  1. Oxford was my LCS for many years in the late 80's and 90's. Good times. I have a good one closer to my house now.
  2. I got Kurse, a Dark Elf, and blue-cape Thor at the Marietta TRU today. There was only one elf, but 3 of everything else. How is the Buckhead TRU? I've never been to that one.
  3. I'm saying "Wouldn't that be a good Dazzler head?"
  4. That's a good easy swap. It took some surgery and a little paint, but I used the Light-up Base Hulk head which is sized a little better:
  5. TRU has brought back their clearance coupon for the weekend. If your local TRU has the X-Men set for $35, this takes it down to $28. http://trus.imageg.net/graphics/media/trus/083013A_DS_TRU_LaborDay.pdf?csm=474332721&csc=2898502&csa=462782411&csu=2902063&camp=CME:EM083013B%2520TRU%2520Labor%2520Day
  6. Ditto. I wanted multiples for customs anyway. It's an expensive hedging of a bet, but buying cases on spec is outrageous.
  7. I get their e-mails, but did not get one today. Regardless, I've put in an order, so thanks! I also picked up some $4.99 clearance figures at Walmart - a Gladiator and two Hercules.
  8. I can't find it. BBTS? You mean the non-all star Avengers Assemble figures?
  9. Saw remnants of the revision case at a local Target. Cap, both Wolvies, and Thanos remained.
  10. You'll have to do some work. The MIB figures have completely different pegs - a very skinny one.
  11. If you add wings, then it is a full scale 1:1 Wasp! It really doesn't get better than that.
  12. Get a stepladder from the hardware department. It's worse than that. They have a single peg (down from four) and have been relegated to the section of toys that are no longer in the plan-o-gram. It sucks even more because it's the last remaining Walmart within 50 miles that actually stocked MU on a semi-regular basis. It's been discontinued everywhere else :( I'm now down to Target and TRU, so it looks like preorders from here on out. I was just making fun of your typo, but that is a shame - that was a reliable Wal-Mart. My now-local ones left pegs on the main row for MU, but they are currently empty. Same with Target. But the Black series is trickling in - just not MU or Joes yet.
  13. How did you articulate Rocket Raccoon? Did you simply put in joints on the one from the 3-pack, or did you take pics from some other small figure? I love your cosmic collection!
  14. No. The one I'm thinking of kept the mid-torso articulation. That's not bad at all, though. I think that's a Blastaar base.
  15. TRU 15% off coupon - entire purchase (regular priced items) in-store or online - good til 8/17. http://trus.imageg.net/graphics/media/trus/081113C_TRU_Hp_cpn_9521.pdf
  16. Within the past few months (but apparently during the data loss period) someone posted a custom Kingpin with a sculpted advertising Skaar as a base. Does anyone know who did that one?
