  1. I've gone to TRUs in my area (Ontario, Upland etc) and the employees simply refuse to go in the back and look. They always tell me "whatever is in the aisle". Which is just a waste of my time.
  2. Just an FYI, this uses the same item number as Ant-Man. I just walked to the nearest Walgreens that said they had 2-5 and it was actually Ant-Man. Still helps to narrow down stores that stock them though. Boy was I lucky to walk in and find 3 of them. I took 2. Some Walgreens though won't carry them early on from what I was told by a manager. Some will.
  3. They've hit the San Diego area now as well. The hunt for the Fury army build is on!!! I got 4 Furys! Luckily I found them surfing Hasbrotoyshop late night.
  4. Yup that's my feeling too. Hasbro should do a deluxe line for special characters that would need a lot of accessories, etc to show their power. They could probably charge an extra 10 or 20 dollars and people would get better paint apps, more articulation, extra heads, hands, accessories and more sculpting to their figures. They wouldn't need to do many either per release of wave. Maybe just one or two per wave, separately from the wave that as...as an extra.
  5. Man some of you guys have the worst luck. I got two 3 pack Target sets for 26 or whatever dollars it was at one target. They priced matched it to the online price and I think I paid like 54 bucks for both since I had a Target red card (extra 5% off). Got a great deal!
  6. Nice. I didn't stop with Legends though. I got some GI Joes, DC, Figma particularly Fate Stay Night figures, NECA aliens, robocop, etc Transformers!! I can't stop!!!
  7. Was out shopping at Target when I saw the Terrax wave. I was like Terrax!!!! I was big fan of the Silver Surfer comics and had the several issues where they fought Morg, etc. I was like I have to get this one, so the first figure I got was Hope Summers. Yup, Hope Summers, then got the whole wave. After that I was hooked. Got a whole wall of Marvel Legends now.
  8. I can confirm this. It's for the website only. If you've already purchased the set, then just bring your confirmation order number to a store and you'll get reimbursed the difference. If you no longer have your hard copy, then dig out your confirmation email from the trash. I can confirm it as well. Using the package slip I got from the TRU website I went to the store and got reimbursed the difference. Since I bought two sets I got about 21 dollars back in total! I loooovveeee saving money and enjoying my hobbie! BTW, make sure you do it soon when the price is still 39.99 because they check right there.
  9. I do not think this would sell well. The reason being they'd be for specific figures and most people are satisfied with what they get they wouldn't want to spend extra money to get extra parts they probably would feel they should get with the figure in the first place. The only way they can do this is including it in the whole package with figure, but at a higher cost. People would be more inclined to buy it.
  10. Yeah that would suck unless it were a larger figure that needed to be detailed.
  11. Honestly, you know what would be awesome is if they sold a "premium figure." Like a figure that includes more accessories, more detail and better quality of course it would be at a higher price, but would be figures that would require them to be premium figures. What I mean by that is that some characters are scrapped by hasbro because they get too expensive to offer them at 20 bucks, so why not just make a premium fig? Doesn't have to be many a year, maybe like 4 to 6 or so.
  12. Picked up a few of them, especially the daredevil. The other more common figures I'll probably get from the store.
  13. Amazon had some last night or...err morning around 3am Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel. Picked them both up.
  14. Walmart.com had em in stock last night I think, but man I've been so busy I couldn't stay up late to get a few figures...ohhh well. Just need a couple figures. Anyone know when the 3pack exclusive with Fury and company will come out?
  15. I went to Target (Inland Empire Southern California) and nothing. I heard the LA area has got them already, but from the looks they don't have em here OR because they are the same number as the cap they are having difficulty locating them. I have gotten most of them already, just need a thor and hawkeye. Probably will go Amazon for them since I get free shipping.
  16. I prefer the Hasbro version mainly because I just hate those old toybiz shoulders and the proportions. It makes him look blocky and unatural. I also hate how big the head is compared to the body on the toybiz. While the articulation is pretty decent, the proportions just seem off imho. The hasbro one isn't perfect, it's kind of small at about 6", I mean it is 6 inch scale, but when compared to the newer figures, especially the females, tower over it. Making him look small. His proportions though are much better which is why I prefer it. Still wish the size of the figure were better though. It's a bit too undersized for the size of todays figures male and female.
  17. BTW, they got a preorder on ebay for 160 bucks or so for 7 figs comes out to about 22 bucks. Just a heads up. Look up nerdotoys (I think they are dorkside)
  18. Nice I just found one in a Target in the Inland Empire. They are out in Socal it seems. So get em while you can!
