  1. IMO, yes $20 is much more expensive when you consider how recent the Cabal set was. That is a huge jump.. But I do agree Hasbro’s pricing has been inconsistent. Dragonman, feels like a $100 ++ figure but we get him for the same cost as this 3 pack. The Colossus from the Deadpool film was $40 as a deluxe and he came with an extra set of hands and a journal. While the Target Black Widow was only $28 and had what? 15 accessories? But at the end of the day, Ive bought nearly every set Hasbro has put out, and I'll get the Savage Land set too. Im playing right into their hands lol
  2. Well this is a bummer. And for $90?!? Wasn't the Cabal set $70 just last year? Yeah, yeah tarriffs... sure, that makes this $20 more. . Oh right, SDCC = exclusivity. There's your uncharted. Well, the bad news is if I want Shanna, I have to get the other two. The good news, I could recoup the cost by selling off the unwanted figs. Geez, this hobby is turning me into a cynical lol
  3. We'll at least Phantom Rider, the Enchantress and Werewolf by Night make the wave interesting. I know rumors point otherwise, but really would hope WbN is the comic version. The MCU version was basically a very hairy guy.. But Warbow?! Cripes...Crystar himself was a deep dive..Ive got to think this would be the last of the Crystal Warriors to be made right? Is there a market for a full revival of the old toy line?
  4. For those that had to re-order, is the expected shop date still June 3rd or did they bump it out a few months?
  5. Whew, I think I'm in the clear. I saw reports of people having their orders canceled a day after they were emailed saying to verify address or update payment method. I got that email to update my credit card so I started to wonder. People were saying the option to update cards wasn't there, they updated but still got canceled.... just the usual Wally World BS.. Im half tempted to pre-order again in case they DO cancel my order and Im too late for this 2nd chance lol But I had no trouble updating my info, thye haven't charged me yet but I have a suspicion they stopped charging once they realized they were having technical issues. Fingers crossed both 77 Spidey and Ghost Spidey arrive as planned EDIT: now I'm a bit worried.. I got another email asking me tp update my payment. So I did for a 2nd time... this probably doesn't bode well
  6. The only conclusion that can be drawn from the price drop on Electro is that us fans decided he wasn't a $35-40 figure and the only way they can recoup some of their loss is to discount him. Let's face it: no Foxx likeness, not an extraordinary amount of accessories.... no way they should have priced this figure how they did. I got mine as a birthday gift along with Symbiote Spider-Man 3 so I didn't eat that cost but to be honest, Electro was the least interesting returning villain from NWH, so I wasn't paying the retail price anyway. But $21 ...? Now you are speaking my language
  7. My guess for the line is what they did for the Retro wave. The main 4 and and the last 2 spots are powered up versions of Johhny and Sue. Maybe the last 2 are store exclusives.
  8. Damn, expensive month: Symbiote Spider-Man 3, Max Hulk, D+ Punisher, FF She-Hulk, Crossbones/ Masque, 2 Thunderbolts 2 packs Now fingers crossed they don't ship the same month as well...
  9. The Madame Masque / Crossbones set went on Amazon early yesterday. I was able to place my order around 10 pm last night as opposed to the 1pm EST release that was listed.
  10. This figure turned out better than hoped. Instead if a simple repaint, Hasbro went the extra mile with the different body type. It's subtle but goes a long way to let us know this isn't Carol. Also, have seen a few leg swaps that turn this figure into the Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated version of Carol. Looks amazing as well.
  11. Agree. Before she was announced, I wondered if we'd get that version. Despite being the classic version, she is pretty basic and She-Hulk has many more dynamic suits they could have chosen. But, Hasbro DID pick the Retro suit and absolutely knocked it out of the park. I love her as well. This is a case where simple is better
  12. I'd be done with Legends if Hasbro quit them aa well.. I too, have been there since Series 1 of Cap, Iron Man, Hulk and Toad. In that time, I've been Avengers only, a completist (briefly), comc Avengers and MCU completist, a grab what I think is cool guy, all in, half out, tried to follow their scale from 6' to 4", gave up other action figure lines to support THIS hobby, bought multiples to keep one in package, dabbled in customizing and a specific character completist. These days, I've reigned it back to just Avengers amd MCU again. No longer buy multiples nor do I stray from my main two areas, though I AM completing teams I had started that Hasbro finally looks to be making an effort to finish. Buti just don't have the energy to start over. Marvel Legends has been a part of my wife for a very long time. I've literally had kids grow to adulthood when I've been collecting . If Hasbro is out, this would be a natural ending for my collection
  13. Oh I wish I had your resolve. I got the AForce She-Hulk because she hadn't been done at the time. Then I got the Grey She-Hulk because "ripped jeans and shirt"? Awesome. Then I got the green version because that's the one I really wanted. Next was D+ Shulkie. Amazing figure but not a "classic". That version was next, from the Iron Man retro wave. Now the FF suit. And probably a update on the modern unitard look. And perhaps a lawyer suit version. I place the bla e squarely on Hasbro. If they'd stop improving her , I'd have quit collecting her. LoL
  14. Seems a long time coming. Just hope the blue matches the rest of the team
  15. They do seem to be hitting more modern interpretations
