  1. Ehhh... maybe, I can see the upside but that’s a tough sell to the masses who have no idea what her story entails. However, they have made more than one Blob figure and “Blob” on the package of a morbidly obese man could look worse than “ Big Bertha” on a figure of large woman
  2. Or the Grand Director. Dang Marvel had so many characters that wore the swastika... I get it was of an era ( WWII) but.. jeez poor taste
  3. Red Skull in his green jumper with a giant swastika ( sorry @enzosaurusrex this one does not mean hope 😁) Big Bertha ( eating disorder super power = shame) Fu Man Chu ( Shang Chi’s dad) Dr Bong, I know he has a bell for a head but try putting that on a toy package
  4. Jùst because I like the idea of an Iron Man wave, I’d add an MCU Iron Man wave to knock out much needed characters Brief case suit from Iron Man 2 update Obadiah Stane or Happy Hogan’s Justin Hammer ( can’t have 3 civilians in a wave and a simple head swap wouldn’t work due to body differences) Whiplash Main suit from Iron Man 1 silver suit from Iron Man 1 killian powered up BAF Iron Monger
  5. So not Legends related but I’ve logged roughly 7 hours on this game through the Beta that began yesterday. First impressions: it’s a lot of fun. Each playable Avenger feels different and each brings something new to the table. The levels that I was allowed to play do get repetitive but that is ok as I am trying to learn the ins and outs of each Avengers powers. If the entire game is like this I can see grinding really becoming a chore but the first hands on is pretty cool to get to be each iconic hero. Impressions of each: Black Widow: might be the best combatant in the game, seems a little too overpowered, you will see when you play. Fast and does a lot of damage Iron Man: at first I was a little underwhelmed, but once I was able to upgrade the armor he was a blast to play Thor: the mechanics of the hammer are the highlight for sure.. only get to play as him briefly but so much fun Hulk: any one have the old Ultimate Destruction game? The Hulk in this game reminds me of that and that is a great thing Captain America: not enough time with him, as he is “killed” and you never ever play as him again.. worst kept secret that Cap will somehow survive since Justice League “surprised” us that Superman was in the movie Ms Marvel: I know very little about her but her powers are a blast. Surprisingly fun character The story is chopped up by design as you don’t get full levels but it seems like it will be an overall awesome game the biggest worry I had were the ugly AF costumes. The one that can be previewed are pretty much different colors of the same skin which isn’t great, there are a few surprises which I won’t spoil but I can say they aren’t classic comic or MCU but they will make a lot of people happy. Well at least for Iron Man. for those on the fence, give it a try. The simple combat scheme , great graphics, solid story all seem to be in place.
  6. I could actually see Hasbro making an pretty awesome Swarm.. there are few customs online that are decent so with Hasbro’s quality of work I’m sure they could knock it out of the park.
  7. Well, in truth I know it doesn’t make sense to do ALL Iron Man wave, just more pointing out there are quite a few versions of ol she’ll head that people want. yeah, McFarlane’s “DC” license.. or more accurate McFarlane’s Batman license...count out blessings that Hasbro has the Marvel license
  8. Took me a minute to figure out what you meant about the goggles. Yeah the first versions had two separate eye lenses instead of one full goggle.. i will have to agree again. The full version does look better... seen a few artists not use any lenses or goggles at all, his cowl just had eye openings. Probably the worst option..
  9. Until this past SDCC I would have said a comic accurate Hellfire Club Emma Frost. I mean , its a figure wearing lingerie!! Just lingerie. Well and a cape. But if anything could make me smile in this dumpster fire that is 2020 it’s that a major toy company is going to sell us action figures wearing underwear..
  10. I would take an all Iron Man Iron Man wave. Hasbro could knock out definitive versions of Silver Centurion, Modular, updated (again) Neo Classic, original Grey or Gold, heck even that weird “nose” helmet.. through in one or two updated MCU armors and we’ve got a solid Iron Man wave. Forget the supporting cast and villains for one wave and check a lot of boxes
  11. I hear you about jumper Pym, and I understand your point that it’s not for everyone. To me, it was the costume he wore during an era when this team was my first to read pile. It grows on you, the costume he wore before looked like a Dr. Who lite (see below) and wasn’t very fitting. On top of that, i was a huge JohnByrne fan and his art made it look cool. i agree on the rest as well. I have always loved Yellowjacket and think it’s a shame that one storyline is held against the guy, other than that unfortunate mark, his costume is just awesome. And the Mockingbird/Tigra would be amazing. Knock out two classic Avengers in one swoop.. I’m all in
  12. Ah makes sense. And the perfect armor for the 5” toy line from the 90s. I had a few of those old figures that came with accessories that did exactly what you described. Just thought it was a gimmick to sell toys., no idea it was directly from the comic. Actually pretty savvy, if there were ever a perfect marriage of comics and toys this was it. thanks for the quick break down, great info
  13. This was also a cool Mandarin armored look from the Marvel Universe 3 3/4 line. He came in a red and green version but not sure if this look ever appeared in any comics
  14. Is this Modular Iron Man? This is one of the few armors I’m unfamiliar with. Isn’t every armor technically “modular” ? Any one got a second to explain the highlights of this particular armor?
