  1. Also used the stands that Mattel put out for their DC Universe Classics. The peg is in an odd spot, I think they intended every figure to be in a dramatic standing pose but they fit most Legends
  2. I realize that it’s been less than a year, just suggesting that this mod is in the plans.
  3. I’d go very retro as in Amazing Friends era 1: Iceman ( more white/ blue tints like cartoon) 2: Firestar with Ms. Lion 3: J. Jonah Jameson ( can’t believe they haven’t used the Serkis Klaw and mod it for this guy yet) 4: Spider-Man with 80’s Peter Parker head 5: Flash Thompson with oversized ego 6: Shanna the She-Devil ( because there are not enough bikinis in the Legends line. Plus she was totally in that one episode that one time
  4. I have used Neca flight stands, tamashii, Neca action figure stands ( round discs) but they only kinda work and definitely not on every figure. the tamashii trident stand may look flimsy but it easily holds three legends with out drooping. kinda weird hasbro gives their figures peg holes for stands but relies on third party to actually provide the stands
  5. I’m all for releasing odd ball characters, I guess my first post was dismissive of her character, wasn’t intended to be. Sorry Doreen fans ( yes, I admit I know nothing about her but I took the time to google her as a peace offering haha) She is someone’s Rock Python or White Rabbit for sure,
  6. Yeah not that she can’t have a Vespa, just asking if she has used one in her comic appearances to (don’t want to say “justify” her being in the Riders line, but maybe I guess) get around on. No logic other than curiosity in my question. I dont care if it makes no sense that she has a scooter, heck give Professor X roller skates, I’m sure someone will enjoy her, just asking because I know zilch about that character
  7. Is Squirrel Girl on a Vespa an accurate depiction of her character? Does she require a scooter for any reason to be Squirrel Girl? I guess I’m not sure why she is included in the Riders line. Would she be out of place in a regular line without a vehicle? Seems like their are more worthy candidates for a character with a “ride” or vehicle than her. Apologies to her fans but seems like a wasted spot ( and character but I digress). thinking outside the lines a little: Ice Man with a proper ice slide (or similar effects for appropriate characters: cloud effect for Storm, Lightning for Thor) more traditional: Namor with Shark or Seahorse Black Knight or Hawkeye with Sky Cycle) MCU Black Widow on Cycle ( Age of Ultron)
  8. Hasbro loves them some Thanos so it is a good possibility. The Eternals is such a left field choice for Marvel Studios but after getting hits out of the Guardians and Ant-Man I am prepared to show them a little faith. My hope is to get comic versions of the few Eternals characters that have joined the Avengers. Might be my only shot for comic versions of Starfox, Sersi and Gilgamesh (with the cow helmet circa Avengers #300, so dumb yet endearing) Don't really care for the Eternals as a whole, but the possibilities of potential characters is intriguing
  9. I bit the bullet and was able to snag two Binary CMs when they briefly went up on Wal-Mart.com. Glad I did, they shipped within a few days and I have had them for a few months now. Never did see them in stores and the listing on their website hasn’t had them in a long time as well. Was a little annoyed at paying approximately $5 more each but better than what I’ve seen them going for recently online
  10. I’d say Disney acquiring the DC license would never happen but if House of Mouse recent history is any indication they could try to get the license and complete their take over of the world. in all seriousness, handing Hasbro the DC license in ADDITION to the Marvel license would be permission to print money. Can you imagine a Justice League wave in the quality of this years Legends. Ridiculous. In this fantasy world I’d want to see the DC line separate but with the same Legends team creating them. Then after the line has gotten its feet I’d love special crossover box sets like Batman & DareDevil or Punisher, Superman and Captain America, things similar in theme. The possibilities are endless. Or they could do specialty waves featuring characters from their comic crossover classics. Superman/ Spider-Man wave, X-men/ Teen Titans, JLA/ Avengers.
  11. With a similar price range and realism I can see NECA having a shot at grabbing collectors attention. Although I recognize that horror and bloody action figures are not for everyone their recent Laurie Strode and Jason Voorhees are incredible. Plus they get on average 5-6 accessories per figure. Are we limited to 6-7 inch scale? I’ve recently picked up nearly all the Chicken Fried Toys Dime Novel Legends 3.75 action figures. Very quality items but I’ve heard of QC issues concerning breakage. Hiya toys have high quality Aliens, Predator and DC Injustice figures but they are at a way higher price point for 3.75 figs Bossfight Studios has lots of fun figures from different eras. Spartans, Knights, Gorgons, Elves, soon to be Zombies, The Phantom and Flash Gordon. DC Multiverse is too little too late. They introduced a lot of greats but the end result is pretty meh... the best recent which could compare to recent Legends quality has been Jon Stewart, Nigthwing and Batman Beyond. Stand them next to recent legends and they are comparable but these are few and far between. In the same release as Jon Stewart the Wally West, Starfire, Beast Boy have bizarre features like large heads or hair and soft plastic. From past experience I think McFarlane toys could challenge with the DC license. Unless they insist on making statues instead of articulated figures. If they fully embrace their “action” figure roots I’d be willing to pat for yet another Superman. Mafex and S.H. Figuarts are great looking but too expensive, especially if they attempt the quantity that Legends is putting out. I don’t know, seems like Marvel Legends has a lock on their crown for the foreseeable future.
  12. My full order arrived from Pulse today. I won’t post pics, you all know what they look like, ordered everything but the Colossus Juggernaut set. Truly amazing figures, every one. Love Ghost, Skurge and 80th Hulk. Hasbro is on another level. Back when the Justice League movie came out I was incredibly disappointed with Mattel’s offering and ended up getting Mafex Verizon for the team. I thought those were the highest quality I had seen in a action figure until Hasbro’s latest releases. And I get Legends at a fraction of the Mafex cost My classic avengers lineup looks absolutely amazing since they have pretty much all been released in this current level of quality.
  13. My Iron Man / Spider man set will be here on Friday. If you can’t find it use the email me when available option. On target.com btw
  14. The quality is there for sure. I recently got the latest DC Multiverse Samurai Batman wave and they feel kinda cheap and fragile. The best one they’ve produced in a long while was the Batman Beyond figure and even that was a little rubbery. The Lobo BAF falls apart at the slightest movement...I could go on and on. When I hold up any figure from the MCU 2 packs they just released and compare to DCMultiverse it’s like art vs toys. Mattel should be ashamed that a Luis figure looks and feels like such a quality product compared to their latest Superman figure.
  15. my target was telling me sold out for the ironman / spidey 2 pack so i used the "email me available" option. i missed the first email and by the time i used the provided link they were once again sold out. not knowing how it works i again signed up for the "email when available" tab. within the hour i got another email saying the the 2 pack was in stock. i followed the link and ordered two sets. this was last night and i already got a shippong notice. if anyone is having trouble, try this option. it worked well for me, just have to be vigilant with checking your email
