  1. I'm hoping the 2 unique figures will see a regular release as I just cant justify what I would have to pay to get this set. The packaging does look real nice though.
  2. I always liked my Black Widow to have dual pistol holsters. It was unfortunate that her Winter Soldier and Ultron versions had the sculpted holsters. All I did was cut holes at the bottom to allow pistols to go through. I cut them in a way so that you can still put the tasers in the holsters. Here's a picture showing the bottom of the holsters (pistol on right leg holster and taser on left leg holster) I also gave Jessica Jones a scarf and hands that can hold a gun. My Jessica Jone's closed fists had a cut in it so I decided to just use spare Winter Soldier Black Widow grip hands. The size is actually perfect.
  3. Just annoyed that they gave his this unmasked headsculpt here. I have the single pack one but I hate that smirk. However, not willing to get this set just to have an unmasked head. I know Jay says it doesn't fit, but a little modification and that wouldn't be a problem for me.
  4. Love how you can make different Hydra soldiers with this. Would love to get 3 or at least two to use the two exposed mouth headsculpts and then get the SDCC Red Skull.
  5. I only collect MCU but I can't justify this set. Iron Fist should have an alternate hand. I really only want Collee Wing and hoping she and Iron Fist will come out in the regular line eventually.
  6. Would have got this if it had Stan Lee parts. Maybe even if Falcon had articulated wings and some pistols, I'd be tempted. As it stands now, I have no need for this set as I have the Walmart Falcon and a Bucky custom I'm happy with.
  7. Very nice. I only wish his open hands were articulated like the Age of Ultron one that I have (I think it's AOU. It's the one that was repainted for that SpiderMan two pack). All the latest Iron Man releases have the fixed open hand so it doesn't have the extra articulation. Also, do any of the Tony Stark heads fit on this figure? Just curious.
  8. In Canada, it will be a EB Games exclusive along with Ronan. Ronan is available for pre-order, but the Hulk and Hulkbuster isn't for some reason, but both sets are shown on the advertisement. Image is from the EBGames website.
  9. I have that one, but the most infuriating thing about that figure is I don't get why Hasbro had to only give him gloves on his left hand. Otherwise, I would do what you are suggesting.
  10. I wish they took the time to make some changes so Captain America's shield can go on his back. I also wish he had a pair of gripping hands. I always hated how all the movie Caps except the WWII version couldn't hold anything. Crossbones is nice but the non functional holster is disappointing. Just minor bit picks though. I do love both of Cap's new heads though. It seems like on yours the mask isn't fitting right as there is a gap between the bottom of the mask and the hair on the right side. Hope they aren't all like that.
  11. Wow! Looks amazing. I'll probably just stick with the regular release version though, but it does look really nice.
  12. These look good. Wish Hasbro gave us those folded hood/helmets that we could attach to the Marvel Legends version like these Hot Toys ones. Kinda like the Wolverine they did with the folded mask.
  13. I don't know why but these anniversary figures are more expensive than our already expensive Marvel Legends figures here in Canada. They look really good though but cause of price, I'll have to pick and choose which to get.
  14. I really hate how Hasbro dropped the ball on the movie Ant-Man figure. They left out the hoses made his mouth exposed. Guess they didn't have the final design yet when they made the figure. Anyways, did some mods. Not 100% movie accurate, but a lot better than what they released (at least I think so). I don't think Hasbro will be re-doing him any time soon so I just finally decided to modify mine. I actually got this figure for $5 and he was missing all his accessories.
  15. I was just wondering, does anyone know of any alternate left hands you can give Maria Hill that wouldn't require painting? I hate how they have it in a closed fist. I modified a Black Widow holstered pistol for her to hold, but it would be nice if she can be posed with her left hand supporting as well.
  16. I really like the Black Widow figure, but it's unfortunate that she has no working holsters, or pistols. Seems like they really cheaped out in the Captain America Winter Soldier line. As I don't have a lot of 6" fodder, it's hard to find stuff to customize, so I just scrounge up what I could. The holsters were removed from a Maria Hill figure and put onto Black Widow. Then I cut off the actual pistols from them and cut up the harness from Baron Zemo and modified them and glued them onto the holster belt. The Glocks are from Nick Fury. Not screen accurate but works well enough for me as I just wanted working holsters and for her to have Glocks. The Maria Hill in the background is using the Glock that was molded into Black Widow's holster. I just cut parts off and modded it to look like a modified/personalized Glock. Coulson in the background just uses Nick Fury's chest holster and Glock.
  17. I missed the TRU 3-pack Nick Fury from the Iron Man line and really regret that cause it was a nice figure with great articulation. I did manage to get the Avengers one sometime later but was disappointed he didn't have swivel wrists (thus making it impossible to hold his weapon two handed). Also wished the chest holster was functional. It looks big enough to have been, but I guess it was not functional due to cost. I modified mine so he has articulated wrists. Only downside is his hands are gloved now instead of bare. I also made the chest holster functional. He looks quite good without his jacket too. http://i1315.photobucket.com/albums/t587/cwc_woo/Joe/20150325_204356_resized_zpso2yx8g3r.jpg Just for fun, I put the pistol that goes on his leg holster in there, but it's obviously too big for the holster. http://i1315.photobucket.com/albums/t587/cwc_woo/Joe/20150325_203201_resized_zpssfg0yxjn.jpg Together with an unmodified Fury from a later series http://i1315.photobucket.com/albums/t587/cwc_woo/Joe/20150325_203411_resized_zpss8shonvg.jpg
  18. I'm hoping to get Thor and Hawkeye only from that set. Don't really care to get Bruce Banner or another Black Widow.
  19. I just picked up my first ML figure last week. London Drugs is selling the Captain America Infinte Series Winter Soldier figures for $12.99. Never planned to ever get any, but at $12.99, I couldn't resist. Bought Black Widow first and the next day, ended up getting the rest of the wave. Had to track down the Mandroid arms off Ebay though and now have a complete Mandroid as well. I managed to price match Toys R Us and got the WWII Captain America too. Now just waiting to get the new Toys R Us 3-pack with Coulson. I wish the Stealth Suit Captain America had a pair of gripping hands though so I can give him a gun to hold.
  20. I'm hoping to be able to get this set as I just got into Marvel Legends (found the Captain America Infinites wave for $12.99 and got the whole wave and now have a Mandroid too). So this would be aweseome as I can get Fury and Hill as well as Coulson. Hope it either comes to Canada or my friend in the US is able to find one for me.
