  1. I received the Hulkbuster wave a few weeks ago from Dorkside. I collect Legends for my 7 year old nephew, although I keep them at my house, he can play with them any time he comes over. So we open one figure every time that he visits, so that each one is appreciated. Here's our current mish mash of Avengers. I also got my order from Walgreens yesterday. The kid's birthday is in a few weeks, so I'll hold off until then. One for him to take home, the other for our collection.
  2. Do you mean at retail? My Hulkbuster wave came last Friday from Dorkside, but I haven't heard anything about the Ant Man wave that I preordered at the same time.
  3. Can you share that coupon code? I didn't see it on the website.
  4. I preordered the Ant Man, Spiderman, and final Avengers waves at Dorkside today. 39
  5. Similar story here. I had purchased X-Men and other Marvel figures for my younger brother back in the early 90's. I was a Star Wars fan as a kid, and felt burned by nostalgia for the toys when the prequels came out. I bought a bunch of stuff, but didn't have anywhere to display or use them. So during Christmas 2012, I was looking for something to get my nephew. I had already gotten him a bunch of MiniMates, but was looking for something different. I was at Fry's of all places, and randomly saw Fantomex on a corner isle. I don't know why, but I was really drawn to it. Was a bit leery of the $15 (hah!) price tag, but I bought it. Facebook recently notified me of a picture that I took two years ago of the kid with all the Legends we'd collected, which was about 20 at the time. Here we are today, I need to slow down.
  6. I have been hitting up that store for at least 3 years, and never found squat. Hopefully Dorkside gets their shipment in soon.
  7. Thanks for the advice you two, I had forgotten to try the blowdryer method. But I ended up needing to use a drill bit to open the hole to the necessary width.
  8. I finally got my hands on Black Widow, so now I could build Mandroid. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the left arm to fit into the socket. I have two left arms, and neither one fits. I noticied that the connector on both is noticably thicker than that of the right arm, as you can see below. Anyone had this issue come up before? I'm not sure if I need to sand down the arm connector, or attempt to widened the arm hole in the torso.
  9. Wal-Mart has Black Widow and the Hydra Soldier available online. http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/32666204 http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/32666198
  10. Got an email that my Proto Fett has shipped, but not Agent Venom.
  11. I did the pre-order as well, haven't heard a thing from Walgreens.
  12. I took my nephew (I buy them for him) to the closest TRU today. We were looking for Black Widow, and a guy had an employee checking for something in the stockroom. Being paranoid, I assumed it was about the Cap 2 wave. When we were walking out, the guy was paying at the register. They had a box of X-Men in the back, and dude bought them all. I asked if they had anymore, and they said no. I'll ask at the other two local TRUs, if not I'll place an order through Dorkside. 39
  13. So apparently they have tons of the Winter Soldier first wave down here in Mexico. I know that the demand isn't nearly the same as it is in the states, but I'm surprised how much better they promote it. This is at a toy store in Guadalajara. As you can see, there are at least 12 figures there, and the entire display had four shelves. More than 50 legends in one place. Even at Wal-Mart, they had a tv playing the first movie, with a shelf of about 20-30 figures beneath it. I've never seen a Wal-Mart in California with more than two pegs for a wave. It looks like the 2nd wave hasn't made it here yet. If I can't find a Black Widow, I'll probably pick up a few extra AIM soldiers for a possible trade.
