  1. Picked up Elektra from a comic shop (Oxford Comics) in Atlanta just to support small business. Their toy room was outstanding, chocked full of Marvel Legends and Marvel Select, while their MU selection was essentially just Wave 22. I was hoping to find Wave 23 A-Bomb, but oh well.

Oxford was my LCS for many years in the late 80's and 90's. Good times. I have a good one closer to my house now.

  2. Happy put up A-bomb and a imperfect paint Dagger and I went ahead and got them.

I'd rather pay 45 for them instead of another 125 for a case of figures I won't even need. I can fix Dagger's mask myself. And if by some miracle it is a 1 and 1 situation in the case I preordered? Dagger imperfect gets a paint job and becomes Moonstone while A-Bomb gets offered up for a trade.

I'm not a MOC anyway and now I know I get the both of them instead of paying "LETS GUESS THE CASE" game. If he puts up Aurora later, I'll buy it from him too. I'm tired of this mess.

Ditto. I wanted multiples for customs anyway. It's an expensive hedging of a bet, but buying cases on spec is outrageous.

  3.

My Walmart had a reset and MU got pushed to a back end cap. The end is high :(

Get a stepladder from the hardware department.

It's worse than that. They have a single peg (down from four) and have been relegated to the section of toys that are no longer in the plan-o-gram. It sucks even more because it's the last remaining Walmart within 50 miles that actually stocked MU on a semi-regular basis. It's been discontinued everywhere else :(

I'm now down to Target and TRU, so it looks like preorders from here on out.

I was just making fun of your typo, but that is a shame - that was a reliable Wal-Mart. My now-local ones left pegs on the main row for MU, but they are currently empty. Same with Target. But the Black series is trickling in - just not MU or Joes yet.
