  1. I though it was Daredevil's Gladiator. But he would need buzz saws.
  2. Did you use this one? It worked for me earlier this month. You are not alone with orders from that time period, though.
  3. The wave has come and gone from my local TRU's (I've seen only remnants). Meanwhile, I have heard nada from my pre-order from BBTS. In fact, they still have the pre-order up for people to purchase!
  4. A good starting place for 3.75 sale Surtur?
  5. That is a nice job on the Baroness hair. Really fits the character.
  6. If it's any of those, I'd say the blue Baroness 25th: Not this 25th Baroness: Or covergirl. But the sculpt lines are awfully clean to be a repaint, so I'd say a recast blue Baroness 25th.
  7. 2 questions. Which Cap has the elastic shield? And where is Invisible woman's hair from? Really great btw. I know Light-Up-Base Cap has the elastic bands. Others may as well, but that's the only one I'm sure of - and the light-up base figs are on clearance at TRU now.
  8. We think a lot alike. My WIP Wasp looks very similar to that, and I've been collecting white animals here and there for an eventual Snowbird!
  9. I want to do that Polaris. And by "do" I mean reproduce. And by "reproduce" I mean copy. I think English was made for double entendres.
  10. Vortious has placed my custom Ant-Man helmet on his store: http://vortiouscustomaccessories.ecrater.com/p/18361323/mc-bug-guy My original, since it got lost in the data purge:
  11. I have not progressed much on Arnim Zola because I was waiting on parts and then out of town. I still lack arms, but have some BAF Modok legs to use, plus the TV camera head (with remote control - from the Legends BAF). But here is the size comparison with all Blastaar parts - the MODOK legs are about the same length, but less bulky and have the appropriate banding - they are standing to the side. I will have make a new picture for the TV screen, so I figured I would use movie Arnim Zola actor Toby Jones. I colorized the Blastaar parts orange with Photoshop for this proof of concept. I'd like to reduce the TV screen size some, and get the neck to be more visible, but this is a rough idea of where I'm going.
  12. Seeking opinions on a MU regular female body with the X-23 mold. I think Jubilee looks just right with the shorter leg(s). How does the BW (future Black Cat) body look with the longer leg? (Just one leg swapped for comparison purposes.)
  13. $65 plus postage for the lot. Honestly, I could sell the surplus and pay for the Watcher. I got lucky.
  14. Finally got a Legends Uatu the Watcher off eBay this week, packed in a lot with a BAF Galactus, a MU Fantastic 4 set, and some FF Legends stuff, and even the Marvel Legends monsters set. Also got some fodder from China and several custom heads from StarWarsGeek. At retail I got the X-Men six-pack , four light up base figures, and a GotG set - all on clearance. All in all, a very satisfying week.
  15. He occasionally posts on his facebook group. Yes, Onyx posts on FB. I just updated my mailing address with him from an order from the same timeframe. He can take a while when he is backlogged. I am doing Arnim. I've ordered some parts and have been out of town this week. I still need to do something about arms. Feel free to borrow the ideas. Right now I'm looking at Blastaar torso, Legends BAF MODOK arms and legs, and the Legends Zola TV frame with a custom picture. I'll try to post progress when I get home this weekend.
  16. That's what I did this week, too. X-Men pack and finished off the full circle of light up bases. Lots of good fodder.
  17. I've still been seeing them at TRU and Target. In fact, I broke down and bought my first one last week - Dark Knight Returns Batman.
  18. It looks like what it says under "accessories" - a rubber band outline for the edge with thicker ones for the straps. The black is either just paint or a thin layer of green stuff. Pretty smart with the rubber bands, but they do tend to degrade over time. I wonder how they last?
  19. I bit on Karnak (for custom use - Leader, here I come!) and Angel (want a spare body to make the red suit version). As far as Mockingbird goes, I'll end up ordering one separate when the price goes down. I'm getting the box set, but I want a spare to do sleeves or the short-shorts version. Meanwhile, whoever guessed "repaint of Firestar" wins the prize!
  20. Back in the day. the original premise for "Black Goliath" was that he could grow to 15 feet, no more ("Fifteen Feet of Fighting Fury!"). Six inches on the MU scale would approximate that (9.3 inches is the number really needed). I'm thinking about a Legends Thunderball, or maybe just the Thunderball head on a Legends Falcon.
  21. Crystal Skull Indy has a removable fedora. I have one. Not sure about any others.
  22. Have you had any luck at the semi-covered flea market that is on highway 441 north of Phenix City? Or have you tried there?
