  1. I'd be all over this if Daredevil's wearing his all black gear and Cage has hoodie jacket. It's difficult to tell too if Iron Fist will ever get a new look or proper gear in Netflix that we might see down the road as well as in figure form. I wouldn't be disappointed if they use the Orson Randall design instead - which actually might look better in a Netflix live action series.
  2. Good addition to the shelf and quite ok for "Vanilla" poses. Not sure why they had so much design challenge incorporating a proper placement on that shoulder pads. They could've taken notes from their Nova, Darkhawk and some Iron Man figures.
  3. The price point is a little steep so I'm fine with the hydra / single release for now. Though this exclusive looks really cool, the other one is actually more functional especially for acba / photo display.
  4. I'm surprised this venom isn't that tall which is just fine imo. Thought he might be close to 8-9 inches or bigger than hulk based on the initial promo images. I still like the revoltech especially for photography (lightweight and easy for aerial poses). If only this venom had the original white logo, I'd be all over it.
  5. Mezco really nailed the head sculpt on this one. Hasbro Legends is holding up pretty good for its price point but Mezco stepped up their game even further.
  6. Yellowjacket is a must have for me. I still like the 1st release ant-man with all the metallic wash finish though and I think the current movie's unmasked smirking head looks better.
  7. Nice set! Good to have those head swaps. I think this Red Skull is really good despite not sporting the black uniform from the tesseract set.
  8. I would've ordered this if it had the Stan Lee parts. At least this set is not bad for those who missed out on the falcon or wanted to have a different winter soldier.
  9. Totally forgot about this uniform. I almost thought he only wore that other uniform from Skull / Hydra figure at Toyfair and realized that there was something different from what I vaguely recall in the movie. This one takes the cake for looking a bit more menacing.
  10. There's always something off about that figuarts unmaksed one. Glad hasbro improved theirs but they also could've easily utilized the body from that infinity war cap at least that one is not skinny.
  11. The helmet looks a bit like his ultimate duds. A lot of custom possibilities on the unmasked head too.
  12. Finally! 6 inch Legends Iron Man figs are mostly lacking in articulation compared to some imports (better for photo poses). But this one's definitely a good addition to the shelf.
  13. Could you post some images of Ronan too. Interesting to see some scale comparisons
  14. These movie figures have so much detail which reflects the Ultimate universe's design. Accuracy is unimportant to me, as I collect or custom whichever version whether it's Ultimate or MCU - they both kinda mirror each other anyways. Basically just removed his cape and loincloth part and just replaced with a real thin cloth which now allows more leg articulation. Some drybrushing on the torso, armguard as well as the sculpted hammer. Nothing much on the legs because the figure itself has good details already. The hand wraps are actual wraps from very thin foams which allows for wrist articulations. Still has the original Mjolnir but of course I prefer the bigger more hardcore hammer. I had 2 other Ultimate Thors from Diamond Select and a previous custom. Sold both because this new one is much more fun to pose and goes well with my display.
  15. I wanted to do this work after watching the movie a couple times. This is my favorite version of the character and I didn't regret selling my BAF to make room for this one. The height is around 7 1/2 inches. This is mostly a kitbash of different parts from the Hammer Action toy and some useful bits at home like shoe cushion, foam and chopstick. An all black wrestling figure was my base so there was very minimal paint work just mostly on the face, fingers, red mark.
  16. The Ultimate Universe will definitely end in Secret Wars but it doesn't mean that these versions will become irrelevant. In fact these designs are heavily mirrored in the movies and similar appearances in the mainstream comics / media. It's the look that is important anyways. In the end every character can wear whatever gear they want right? The same goes with custom figures. Base figure from X-Force Wolvie, a relief since the base is already dark colored with a few blue washes, perfect for Ultimate Wolverine. Head casted and painted everything using Acrylic. Probably not the best base for any Juggernaut figure, hence the reason why I decided to proceed on changing the original to Ultimate. Marvel Select Juggernaut for me stands as the best one. The custom is painted mostly with black base and then applied some dry brushing. Straps are a dark gray adhesive thick DYI tape and the rivets are those black pearly mobile phone stickers. Sculpted a bit on the helmet to cover the wholes. Thank you for viewing! Some sculpted parts on the torso, balloons for loincloth, and all straps are a brown rubberized material from a Japanese home DYI product. Hammer is a complete sculpt. Thank you so much for viewing! In the end every character can wear whatever gear they want right? The same goes with custom figures. Utilizing the Machine Man base figure so no need to paint the purple again. Most of the holsters, pockets are from a Toybiz Punisher, some minimal sculpting, purple balloon for the scarf and fused the extra head and weapons from the Modern Hawkeye (which I used as base for Cyclops), some are casted and from other 6" figures. Here is the breakdown of the total items of this Hawkeye set: - Ultimate Hawkeye masked figure (removeable head) - 4 pistols of 2 different designs (handheld or holstered) - 2 Bows (the other one with nylon for action poses) - 2 arrows - 1 Crossbow (arrow mountable) - 1 Quiver - 1 Backpack Thank you so much for viewing! This custom is using the Hawkeye base, head from the movie and then boots from WWE basic overrun. The straps are a dark rubber band. The black color of the base figure was a big help since Cyclops uniform is already dark anyways. Thank you for looking! 21. not sure if people would want something like this but this is interesting to see with this current wolverine body mold. Now that Hasbro has made an unmasked wolverine head they can utilize it for different wolverines - ultimate version, age of apocalypse, etc. IMO the ML Ultimate Wolverine from Blob series needs to be improved just like what they did to Emma Frost. They could have just given the previous yellow wolverines a removable head in the first place. lol. and maybe make a different version with this head:
  22. This custom was all paint work - washes and drybrushing to change Ultimate Iron Man's look into more metallic finish. The figure has many flaws especially on overall design as clearly seen even after applying paint but this is already a fine update for me as someone who heavily collects Ultimate Marvel.
