  1. Facebook seems to be the most active place. I don't go to the place named after a boat. The only other place I went to regularly recently died. Sad times.
  2. The writing just wasn't good. The Meachum siblings were not compelling. I wish for season 2 they had moved on to an adaptation of the Brubaker/Fraction run.
  3. August 1 is the listed release date for the Negative Man 2 pack.
  4. I have two that should be arriving on Tuesday. Looking forward to them.
  5. It has been ages since I've seen Target clearance 3.75" figures. Not even Ionic Wonderman.
  6. Hasbro has aborted so many toy lines in it's quest to avoid the classic 3.75" scale that it may as well change its name to Planned Plastichood.
  7. I have yet to see one on the pegs. I had to get someone to find them in the back. I had used Brickseek to find the store, then had an associate look up the DPCI for me.
  8. Thank you for posting this while I was actually in Target! I got them to pull one from the back for me!
  9. From Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes come: The Masters of Evil
  10. Cut off the offending hands, drilled new holes, sanded the arm a bit to taper the wrists some, and painted the revised sleeve. Then plugged in the Dagger hands (after removing the bit of white paint on them).
  11. New hands for Enchantress - the "magic" hands from Dagger. New, new modified, old.
  12. After seeing Enchantress on display at SDCC, I'm worried about QC on these. Better to choose in person than risk getting a dud in the mail.
  13. Neither is "adequate." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOxpuKXhlss
  14. Quick review of the two new 2-packs hitting Targets now. This is the Spider-Man we've been waiting for! It is a full-on JL Cylops buck with ankle rockers, waist and mid-torso articulation, thigh and calf cuts, and a neck hinge. The wrists are not hinged, but the right hand is angled into a thwip motion, and there is wrist rotation. The head has large, sculpted-on eyes. I tried to capture it all in this quick pic. I'll take proper pictures over the weekend and compare with past Spidey issues. The bad news is that in a case of six, only 2 are this Spidey with Shocker. Spidey/Vulture are 4 to a box. DPCI is confirmed as 087-06-7988. $19.99 each. Vulture is solid, but typical of recent movie figures - no wrist articulation or waist swivel. But the rocker ankles with those claws are very nice. The wings are one molded piece that insert into the back via two pegs. Homecoming Spidey is appropriately undersized. There is no wrist articulation, but there is a neck hinge, rocker ankles, and a torso split. Shocker is typical of the newer 3.75 molds. He has a one piece torso and no wrist articulation or neck hinge. The lightning bolt symbol is molded on.
  15. How would that shoulder collar look on a "huge" MU figure? The Thanos head is not bad, but overall that is just a sad picture that reflects our desperation for product in the proper scale.
  16. I don't know that there has ever been a Target spotting. But they are available at Hasbrotoyshop
  17. Toddler Groot is from the TRU Groot Evolutions (ML) figure. The unmasked head is from the Hyperion 2-pack - Supreme Hyperion.
  18. Movie Dr. Strange 2-pack Henceforth known as the "Buttaface" movie Strange, here we have a finely executed movie body with a poor effort on the head. The eyes were applied too low, and the remainder of the head's paint apps are sub par. In terms of articulation, Strange has ball-joint hips, ball joint neck with a neck hinge (which is a improvement over Starlord/Yondu), dual-hinged knees, rocker ankles, and swivel-hinge elbows and shoulders. The is no wrist articulation, but there is a waist swivel (which is another improvement over Starlord/Yondu). Ugh. The cape has sculpted folds. The body looks fine sans cape, too. It's just that head... Astral Strange has the same articulation and sculpt, only translucent and with no cape. No cape!
