  1. No, although I think that two pack is back on shelves too. The revision case with the old Thanos is hitting and Juggernaut was in a revision case that included the Beast wave and the Witch wave. Plus he is in that same revision case with Thanos. It's a good sign for you though, means more of the cases are hitting near you.

Yeah, the Target here in Huntsville, AL just got in this revision case:

So any of you local guys that are still looking for Iron Patriot, Iron Spider, Black suit Spiderman, Scarlet Spider, or Silver Surfer have at it. =)

  2. I just returned from our lone TRU where I saw a single pack of the silver surfer, black costume spider man; 3 FF Spiderman's (not baghead); iron patriot; iron spiderman; scarlet spiderman. I missed out on the Prof X and Jubilee didn't I? I am so frustrated. We see nothing, our Walmarts are empty and then news hits that TRU is receiving these and then boom, they hit while I am working and I go out of my way to check just to see the remnants of scalpers or other collectors. Even with two to a pack, there just doesn't seem to be enough of the new figures to meet demand. The retailers and Hasbro really need to figure out how to make these figures more readily available. They are losing fans such as myself who are feeling that the hassle is just not worth our valuable time any longer. Hasbro is creating the secondary market price mark ups with their limited packing of new figures and repacks of random figs, coupled with the retailers not ordering or ordering one box of product, this creates a scenario where it is near impossible to find the product that you seek. UGHHHHHH.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like the revision case that included Beast, New Sculpt Hulk, Kraven, and Beta Ray Bill. It didn't have any of the Professor X wave included. I think it's a safe bet that you haven't missed out yet.

Personally, I have only seen the Professor X wave show up once, and that was at Walmart. Have there been sighting at other retailers?

  3. didn't see any new MU, but I did see (and buy of course) my first ever Jungle BAT figure. I couldn't believe it. Especially to get it at the $10 retail price, since most people online want your firstborn child in exchange.

And I wasn't even there to shop. I had to get some pics printed for my frame at school.

Which store did you find the Jungle BAT? I have one, but I have always hoped to find a 2nd one.

  4. The Target in Huntsville, AL on University Dr had two full cases of Wave 18 yesterday. I bought one Beta Ray Bill, and left the rest.

I'm in Birmingham and I can't find shiit. Good pulls for AL man. Any chance you can swing back and grab a Beta and aKraven? I'll get you whatever it cost and shipping. Would apprech the thought. Let me know.

I can but Dragonkings is right, it might be cheaper if you go through HTS with the coupon code ($23 after shipping). The figures are $9.99 here, and it'll probably cost another $5ish to ship them. However, I can/will help if you want me to. PM me if you do.

  5. Finally Landed a avenger light up base black panther today. Is there a secondary market or collectors demand for the stands? I absolutely could give a crap about it and would trade it off if someone wants it.

I gave mine to my 7 year old, and he in turn played with it for a day before ignoring it completely. As for a collectors market? I'm sure there's a niche market, but might be hard to find someone interested in just the base.

  6. If they put out an orange Foom I would buy it and pretend it was Smaug from The Hobbit. 8p But then again, going off what that company is already doing for that line, I am thinking we will see Smaug in toy form at some point through The Hobbit trilogy.

As for Foom, I want him green - and I hope that is the way he is when/if he makes it to retail shelves.

I am currently using a Discovery Channel foam dragon as my FFF atm, but will definitely buy the green one if they release him at retail.

  7. Seriously, guys? I'm reminded of why I stopped posting here in the first place. Any time you offer a dissenting opinion about something you're branded an outsider who just doesn't get it. What a lovely "community". I'm out, have fun with your echo chamber.

You were branded as an outsider? Only two people contradicted you. Plus, you asked where all the love from Foom was coming from, and you were given some examples on why people have emotional attachments to him.

  8. I hope Hasbro's not dumb enough to pull a Sentinel and release the Orange at retail and make Green the variant.

I wouldn't put it past them. Didn't they even go as far as arguing that the retail Sentinel color scheme was accurate to modern comics despite the fact that it isn't?

Also, what's with the love for Foom? He's a pretty obscure dude for such a huge effort. I mean, I've never read any comics with him so he just looks like a big doofy dragon in purple shorts to me. If Hasbro is really going to put out the effort to do a super obscure Masterworks like this then why not do something that actually looks neat, like Eternity or something.

Also also, let's be real here. Even if he does get released and the five of you who are stoked for him get one he's still going to peg warm (shelf warm?). Hard. If Galactus and Sentinels are peg warming then they're going to have to start charging these things rent.

Like was mentioned previously, FFF is an iconic Ironman villian, and was in the first season of Ironman Armored Adventures. Not to mention with The Mandarin being in Iron Man 3, it's hard to believe that FFF won't make an appearance or won't be referenced. However, even if he doesn't show up in the movie I'm confident that kids will want a big ass talking dragon, I know my 7 year old will.

Also, Galactus never shelf warmed here.

  9. It doesn't seem to be advertised but Target is having a sale on MU. Just to clear the pegs I bought 3 Psylockes, 3 Gladiators, and 2 Storms for $7.99 each. This is confirmed for Cali and S. Florida at least.

I'll most likely dump these off at another store but if anyone needs custom fodder let me know.

Confirmed for Northern Alabama as well. I picked up a Regular Archangel.

An Archangel peg-warming? How is that even possible?

He's one of just two or three MU I have NEVER seen on the pegs.

This particular Target got the Revision case with Havok and Archangel about a month ago, and held onto both the figures until the $7.99 sale price started.

  11. Could someone post the Target DCPI number for the Wave 18/19 figures? I was thinking that if Wave 18/19 had a separate DCPI that might be why my Target hasn't stocked the new stuff yet. I know when I bought She-Hulk at TRU her UPC wouldn't scan at the register, and they had to get the SKU from the shelf tag (which always makes me nervous about restocks). I have a receipt with a DCPI for the old figures to check it with. Thanks in advance.

But, He's been making friends with the toy manager while he goes on Hot Wheel hunts (he's one of them). the toy manager said she'd order a case of 19 for him. Scoooore. She said to check by the end of the week. Sweeeet.

    Is she hot?

That's the real question, since obviously his brother is if she's willing to order him his own case. =D
