    Never said they were GOOD ideas, just that they can do it. The old argument still stands, no one ever said BAFs have to be BIG. Honestly, though, I'd be more concerned they'd include the wings and sell the bloody figure as a "Deluxe" just so they can claim the 5-10 dollar gouge.

    Picked up my first Marvel Legends of the New Year. Finally broke down and snagged Peter B. and Miles (looks like these guys are gonna be the peg-warmers), and they even had a Hand Ninja out so I grabbed him to.

    I may be biased, these slow-burner short form sci-fi mystery type shows are like crack to me. Plus as an old-school couch potato I take special pleasure in all those TV tropes and easter-eggs.

    Good Lord! I just watched the first two episodes . . . and they were great! I was starting to think I'd never be able to say that about an MCU project again, but here we are!

    That's the ticket. Throw in the sword, Pumpkin Bombs, Razor-Bats, and of course the board. Obviously, for the three heads we need Masked, Unmasked, and Unmasked Scarred Face.

    I'm not sure I care who she plays, I approve the casting.

    I don't know, the way they were portrayed in Civil War DID kinda give off that miss-matched "Buddy Cop" vibe. That's the best part about these Disney + series. Unlike the "friendship" of Steve and Tony, we'll actually get a chance to witness some of these relationships. Also, does it really constitute a spoiler if everybody and their brother knows it?

    OUCH! The Walmart Exclusive was enough for me. I'm not even that crazy about Thanos.

    Hey, all I found was a couple of Peter Bs. As for the Hand, if I find them, I'll probably snag one to use as a stand-alone character, otherwise, the Hand's place in my head-cannon is filled nicely by the Target Foot Soldiers.

    So is it sadder that they're actually rehashing the Clone Saga, or that the news release made the first version sound like a good thing?

    This may be the ONLY movie in their stable that Disney CAN'T mess up.

    I have a similar theory. Basically, I think they have a The Prisoner/Matrix/Truman Show type thing going. My impression is Wanda is a prisoner of who/whatever the Big-Bad for the show is supposed to be. While a prisoner, she's given an entire world to run-around in, complete with a fake Vision, while Big-Bad tries to harness/figure out her powers (find out about mutants?). Basically, Wanda's in a big rat's maze. As time goes on, she begins to "outgrow" her cage, and with help from fake Vision (given some semblance of his former "life" through Wanda's influence), and SHIELD, who lend a hand on the outside, manages to free herself.

    IF it happens, there's really no reason why it wouldn't apply to the Eternals wave. It's not like anything new is being done to them to make figures more expensive, it's an across the board hike brought about by the current financial climate and an increase in the minimum wage. It's a pretty good possibility we'll see a similar hike in everything from almonds to Zagnut bars. Whether the figures were supposed to come out this year, next year, or last year is immaterial. It sucks, but it happens.

    A price increase doesn't mean that much when you can't find their stuff on the pegs to begin with, even less when you consider most of the figures you REALLY want them to make always seem to end-up as "Deluxe" figures anyway.
