  1. BBTS just charged me for Wave 3. I also got an email stating that wave 2 of the comic packs should be in stock in the next 10 days.
  2. Oooh I like how Falcon turned out. Hoping he pops up soon, along with the TRU 2-packs. With Playmation being clearanced out of existence, I've been snatching up a few of the army builder figures (like the Ultron drone). One WM near me put the Ultron Prowler on clearance for $8. For that price, it's pretty cool and there's several uses for it in dioramas. I read in the instructions that it will track you down and "hunt" you through your house if you have the Playmation gear. I'm not gonna lie, that's awesome.
  3. My case finally showed up at my doorstep today. Overall it's a nice wave. Love the sculpted details on Gamora's armor. I was afraid they'd just paint them on. Same for Armored Spidey. He turned out pretty well, but mine has a wonky elbow on his "thwip" arm. I'm afraid to move it too much because it feels very gummy and fragile. Then again, he doesn't have a huge range of motion with that joint to begin with, so I guess it's not too bad. *edit* I also really like what they did with Vision's cape. It has a very cool, almost silky look to it due to the translucent effect.
  4. So my case of the Gamora wave from BBTS shipped last week and would have been here already if yesterday wasn't a holiday. USPS tracking shows it was accepted on Saturday at my post office with an ETA of today. Mail came and went and I got nothing. It was never marked as "Out for delivery", but that doesn't really mean anything as sometimes the tracker doesn't update until several hours after the package is dropped off. The tracking info still shows an estimated delivery date of Tuesday, May 31st. It's now after midnight on June 1st. I hope to Odin they don't mean Tuesday May 31st 2017...
  5. I picked up the new wave of Cap Legends for the Giant-Man BAF pieces. Got everyone but Black Panther, who was already gone. The figures (minus the BAF parts) are up for grabs if anyone wants 'em. $10 per figure plus shipping.
  6. I found that 5" Arnim Zola today. He's actually pretty disappointing. I was surprised by how cool the Ultimate Green Goblin ended up being and this is a 180. He's 5 poa, unlike the Goblin. The bright neon orange is also very awkward compared to most of the MU paint jobs. He ends up looking like a bath toy. Oh well, at least I have a stand-in until Hasbro gives us the good one.
  7. Disney Infinity got the axe yesterday (it's somewhat on topic as they have Marvel figures). 300 people fired with no advance notice. Bob Iger killed it off because of a dip in stock prices and budgetary issues largely caused by his ego-stroking pet project known as Shanghai Disneyland. Infinity was profitable, but it wasn't making enough money to satisfy the shareholders. I bring this up largely because I've seen several people mention that Disney should start producing Marvel figures instead of Hasbro. Despite all of the problems and cutbacks, at least Hasbro is still giving us something. Even customizers can get some use out of the new heads/body parts/accessories. Modern Disney is slashing budgets and cutting costs everywhere they can to placate the shareholders. Walt is spinning in his grave so fast he's about to blast out into space...
  8. Wave 3 of the singles and wave 2 of the comic packs are up for pre-order on BBTS: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/list.aspx?list=21048 Way to go with the horrible case pack for wave 3 Hasbro...Why couldn't they all be 2 per case?
  9. Wow these are popping up at comic shops already? Haven't seen them at retail and BBTS still hasn't gotten my pre-order in. Hopefully soon, especially with the next waves already hitting Chinabay.
  10. This wouldn't be a bad idea. Astral Strange was hard for a lot of people to find and Valkyrie wasn't common either. I'm still surprised Hasbro didn't pack alternate heads for the different Beast figures in both colors.
  11. Isn't it about time for the SDCC set (or part of it) to leak on Chinabay? The last two sets were tied into the most recent MCU film, so I guess a Civil War exclusive is possible. They might want to avoid Dr. Strange figures because Legends got them last year.
  12. True, but they're from Chinabay. It's only a month til the legit versions show up here.
  13. News broke today that Marvel is allegedly casting Shang-Chi for the Iron Fist series on Netflix. If true, his chances of getting a figure just shot way up. I just wish they could clear up the legal issues surrounding the earlier volumes of Master of Kung Fu so we can get some proper trades/hardcovers.
  14. I think stores are still iffy on Thor after the movie line bombed. Iron Man sits around after a while, but they have sold an obscene amount of Tony's over the last few years.

  16. EE has pre-orders up for the next wave of comic packs. The 3 new sets are all 2 per case and the Iron Man/Machine Man pack is carried forward.
  17. Pre-orders are up for the next wave. I got a case plus an extra Gamora. I'm glad Vision is 2 per case.
  18. I grabbed a Legends Venom today. I don't need the Absorbing Man heads though, so they're free (plus shipping) if anyone wants them
  19. I got the Civil War Cap with motorcycle set today. Incredibly good Chris Evans head sculpt and the overall buck isn't too bad. Those monkey hands really stand out here though. It's hard to pose him naturally because of the way his wrists are turned to hold the bike handles.
  20. Got the SDCC Dormammu in the mail today thanks to Yodaminch. Now my Shuma-Gorath Heroclix has someone to hang out with.
  21. Are you in a small town? I've noticed that the smaller Walmarts and the minor TRU's in my area haven't gotten these yet.
  22. Yup. I found the 2-packs at several Wal-Marts so far. Others have seen them at TRU and Meijer.
