  1. BW is a fun movie, very much in line with the MCU. by that I mean, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before but the execution and new characters produce another hit for Disney. i too missed opening weekend for a MCU film for the first time in quite a while. It was all I could do to avoid spoilers until I finally got the chance to see it. August 10th is a bit of a surprise, just assumed we’d see the normal 5-6 month span between theatrical release and blue ray..
  2. Can’t wait to get the Big 3’s final suits. MCU figures are the real thrill for me ( although I love my comic figures too) and can’t wait to get all these Infinity Saga offerings. Just wish as others here do that he had a powered down head sculpt. Hoping I don’t have to buy him again with that head that should have come with him originally. Having to get that awesome Iron Man that will be his best version means I’ve got to rebuy him and Thanos ...again and that is getting old..
  3. This photo shoot really shows off the great sculpt of the figure. It was a great choice of body. That’s about all the praise I have for this figure, on one hand I’m glad that this and that MODOK set are the only Con offerings this year. Between Galactus and the Infinity Saga Sets Hasbro will already be getting a lot of my money. These Con offerings are money I don’t have to spend.
  4. Are you referring to Rama Tut ( Kang)? ..cause he was never Egyptian, he was always a white guy who traveled to ancient Egypt and conquered it. Besides the title of Rama Tut there is nothing indigenous about him. he is in fact a descendant of Reed Richards. So marvel isn’t white washing the character at all because he is white.
  5. This exactly. Especially with the fine work Hasbro is doing these past years, Legends is by far the best deal in terms of quality, durability and lately, variety. even with the price increase Legends will be my action figure fix for years to come
  6. Sucks these are all the Con exclusives we are getting. Ah well, my money will be going towards the Infinity Saga collection anyway.
  7. I also said what you are saying here but got an economics lesson from posters haha.. guess I brought up these concerns before the excitement died down and people didn’t want to hear it. i still agree, at face value, the Sentinel APPEARS to be a much better deal at this point. Cmon Hasbro, gives us some incentive!
  8. I said the same thing and people jumped to Hasbro’s defense saying they are good for it. Not really the point, what bugs me I’d that it seems Hasbro continues to hold out their hand without delivering the goods. Id have liked to see the Sentinel released before asking interested parties to spend more
  9. Wow these are great looking. Happy to stay with Legends, no way I could replicate my ML collection with MAFEX for the cost alone but these are amazing. That shiny red armor is a thing of beauty. I worry a little on that Spidey. People will want to get him into dynamic poses and from my experience, the MAFEX figures tend to pop apart if you move them too much. At least my Justice League ones do.
  10. This looks fantastic! Carol pulls off going full “Karen” nicely.. Bre Larson is a stunning woman and this is one of the best likenesses yet. Rescue’s “Pepper” head should have been included in the first release but glad to get it here. Look at that line up of strong women! Image that a few short years ago it was thought that women don’t sell action figures.
  11. Nearly 22,000 sentinels sold in the end, but the backer tally was over 23,000 at one point. wow, they killed it on Sentinels. I bought mine at literally the 11th hour. I was on the fence right up to the last minute but decided to bite the bullet. I’m pretty happy overall with my decision and the tier rewards went a long way in justifying my purchase. im spending the cash for Galactus regardless but guilt free ( buyers remorse) spending is always preferred.. hopefully SOMETHING cool I gets added as a reward
  12. I didn’t remember the goal being so low for the Sentinel. Only 6000? I see Galactus is over half way with 42 days to go. I’m sure he will reach goal. Anyone remember the final tally on the Sentinel? If Hasbro were smart, they’d show some stretch goals.. 14,000 is a LOT of world devourers.. maybe people would get inspired to buy if they got creative with their extras. I'm planning on buying, stretch goals or no, but seems 14k is pretty high a goal. So we’d get a figure only a few inches taller, $50 more, and likely less extras due to an already steep final goal. $400 for lights and sounds isn’t exactly a selling point for me.. I get the different circumstances between releases and whatever but standing a $350 toy that has all those extras next to a $400 toy with lights and sound.. you tell me what seems the better deal. I don’t know, at least their are few characters bigger than Galactus that they’d try to get us to buy down the road. Maybe if this one struggles to get 14k Hasbro would dial it down a notch..
  13. What about a Norris Radd pre- Surfer figure? that could be a fun tier goal and something Hasbro isn’t likely to make otherwise..
  14. Man can’t wait for this figure. Don’t know why so many $#!% on that cape, this is a thing of beauty. hope Walgreens gets their crap together and I can find him with out much hassle. thatvlast shot of the Scooby Gang.. freakin love it!! Need to steal that.. mixing two of my greatest loves haha
