half. Walgreens take a bit longer here for the exclusives to show up but just have to be patient.
  13. great series, Iron man more than anyone makes sense to have a large amount of multiples of. keep up the good work!
  14. -Clear is best but agree that metallic, concrete, brick color etc, would be cool -Somewhere around 360 something give or take -maybe somewhere between 2-7 bucks -not using many except the stands that came with epic heroes series
  15. Well Gang, based off the offering's it does look like they're trying to build a Thor wave to me. I strongly suspect we're going to be getting an Enchantress regardless of the rest of the choices from the fan poll, which is why i think she isn't included. I'd be very surprised if we came out of this weekend without an Enchantress announcement
  16. I think Rukkdeez absolutely hit the nail on the head. I don't think Hasbro has got any character truly wrong. It may not be everyone's favorite rendition, but we're getting characters we love and Hasbro has been doing an amazing job. As long as we keep getting awesome figures, I'm keeping my mouth shut and riding the wave. We know that it's something that could end someday (again) so sit back and enjoy it. I originally had a problem with us getting Spider-Gwen. My reasoning was this was just too new of a character who so far is pretty unproven. then I thought back to the ROTML and Hope Summers being included. I was very happy to be getting a figure of her, as I'm one of the few who likes her. why would she be any different than Spider-Gwen? So I thought about it and realized I'm more put off by the concept of Spider-Gwen, In my opinion, she's being pushed as this incredible character and comic, before the first issue was even out. and something seems weird about that to me (and the comic series is not that good to me). But you know what? I'm going to buy that figure because her design really is pretty dynamic and maybe she'll grow on me in her series by then as well. But the point stands if you really, really don't like it, don't buy it. but we really shouldn't bite the hand that feeds us.
  17. I have them both and hanve't compared, isn't the ML6 Cable comparable in size? maybe not exactly as large, but maybe Stryfe's armor adds a bit of bulk and height. With that said, I'd never say no to another, newer Cable.
  18. that does look really good....wish we'd gotten a pizza dog with the legends version.
  19. Completely Agree. I imagine it would only be popular amongst us collectors, but that is a great idea!
  20. I agree with you, it's a hard call to make but first wave was better, though I like the Spidey in second wave much more, and I think the DD here is superior to any that came before it, as he looks more proportional, I always thought the toybiz Daredevil figures heads were too small, and the the shoulder joints just looked odd. Black Cat, Carnage, Superior Spidey, and Boomerang put wave 1 over the top. But frankly it's just great to be getting such good figures, how about that 3rd wave coming up? WOW!
  21. If it meant taking away ML focus I would be absolutely against a shift back to smaller scale, 6 inch collectors waited so long with sub par or NO product coming out. But if we're talking equal amounts coming out I agree, I wouldn't want to begrudge any collector their hobby. and you know build-a-vehicle would work much better for the 3 inch scale, 6 inch would absolutely work, they only vehicle i can think of that would work in 6 inch scale without sacrificiing integrity or scale in 6 inch would be the old bathtub fantasticar. and I doubt too many are clamoring for that
  22. I had a set of Odin wave preordered at BBTS, . but wanted to find an extra hawkeye Iron Fist and Thor so I could build both BAFs, and stumbled upon multiple cases of Odin wave on the shelf in one Target, of course I picked up everything I needed except an extra Thor since the whole day I only found one of him. Either Kansas is very weird or I beat the scalpers because throughout the day I saw a total of 5 scarlet witches, 3 Captain Marvels, two Black Cats, and 1 Widow (Of course I picked that one up as extra since it's hard to find). I've missed the hunt, as I've just ordered sets for all of the released figures after the ROTML wave 2, it was great to be able to find them on my own again. Hopefully this happens again with the other waves this year
  23. I was going to make a list, but y'know I actually love Mouser's list.....so I second that one, and add Enchantress or Sif and I'd be happy.
  24. That'll do, the old school remocable helmets and faceplates were pretty sweet, but I 'll definitely take extra heads if those are possible.
