  1. Not really a priority but at a right price I might get one just so I could have the book, glasses & repaint the smiling head blue.

It's Hasbro's selling strategy. They won't give out all the proper add-ons for a certain character till they release an alternate version & sometimes as deluxe. The 80 years Captain America didn't have an unmasked head (which should have already ) so that might be something that they'll do at some point with an alternate version.

  2. Relevance could be a big factor.

Simplest answer is SuperSkrull. Skrulls' recent introduction in the MCU as well as Hasbro easily utilizing existing body / removable parts from previous Fantastic 4 figs like Reed's / Ben's arms and effects pieces from Sue and Johnny and alike.

For Galactus, would hasbro create a new bigger mold or utilize the one from Marvel Universe 19" figure.

  3. Great review and a very good figure set. As a collector who's mainly into the Ultimate universe (including custom figures), this version of Cap just doesn't fit or hold a spot with the rest - based from the previous iterations of this figure. It's a stand alone WWII version which is more suited for Cap collectors. I do love it's mold-mate the 80th 2 pack MCU which is unique / military brown leather outfit and carries new head sculpts.

  4. I was expecting a scale armor uniform for Captain America as seen in concept art which translates better for the character. We saw those under his partly torn uniform in Infinity War as well. If they're saving it for wave 2, with a very good unmasked head, then that's just greedy. Anybody could wear those suits and you could just use any head from any figure like say the Civil War Cap.

  5. these aren't bad. Though another cost effective alternative to a generic tactical army build would be those Figma Gurlokovich soldiers on ebay. They used to be $12 (free shipping) and was really happy to have multiples especially for photography. They may not be over 6 inches but at least they're not too bulky and don't take up so much space over your main subject.

  6. while that new Dr Doom would have lots of custom figure possibilities, those details would cost some $$ anyway, e.g cloth, head etc. So I'd rather put my money and wait for what Mezco has to offer or even hasbro. If hasbro can update Magneto, pretty sure they could do the same for Doom. I'm fine with my Epic Heroes right now, it's not too bad and I can sell it higher than what I paid for when the time comes a new improved Doom figure comes up.

  7. I usually go with MLs & Japan imports but this one is a must have for me not because it's a Wolverine figure (it doesn't even feel like wolverine at first glance) but the extras and possibilities it can be especially with photography. A simple head swap with another character or a mask would open up a lot of ideas. Scale is not an issue too because you can always make it work for you and be creative.

Hope they make a Doctor Doom as well

  8. Season 2 is looking good so far. I had no dramas with season 1 whatsoever. It just might be a character development thing. But I do noticed that DareDevil S1 &2 seemed to be well written & executed. Marvel took their time as it was their pilot series (must have a good establishment) and when they set a tight release date for the later series like Defenders / Iron Fist, they didn't have much production time to execute and write in the same quality as Daredevil.
