This is going to replace my Revoltech Venom & Marvel Select Ultimate Venom. The revoltech one lacks size and Marvel Select Ultimate's lack articulation. All share the same monstrous design but this new one solves those issues.

I never really liked his Endgame design whether it's Legends, Select or Figuarts there's just too much gold in it. Would much rather have his armor from the 1st Guardians movie. That one has less gold, has more navy and helmet looks better imo.

Relevance could be a big factor.
Simplest answer is SuperSkrull. Skrulls' recent introduction in the MCU as well as Hasbro easily utilizing existing body / removable parts from previous Fantastic 4 figs like Reed's / Ben's arms and effects pieces from Sue and Johnny and alike.
For Galactus, would hasbro create a new bigger mold or utilize the one from Marvel Universe 19" figure.

That Doom reminds me of the old Ultimate Alliance game with all that detailing. At some point, this might come in variants like white version, maybe with infinity gauntlet or unmasked / damaged masked or even a slightly different tooling for a doombot or whatever it is that can be utilized for this mold.

I like this one more than the motorcycled version. This will not look out of place in the collection and I like how it's a military uniform than just red white blue costume as I can use it for some other characters as well.

Great review and a very good figure set. As a collector who's mainly into the Ultimate universe (including custom figures), this version of Cap just doesn't fit or hold a spot with the rest - based from the previous iterations of this figure. It's a stand alone WWII version which is more suited for Cap collectors. I do love it's mold-mate the 80th 2 pack MCU which is unique / military brown leather outfit and carries new head sculpts.

Looks like I can customize the body for an Ultimate FF Sue Storm and the Head / Jacket for a Rogue along with a spare figure. But I do hope hasbro would make an 80s style Rogue. I think they all fit together alongside that Punk Storm from last year

Reminds me of those Hulk figures from 2003. I feel like they might do the same for a new classic Dr Doom as a form of exclusive - hopefully not! Wouldn't be surprised if this will see a regular release at some point maybe a gray version or whatever.

This could be interesting and fun I remember that comic where Cyclops' beams coming out of his ears. LOL But seriously they could bring out multiverses and stuff we don't normally see.

I was expecting a scale armor uniform for Captain America as seen in concept art which translates better for the character. We saw those under his partly torn uniform in Infinity War as well. If they're saving it for wave 2, with a very good unmasked head, then that's just greedy. Anybody could wear those suits and you could just use any head from any figure like say the Civil War Cap.

Multiple accessories, unmasked head, highly articulated. This is one of the better / best 1:12 scale Spider-mans out there in that price range. We have so many choices on both comic & movie versions from toybiz to hasbro to imports. This could be an alternative to the Toybiz Spider-Man Classics.

Only looking forward to a new Cap with scale armor and regular Ronin

I might get this one if it's the same height as the ultimate peter parker

these aren't bad. Though another cost effective alternative to a generic tactical army build would be those Figma Gurlokovich soldiers on ebay. They used to be $12 (free shipping) and was really happy to have multiples especially for photography. They may not be over 6 inches but at least they're not too bulky and don't take up so much space over your main subject.

while that new Dr Doom would have lots of custom figure possibilities, those details would cost some $$ anyway, e.g cloth, head etc. So I'd rather put my money and wait for what Mezco has to offer or even hasbro. If hasbro can update Magneto, pretty sure they could do the same for Doom. I'm fine with my Epic Heroes right now, it's not too bad and I can sell it higher than what I paid for when the time comes a new improved Doom figure comes up.

Spider-man's paint looks better than I expected. I'm already sold with the Hasbro Gambit but I might pickup the revoltech one anyway especially for action photography.

Import brands such as Revoltech, Figuarts have a good selection of Iron Man figures both movie and comics. Last time I had a legends Iron Man was 2010 - 2011 with that Mark IV w Tony Stark head. Legends are ok but the added accessories, detailing and high articulation of imports is more satisfying both on display and toy photography.

I'm already contented with the Legends even without an unmasked head which I can easily pull out from a custom made or other wolvies. Legends seem to have the right bulkiness to it and color. Same thing with the Mafex Deadpool, both are great but I don't feel left out by passing on em. Spiderman might be an exception though.

Diggin the urban style on that Bomber Jacket Carol which I could also use the a vest for other characters. And that Fury too so I can get my T'challa a business look lol. Can be versatile for photography.

I'm in for that Professor X, the rest I'm not sure but they're ok. We definitely need an updated Dr Doom with better articulation. It's 2018 and the Epic Heroes one already looks dated. Maybe Mezco One12 or the other import lines.

I usually go with MLs & Japan imports but this one is a must have for me not because it's a Wolverine figure (it doesn't even feel like wolverine at first glance) but the extras and possibilities it can be especially with photography. A simple head swap with another character or a mask would open up a lot of ideas. Scale is not an issue too because you can always make it work for you and be creative.
Hope they make a Doctor Doom as well

LOL this is my new favorite in the series. Mostly due to the extras and scooter. Always a welcome addition especially for photgraphy.

Wasn't expecting that street / mercenary Killmonger and that's a must have for me. I value figures with a mercenary / street design than the costumed ones.

Season 2 is looking good so far. I had no dramas with season 1 whatsoever. It just might be a character development thing. But I do noticed that DareDevil S1 &2 seemed to be well written & executed. Marvel took their time as it was their pilot series (must have a good establishment) and when they set a tight release date for the later series like Defenders / Iron Fist, they didn't have much production time to execute and write in the same quality as Daredevil.

Not really a priority but at a right price I might get one just so I could have the book, glasses & repaint the smiling head blue.
It's Hasbro's selling strategy. They won't give out all the proper add-ons for a certain character till they release an alternate version & sometimes as deluxe. The 80 years Captain America didn't have an unmasked head (which should have already ) so that might be something that they'll do at some point with an alternate version.
