  1. That's amazing that you can still get to those stores with the North Koreans having taken control of Spokane...
  2. I think you found the diamonds in the rough! Love me some Bumble!!!
  3. This was an interesting siting at Target... photo by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr Both Punishers? What kind of a case is that???
  4. Head is new, some tooling on the torso to add the button. Oh and the NEW REMOVABLE PURPLE PANTS THEY ADDED. I hope Hasbro's not dumb enough to pull a Sentinel and release the Orange at retail and make Green the variant. Wow! Wow! Is this from NYCC???
  5. Apparently a great day for all of us from BBTS!!!! This was waiting for me at the door at 9 pm returning from work. frametastic by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr So happy with my first case purchase. I wavered for a couple of days, but decided $11 per figure is pretty sweet. Plus I needed the Juggernaut and Colossus. Great combo of Wave 18/19. Sadly only got the regular spidey and FF. No baghead. The wait did feel like forever. My heart was pounding when I opened the case!! Such a high. Hahahahaha.
  6. All of you are so talented. I am so impressed with everyone on this forum.
  7. HUGE appreciation to Kilo23 for an incredible trade. Brutal day was totally redeemed with my kids running out the front door with this package filled with MU greatness!!!!! wrapped to perfection: photo-22 by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr This is an incredible Marvelous News boarder and I am so excited for future trades. photo-21 by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr Can't believe we have an Archangel in the house. Cable is spectacular. Namor is perfect. The Silver Surfer got a huge yelp from the kiddos. The surf board is so cool in the hand. Thanks Kai
  8. So excited about that for you. And so bummed mine had just a solid assortment of Namors and Gladiators! And yes, my HEB is $7.18 so you were right on the money! Love that Scarlet Witch.
  9. The day started at work at 6 AM like this: photo-14 by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr With my favorite coffee mug of the last few years slipping out of my hand... Brutal. and ended like this at 10 PM getting back from work: photo-15 by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr Amazon.com (final Strokes album i needed, Hello Bugs for my newborn, Seasons 1&2 of The Walking Dead, U2 Rockabye Baby cd, Lego Old Testament!-classic) My wife snagging the Daily Show's Indecision 2012 mug at Urban Outfitters to replace my broken one. Walmart/Target: Sith 3-pack and the Nick Fury's! Ahhhhhh...life.
  10. Couldn't agree more. Literally that is the the dialogue I had in my head before I pulled the $125 trigger. The Spiderman and Hulk will be presents for my nephews, and all the others I want. I figure the Kraven will win me over after everyone here raving. Otherwise it will be traded. And yes. The clincher was the Jugg. Want that.
  11. truth. that's why i finally bought from BBTS the whole set of 18/19 and Juggy/Colossus case. I love driving and finding, it's a high. But unfortunately, I have to be somewhere around 8-10% success rate and that can be frustrating.
  12. Stopped at TRU and seemingly struck out. Saw 10 of the MU 5-Pack X-men, and a weird butt crotch Ghost Rider??? Does anyone need the Comic Series Hawkeye? photo-3 by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr The Real score that I came for was making my daughter and niece super happy with 2 Zecoras! photo-4 by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr Been trying to locate these for awhile. None on the floor. 3 on the computer. Did some digging up top and using my iPhone to scan the top... and boom! Found 'em. Nothing at 2 Walmarts, 2 Targets or the TRU for Wave 18/19 or Nick Fury, though. :(
  13. Love seeing Turtles coming back into our world. Can't wait to get my kiddos hooked on them!
  14. CONGRATS! on the new baby coming! Is the Invisible Woman part of the regular 3 pack with Herbie? Thanks.
  15. There is a Costco at Richmond and Weslayan in town And now that i think of it there is also one on I-10 at Bunker Hill - also in town huh...i feel like i've never seen it all the times i've been the i10 bunker hill area... then again i dont have a costco card soooo.... sooo did you find anything good mrparsons...? how many sentinels did you find? Only time if found Sentinels was the time at Marshalls, a week before my boy's Bday back in late July. CLUTCH! Haven't seen one since. Negatory Ross, TJ Maxx, or Marshalls. GERRILLIUS and skrab0415 Thanks for the head's up on the Costco's though. It's about 45-60 mins from my home. Are you guys all in town? I'm in the League City area.
  16. Costco Quinjet looks amazing. Paint scheme is way better. Course my boy was cool with the $21 price tag at WM. Plus Costco is over an hour away north of Houston. I miss the Washington State days with Costcos on every corner (next to the 4 Starbucks) and I miss that thing called 4 seasons too. Snow... Cold weather... Breathable air... But I can't complain about 4 Targets, 5 Walmarts, 2 ToysRUs', 2 Marshalls, 2 TJ Maxx's, 3 Ross' within 10 mins of driving. Not bad for wasting gas and finding Gladiators and Absorbing Men...
  17. jesusfollower, I love the Angel avatar. Your posts actually inspired me to finally get everything rolling and do the first post. I missed grabbing an Archangel in the wild a few months ago, because we only did Star Wars and sadly... I hadn't been up enough on Marvel/X-Men to know how completely amazing he was. I have since corrected that oversight!!! I'm definitely making up for lost ground. And yes, these are great years for them. I'm in the hospital now with the birth of my 3rd, thus the extra time to finally make good on some posts! I love that my kiddos play x-men constantly and superheroes. It's great. P.S. We named her November, but call her Nova for short. My son is over the moon because he wanted to name her after one of Galactus' heralds, Nova! Hahaha. My daughter quickly got over the fact that the name was not Jean Grey or Rogue!
  18. Incredible figure. Very playable and sturdy (7 lbs!!) The box looks great too, so it of course is on display on his shelf still.
  19. Long time appreciation of brilliant posts and great discussion, First time poster. I have enjoyed all of the updates and finds from the many passionate superhero fans here. This is my son's sweet haul for his 7th birthday: 530256_696484288190_1192530045_n by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr The defining toy was of course the classic color Sentinel. I finally found at Marshalls. It was probably 25+ fruitless trips before my heart leapt. He got mostly villains as he has most of the heroes, and he actually prefers villains (Storm Shadow and Boba Fett fan). Plus we just discovered the 90s X-Men cartoon on Netflix, and we've been making up for lost time... 396935_696483225320_1799363597_n by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr One of the best parts of the X-Men and the Marvel Universe in general is the balance of strong female characters, thus my little girl is right in the midst of the fun! 580850_696483869030_1839789212_n by TheMisterParsons, on Flickr Thanks again everyone for an amazing Marvel community!
