  1. The newer molds have ball-joint shoulders and hinged thighs. It's funny, the villains tend to have newer molds and therefore much better articulation than the heroes. So Sandman's articulation is not universal across the rest of the line? Thank you for letting me know. I think I'll skip Ultron as it seems he only has 5 poa. Do the Ant-Man figures have ball shoulders and hips?
  2. I bought the Titan Heroes Sandman last night just to see how he'd look with 3.75" figures. I had no idea the Titan Heroes have more than 5 poa. He needs elbows and knees, but he's not half bad and it was an easy impulse buy at $7. I don't expect them to get too deep into character selection, but I wouldn't mind Dormammu in this line. This would also be a cost efficient way to army build Sentinels too.
  3. I can't remember if there's actually an army of them in the Age Of Ultron story, but the cover art for some of the issues does show a bunch of gold Ultrons ganging up on various heroes.
  4. It's definitely a bummer and it prevents me from army building Goldtron, but at least we're finally getting Jessica Jones and a decent Magneto. But this is likely my fault. I was just mentioning to a friend that I really wished this wave would make it out and that I'd be willing to pay a few bucks extra. The universe is making an honest man out of me. Sorry guys.
  5. Was just coming here to post this. Weird that they went up on a Saturday. Maybe it's because they were dated for 7/1? I'm very happy to see that this wasn't cancelled.
  6. It would be nice if they did a classic Death's Head in the 6" line so we could have one that's more accurately scaled to MU
  7. Not Marvel, but I thought I'd share. With the new wave of 3.75" SW Black Series figures on the horizon, I've been checking BrickSeek pretty religiously in the hopes that they'll restock something besides the Phasma wave. Most of the Walmarts have been consistent at 20-40ish figures but one store just jumped up to 270. No, not a typo. 270 figures. I hauled ass over there hoping to score some Tuskens or Sandtroopers (or ERGs if I was really lucky). They had maybe 30 on the shelves, all from the Phasma wave. I asked someone to manually check and they said they do in fact have 270 on hand, but they won't pull more until the shelves empty first. He wouldn't pull any cases to let me look, nor would he tell me wave number was written on the side of the cases. I'm going to keep checking back in the hopes that I can find a different employee. On an entirely unrelated note, does anyone know what would happen to a customer that just happened to hop in the back room and look through pallets? Assuming of course that said customer paid for the figures? Purely hypothetically of course
  8. Sorry for the double post, but does anyone here want a 6" Yondu? I bought it for the arrow and don't need the actual figure. $15 shipped.
  9. Any customizers here familiar with Zag Toys Domez? I've got some Shadow Heartless from their Kingdom Hearts line that I'm trying to cut from the bases. My X-Acto knife isn't doing the job and I don't want to force it and rip through their feet. Any ideas for getting them off the base? *edit* Nevermind, I managed to cut through them. A bit like using a butter knife on concrete, but it worked out eventually.
  10. Happy Free Comic Book Day everyone! Hope you guys found some good stuff or at least had fun at your local comic shops. I got some great deals on back issues and managed to score an MU Multiple Man. 1 more and I have my trio. I regret not army building him back when he was pegwarming.
  11. It's a pretty decent Thunderbolts Shocker. I'd still like a replacement (or at least some gauntlets) for the original that they did in the Spider-Man line several years ago, but this one is serviceable. My only real complaint is that it uses those awful lower legs that Hasbro is pumping out lately where the ankles never seem to fit into a neutral position due to the wonky way they cut the joints.
  12. I found the Spider-Man packs at Target tonight. DPCI is 087-06-7988 Case pack is 4x Vulture and 2x Shocker
  13. Yeah if someone could post the DPCI for the 3.75" Homecoming Vulture and Shocker sets, I'd appreciate it too. I've tried a bunch of different numbers, but I can't seem to bring up anything Homecoming related. I don't feel like going through all 9,999 possible DPCI combinations.
  14. After selling through the Cassian wave, most of the WM's near me have suddenly restocked with the Phasma wave. I'm talking 2-3 cases per store. I may never see new figures again...Remind me why they didn't overproduce the Emperor's Royal Guard wave? I was hoping that one would suffer from wave one syndrome so I could easily army build them but it doesn't seem like they made as many as they usually do.
  15. Any chance they had a spare Cassian or the Scariff trooper? That wave hasn't hit within 100 miles of me. I'm not optimistic about finding them. Seeing the pics of the Sinister 6 set has me changing my tune a bit. They look great packaged and I'm almost tempted to get a spare to keep carded. They definitely had a few Cassians, but I'm nowhere near that store now. It's all good, I found that wave this week.

  17. At a local comic-con this weekend I picked up the old Toy Biz Spat & Grovel (they scale decently with MU) and some older Star Wars and Disney figures. Also found the new Jedha Revolt box set at Target.
  18. I found the new 2 packs at TRU today. Grabbed a second Guardians set so I can swap the jackets and have them both ways. As everyone has previously said, Doctor Strange has horrible QC and most were cross eyed.
  19. I don't know that there has ever been a Target spotting. But they are available at Hasbrotoyshop I'm hoping to find them at retail so I can pick out a decent paint job. If I absolutely have to, I'll gamble on HTS. It's still earlier though, so hopefully these have a big rollout soon. Now that I think about it, you wouldn't happen to still have the packaging would you? If so could you post a pic of the UPC?
  20. Does anyone have the DPCI's for the Doctor Strange and Guardians sets?
  21. Nice pics. Thank you. I'm glad to see the coats can be swapped.
  22. Thank you for the QC heads up. Does Yondu have an arrow for his holster? I think you're the first and only person to spot these at retail so far. I'm guessing "$32.99 maple leafs" means you're Canadian right? Has anyone managed to find these in the US?
  23. A little bit. I wish we'd gotten a proper classic Shocker, but I've really grown to love the Thunderbolts over the last few years and it's nice to keep filling out their ranks.
  24. BBTS finally put this wave up for pre-order. I wonder what took them so long? They also have the first wave of MCU 2-packs up.
  25. Thanks for the heads up everyone. Found these today at Target. Maestro turned out quite well, but I'd still like a classic version. X-23 is nice and I like the windswept hair. Moon Knight is actually somewhat decent once you pose him. The guy that poses these for cons and stock photos does a terrible job and really highlights all of the faults the sculpt has. Spider-UK is still on that godawful body, but the pattern on his suit hides the wonky torso proportions to some extent. Iron Man is a good looking sculpt and I can almost guarantee that Hasbro will rerelease it at some point with a resculpted right arm sans blade.
