  1. We celebrate Halloween in my household like Christmas, but it’s close. id love to see your XMas display
  2. This is my current Halloween display. Got to celebrate my love of horror movies and action figures the best way I know how. This is put together with Marvel Legends (obviously), NECA Horror figures, Extreme Sets Abandoned House, various pro wrestling accessories, food accessories from BBTS, miniatures from Michael's and some good old fashioned mod-ing and head swaps. Enjoy!!
  3. Yeah... not to sure the Fox XMen would make my shelf, although Hasbro’s high quality of late has changed my mind a few times once I’ve seen certain figures in hand.. Deadpool would be very cool though
  4. I’ve bought the Subway, Abandoned House and the Display packs. None of which were overly glossy but I do know what you mean, takes away from the immersion..
  5. Exactly, I thought I was getting a deal when I first looked at buying directly from Extreme Sets... until I got to the shipping. I balked at the $29 shipping. Ever since I buy Extreme Sets from BBTS and they qualify for the $5 shipping...
  6. Extreme sets range from $40 to $60 ish.. Hasbro could undercut that by a few bucks but have fans eating out of their hands on classic Marvel backgrounds..
  7. Is it just a head swap from the toy biz version? Wonder if the blond Peter Parker Head fits in the helmet and on the Ant-Man body?
  8. I agree that the Ant- Man we got wasn’t bad at all. I can live with the helmet but would take a more accurate one.
  9. Classic Power Man / Iron Fist Classic Nick Fury / MCU Nick Fury Swordsman, Mantis, and MoonDragon Dr Pym (red jumpsuit), MoonKnight (WCA version with gold accents), Wasp U.S.Agent on better buck, Jim Hammond Human Torch (unlit), Vinson on non phasing buck Trigon, Karnak, Gorgon Spiderman, Firestar, Iceman
  10. Would love a updated WereWolf by Night. In this same vein I’d like: WereWolf by Night / Jack Russell ( with terrified alt head, mid transformed head) Man-Thing / Ted Sallies or Beverley (? , think that was the lady who hung with him) Dracula / Hannibal King or 70s Blade Frankensteins monster / Zombie ( I guess to complete the old box set)
  11. Until your list I didn’t realize how many XMen still need to be done. Thought there had been more. Or seems like there had been more. Makes me grateful that so many missing spots in the Avengers have been filled over the years. Still have plenty more to be done..
  12. Also thinking outside the box but instead of plastic, they do cardboard like Extreme Sets does. I’ve used, configured, modified existing Extreme Sets backgrounds for Legends, and some are ready made for display cases. possibilities could be for a FF environment: Reeds lab, Negative zone portal, fantasticar launch, general area XMen: danger room, cerebro room, front gate with Xavier’s school logo, general area Avengers: war room, press conference area (to announce new lineup),stark lab, quintet launch area maybe sets for other classic locales like Daily Bugle, sanctum Santorum (with the famous window), panther throne room, law offices of nelson and Murdoch, Asgard, savage land, Attilan, Atlantis, etc... Extreme sets is doing good work, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy licensed backgrounds and with Hasbro’s deep pockets they could probably do them cheaper.
  13. So the entire 3rd EndGame wave dropped? I see many e-tailors only have Cap in stock and hoped that maybe that’s all the brick and mortars got when I found my Cap and IM.. guess someone beat me to the rest. Oh well, I don’t anticipate any being too hard to find
  14. Hahaha well played. Honestly glad there is fun to be had with this board!
  15. I found both EndGame Cap and Iron Man at Wal-Mart. I have been very critical of the Cap since he was first revealed but seeing him in package I allowed myself to hope he would be better than advertised. Overall great packaging and he really does look better than the previous release but..... out of package he is every much the train wreck I’d thought he’d be. Outdated hips, no wrist swivels.... head sculpt does look better however. IM is great but he really needs a battle damaged Tony head and a gauntlet that fits him. Guess I’ll have to wait for the inevitable re-release, hopefully in a three pack with Final Battle Cap and Thor..
  16. Careful using the word “finally” on this board... causes some to chuckle and eye rolls in others.. 😀 not me though, I’m glad you finally got a long anticipated figure.. it those little wins that make this hobby fun..
  17. Love the Avengers but not sold on any of the video game costume designs. This Iron Man is easily the best. Once the game comes out I’ll be changing my default costumes to something closer to either comic or MCU if it is an option. I get that, like the Spider-Man PS4 costumes ( which I also disliked) they are meant to be originals based on classic characters but I think the original game designs are a miss IMO. My guess is if they make more of these video game designs into action figures, years down the road we will look back on these as oddities in our collections.
  18. The blue really pops on the new version. I picked up one of these a few weeks back, great packaging. I’ll most likely end up displaying both, one with a Civil War display and one with an Ant-Man film display. Just two cents: I’m really hoping Ant-Man gets a third movie. Love the fun low stakes action and Rudd seems to be having a lot of fun.
  19. Forgive my ignorance but what makes this Deadpool different thanearlier ones. Not familiar enough to see any difference at all. Even looking online this one looks like one we’ve gotten before. Is it color? Pattern design? Retro packaging?
