3 3/4" sighting and hauls
stitch13 replied to thedevilsdue06's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I found a new wave of those Family Dollar 6" figures (the ones with 3 POA). There's a Scott Lang Ant-Man in this wave. He's not very articulated, but we have so few options for a comic style Scott. -

It's a shared universe (along with Ultimate Spidey) right? I didn't make it past the first few episodes of Avengers Assemble. -

Oh I like him. He's one of Hasbro's best, and all of his variants look great too. I was just hoping that this new one would be a proper modern Thanos (since we likely won't be getting one in MU anytime soon). Instead, it's a very scrawny and awkward looking sculpt. -

And EE updated that link with pics. Thanos is a hard pass. Is he really proportioned like that on the show? I expected this figure to be a smaller, less articulated version of the BAF from 2015. -

I'm not sure about the other Guardians, but Groot and Rocket do not have them. Some of the animated Spider-Man figures from the sister line do, but they aren't consistent about it. Here's hoping. -

Still no sign of pre-orders for the newest MU wave, but those 5-6" Guardians figures based on the TV show are getting a second wave. Thanos might work with MU. I'll have to wait for pics to be sure. http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HSB6662B#.WGwmrVzwnwk -

Barnes and Noble are stocking the Captain Marvel comic pack wave for $20 each if anyone still needs to find them. -

Gamestop has 3.75" Hasbro figures clearanced out to $3.15 a piece, buy one get one half off. They didn't have any MU that I needed, but I got a Stormtrooper and an Imperial Navy Commander for under $5 total. I'm assuming this is chain-wide and not a local thing so now would be a great time to fill in some holes that you have. -

Got the Guardians comic packs today. Groot is pretty awesome. His face is also much better and less jarring in person. Gamora seems to be glossier than the single, but it might be my eyes playing tricks on me. Rocket and Star-Lord are nice repaints, but we really should have gotten them back in that final wave from 2014. -

Thanks for the heads up Dohboy. Ordered the Guardians sets from Dorkside. I've never ordered from them before, so I was surprised to see they ship very quickly and the comic packs will be here on Monday. Is Dorkside always this fast? -

If anyone needs any of last year's waves, check Kmart. The ones around here did their big holiday reset and I'm seeing a ton of older MI figures pop up. Gamestops have also marked their figures down to $4.99 so they're worth a look too. -

Been on vacation for a bit. Got back and I see nothing has changed. Stay classy Hasbro. I scored the new 5" Ultimate Spider-Man Vulture and he's pretty cool. I use him and the 5" Rhino as nightmare versions caused by one of Mysterio's illusions. I see they have a Carnage lined up for the first wave next year, so I'll be looking forward to him too. Thanks for the tip illestr8r. I'll snag those if they are still in stock when I get paid Friday. Here's hoping. Otherwise, it's all Spaceballs out here (ain't found $&%*) -

Scored a Gambit from XMOW at an LCS and the Rampaging Hulk from AoU at a Family Dollar. -

Went hunting today. No comic packs, but I wasn't really expecting to find them. I picked up some Rogue One figures since I couldn't make it to Force Friday this year. The real prize was finding the Funko Reaction glow in the dark Oogie Boogie chase figure at TRU. Now I don't have to go nuts trying to hunt him down. -

Thanks guys. Glad I haven't missed them yet. I'm having a hard time justifying the price (plus shipping) for those 2 online. -

I FINALLY found the stealth versions of GoGo and Wasabi from Big Hero 6. I was beginning to think they'd never hit retail near me. -

If anyone wants a big Frost Giant monster, Gamestops have the Disney Infinity 2.0 Collector's Edition pack for sale for $14.99 (normally $179.99, no that's not a typo). It has a display base with the monster. Here he is with Thor: -

Yup that's it. Hyperion had a full beard and long hair towards the end. He was looking very Thor-ish. There's another variant Hasbro can do. Someone there seems to really love him. -

The Hyperion in the black costume joined during the last phase of Marvel Now. I believe it was at the start of the Time Runs Out story, but it may have been earlier. He was a new Hyperion. The single carded Hyperion can be one of several different versions. I think that look was most recently used in Jeff Parker's Thunderbolts run. He joined the time and quickly turned on the other Thunderbolts and they kicked his ass. He also works as a generic Hyperion or as a classic Hyperion, though he is missing the eyeliner for the latter. -

We don't know for sure, but probably not. The Maestro wave might start popping up in December, but I wouldn't expect it to really hit until everyone does their Jan/Feb reset. Hasbro could surprise us at NYCC, but I doubt it. Who knows though? -

Woo hoo! After months of searching Gamestops for the 3rd wave from last year, I finally hit the jackpot. Scored 2 Emmas (one for Dark X-Men and one for the Brotherhood) and 2 Chameleons (for customs) at $4.97 each. Oh and Tuesday Mornings have the Hulkbuster Legends and Walgreen's Black Ant for $9.99 and the DC Multiverse wave with Adam West/Deathstroke/Batman Beyond for $4.99.
