  1. I could get behind that, but it would make army building a real #$##. Look at the upcoming Captain Marvel pack for example.
  2. Picked up a spare Carol at TRU. My first one had some smudging on her face and hair. This one has a much cleaner paint job. Also grabbed most of the new stealth suit variants for Big Hero 6. Got everyone but GoGo and Wasabi (someone had beaten me to them). They were buy one get one free at TRU so they were hard to pass up.
  3. Yup, as well as Meijer and TRU. Most places are in the middle of inventory/yearly resets so give it a little bit of time. Thanks! I'm in MA and have always had better luck at TRU. I'll stick to looking there! If it helps, I've noticed a pattern. Most places seem to put out the 5" Spidey figures first, then the Absorbing Man Legends, then the Cap Legends, THEN they get to the new 4" lines.

  5. There's a silver lining to the case packs though. Because one collector will clean out the case in one go, they should sell through faster which gets them restocked faster. Obviously this won't work perfectly but it might help improve distribution. Time will tell
  6. Waves 2 and 3 from 2014 started popping up late last year at WM. They were clearanced out after a week or two. Don't get your hope up yet, but so far the 3.75" Legends do seem to be off to a good start. Everyone start buying them up so we can keep this going.
  7. @Ddhawkins, yeah I can't wait either, but I hate that it's ending. At least they are ending it with dignity instead of dragging it out for 5 years of filler episodes.. Saw Deadpool tonight. I REALLY wish Disney would let a movie Deadpool figure happen. I know they are fighting Fox, but let us have this one. Just this one. *edit* In addition to Mockingbird, I also have Cap, Cottonmouth, Sharon Carter, and Demolition Man all up for trade or sale (still carded, minus the BAF pieces)
  8. Big haul today (thank you tax refund season!). All 8 of the new singles at TRU, all 3 comic packs at WM (TRU exclusive my arse...), ML Mockingbird (for the BAF piece), and I found the new Gravity Falls figures from Jazwares. Mockingbird is up for sale btw., $20 shipped. I'm keeping the Onslaught BAF piece, but otherwise she is complete and still packaged.
  9. I have no idea if they will replace it, but I have had nothing but great experiences with their customer service so give it a shot.
  10. http://www.hasbro.com/en-us/product/spider-man-arnim-zola:9168C093-5056-9047-F5BB-C85D5E2498F5 This one
  11. Yeah he should be. He won't be as articulated as the Legends BAF, but he'll be much, much closer in scale for MU.
  12. I found those Ultimate Spider-Man figures that popped up on Hasbro's website a few weeks back. They are closer to 5" than 6". I picked up 2 Goblins and 2 Rhinos to use a demons in my Hell display with Mephisto. The Rhino figure looks like a nightmare-ish version of Rhino and the Goblin turned out very well. Not 5 poa either. Ball jointed head, MU style shoulders, and MU style elbows. Legs only have hip articulation though.
  13. Yup mine's in stock too. Unfortunately I can't pay for it until next Friday so it'll be about 2 weeks until I can get them. I was not expecting them to hit so soon after pre-orders went up.
  14. Family Dollar has a new 6" Marvel line. They have 3 poa (head and both shoulders). Not too exciting, but there is an Ultron. I picked one up and it looks cool in a display with other Ultron drones. It's basically the recent Target 3-pack figure without much articulation.
  15. I believe that is from the 5" Spider-Man 3 line. It should scale nicely with MU I stand corrected. Not sure where that Lizard is from then. Is it the 6" classics figure from 2011? It looks a little small for that.
  16. From what I can tell, it is the TRU light-up base version without the metallic wash.
  17. I really don't know how I feel about this. On the one hand, this means case packs should no longer contain extras, meaning lower prices overall as e-tailers won't have as many leftovers as before. On the other hand, this has potential to make every figure slightly rarer than normal as they will all be one per case. I also feel that Hasbro has cut down the number of figures per case as a last-ditch effort to appeal to retailers. $104 isn't too bad since you don't have to factor in gas driving around looking for these.
  18. Vitruvian HACKS and Marauder Gunrunners were started with far less capital via Kickstarter. With this weeks's Powerball kind of money, I would make a new line aimed at collectors and customizers. Maybe drag Boss Fight to bigger heights. Maybe get a couple of underused franchises and revitalize the 3.75" fandom. Perhaps literary rights - Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, H.G. Wells, public domain superheroes - to cover the basic archetypes of sci-fi and fantasy. It may be a break-even or slight money loser, But I could afford it. Oh man that would be awesome. Plus Hasbro probably can't give us 3.75" figures of Conan or Red Sonja so this would be a nice way to sneak them in. That settles it, we all pool our cash for lotto tickets and set up shop with the winnings.
  19. I believe that is from the 5" Spider-Man 3 line. It should scale nicely with MU
  20. So with the Powerball being 1.4 billion and all, I've decided to buy a few tickets. It's something like 800 million after taxes. If I win, I'm totally calling up Hasbro with a list of demands. You guys want Kingpin? Howard the Duck? Forbush Man? Butt naked Mary Jane? Done...
  21. Saw on another site that you can make a decent MCU Purple Man with the head from a David Tennant Dr Who and the Peter Capaldi figure with a purple shirt that is in the new wave. I picked up Tennant, but I cannot find purple Capaldi. Has anyone actually seen this figure in the US? If so, which store?
  22. They are just updating their online product catalog. They usually do it around this time every year and a few new things leak out that won't be officially announced until Toy Fair. Pre-orders for the first wave go up on the 15th.
  23. This link is making the rounds on other sites: http://www.hasbro.com/en-us/product/spider-man-arnim-zola:9168C093-5056-9047-F5BB-C85D5E2498F5 Based on the $7.99 price tag, I'm guessing it is 3.75" scale. 5 poa, but it might make for a decent stand-in until we (ever?) get the real thing.
  24. I picked up the Playmation Ultron drone and Super Adaptoid. Very little articulation, but they look really cool as display pieces with the MU villains.
