  1. There is no arrow. Other than that, there isn't much to say. The articulation is the same as Starlord. There is some goatee sculpt, but no paint was applied to make it stand out. I'm tempted to paint a couple of gold teeth on there. The comic head works nicely, as does the donated arrow.
  2. The new movie Starlord is the tallest of the new 2-pack figures, and he is taller than his comic counterpart. The Jurassic World Chris Pratt head works reasonable well, but the head itself is a little undersized while the hole needs some filler material to keep it in place. The new head is a little oversized for the comic body, but still looks pretty good. It looks better in person than in this picture.
  3. GoTG2 Movie 2-pack Starlord has ball-joint hips, ball joint neck (solid post, not hinged), dual-hinged knees, rocker ankles, and swivel-hinge elbows and shoulders. The is no wrist articulation or waist swivel. He also has pegs on the side of his legs that the guns clip onto, which is a very nice feature. Also note the sculpted-on gray box at the bottom of his jacket near the spot where the zipper starts - I believe that is supposed to be his Walkman. The jacket is removable. The holstering peg is visible in the rear-facing picture: The paints on the mask and guns are top-notch.
  4. Thank you for the QC heads up. Does Yondu have an arrow for his holster? I think you're the first and only person to spot these at retail so far. I'm guessing "$32.99 maple leafs" means you're Canadian right? Has anyone managed to find these in the US? I got mine last week through Hasbrotoyshop. 15% off, free shipping. I posted pics...elsewhere.
  5. Mine looks and feels like the real deal. The Hasbro stamp is molded onto the figure, as expected. I guess there is no real way of knowing, but if it is a reproduction, then it is a very good one. Mine has loose joints, but that is my only complaint. Honestly, it feels like a figure with some age on it, which only makes it seem more authentic.
  6. There was a sighting at Forbidden Planet in NYCC yesterday Just the one "c." Yes, I saw Gamora and Starlord but not Rocket and Groot. Forbidden Planet in Union Square, NYC. I think there were 3 of them, and the Spideys, Marvels, and Hyperions as well.
  7. I will point out that if you remove the Mohawk piece, you then have a rare thing - a female head that can wear hats.
  8. No hints or riddles? Come on...pretty please? Isn't that a hint? Repacks and repaints mostly, possibly new versions of less obscure characters, like Vision. Two new characters. Hopefully one is Skurge (after years of tease, is he "new"?). But existing characters? A new Captain America, being the Secret War version or the new costume. There has to be a Wolverine before too long - a modern costume, Old Man Logan, or even the X-23 version could pop up ("Wolverine" is probably the only word in the inventory system). We haven't had a Thor in a while - maybe a straight up new one on the new buck, or one of the many seen in the Secret Wars Thor Corps. Another version of Deadpool. A Wasp repaint would be awesome. A simple listing of "Hawkeye" could end up being Kate Bishop. A Luke Cage (modern) reissue would be timely, or one on the Rage buck with a yellow t-shirt. How about Mystique in a modern costume? That is just repainting the new female body. A new Magneto? The Supreme Hyperion made me think of that. And use the Quasar cape. Yeah, I could take a boring-looking list of names and run with it.
  9. I like armored Spidey, too. I'm debating whether to paint the trim around this eyes (black).
  10. Where did you get morbius and what not.And how did you modify falcap? There are a couple of Chinese sellers on eBay that have some upcoming figures loose. I'll post a quick "how to" on the wings mode, with pics, by the weekend.
  11. Some photography of 2016's offerings (the ones I have so far). Yes, FalCap is modified to have wings.
  12. Hey, I'm just saying'. Gargoyle > horse. And I'm not just saying that because I already have a custom Aragon and Valinor!
  13. Yes, that bothers me. Pretty much everything they do that seems to favor the 6" line bothers me. Which is a lot.
  14. Vitruvian HACKS and Marauder Gunrunners were started with far less capital via Kickstarter. With this weeks's Powerball kind of money, I would make a new line aimed at collectors and customizers. Maybe drag Boss Fight to bigger heights. Maybe get a couple of underused franchises and revitalize the 3.75" fandom. Perhaps literary rights - Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, H.G. Wells, public domain superheroes - to cover the basic archetypes of sci-fi and fantasy. It may be a break-even or slight money loser, But I could afford it.
  15. Thanks for your efforts in this area! Hopefully they will pop up soon. I think we can rest assured those are 2016 releases at this point.
  16. You could definitely (probably) fudge the downward-pointing wheels onto the Ertl 1962 Corvette. Worth looking into. Good find. I love my Chimichanga truck.
  17. I feel your pain. I don't know who came up with the idea for convention exclusives for video games, but they should be summarily shot. As a comic book fan, I have a completist mentality. It irks mewhen a piece of computer coding is inexplicably distributed as a rare physical item.
