I would say it's very safe to say that. Only place they have shown up is is Asia. Although I've seen one or 2 people claim they've seen them in stores. But I have no evidence to believe that.

I don't think I can explain the running change/variant situation any better but if you find another Bucky Cap with a clear shield I'd be interested in it.

 

The variant BAF piece comes with Madame Hydra (Red Skull face). The regular ZOla face comes with Madame Masque

Also, a variant head piece comes with Piledriver with the red eye.

holy crap how did I not know that. I thought only the torso had a variant. Didn't realize Thunderball's Zola head came with a yellow eye

Only way they'll have them in the ads if if they go on sale and I don't see that happening anytime soon :/ At least Target has had some of the 3 3/4" stuff advertised before. Some people even used the ad from that time over and over to get the figures at sale price (you know who you are )

so from Wave 12 then so far Spider-Woman and 2099 have not been changed...yet

 

also on WW Hulk they didn't change the art. Just the shield logo. Wierd.

it kind of is. but there was a crazy one that sold for $600. I still think it was a fluke/hoax. We'll see the regulars soon enough and then the variants will be nowhere to be found. I know you needed the right arm and both legs but you need the arm from wolvie too? I can get the legs for sure and the arm from Fantomex when I get my extra but not sure about the Left arm

I believe they're exactly the same. The art is different though, it's altered beyond flipping and zooming. The head is more straight on the new one than the old one was.

I think they actually are the same art work. Beyond the flip and crop they also rotated it.

Ever since they were first announced it was established that Madame Hydra/Masque and Piledriver/Thunderball would be running changes. They are both pictured on each card. Unmasked Daken is the variant for Dark Wolverine (masked) and FF Spidey for Big Time Spidey. Only the regulars for those are on the cards.

There are 4 case packs. The variant case has FF Spidey and Unmasked Daken. Not many people have found the cases with those 2 "regulars". Either of those cases will contain the running changes of Thunderball/Madame Masque or Madame Hydra/Piledriver

I found Madam Hydra, unmasked Daken, and Thunderball. I still need to find the others. I am not sure whether to keep hunting or cancel my BBTS case.

Did you find Madame Hydra and Thuunderball at the same store? Those 2 shipped in different cases.

Seriously though this happened to me with Target a while back with either MU or Joes. One Target that is in a little bit nicer area had the figures for $1 more than the other Targets (there are about 2 or 3 more around me and they're really not in bad areas either). I tried to get them to price match but they said they couldn't and the reason for the price hike WAS the location. Anyway easiest thing to do was to buy them, take them to another Target, return them and buy them again.
