  1. A few are now out of stock but thanks for the heads up, decon!
  2. The basic jist is: character redesigns happen (very often, actually), comic sales have mostly been trending down and Marvel worked to expand interest in its comic universe by creating more diverse characters and trying new things with older ones. Some succeeded, some failed, and now they're folding their successes back into a revitalized main line. How this all pans out remains to be seen. Regardless, if they don't try new things, they stagnate and die. I certainly don't love every idea they've had but am relieved they continue to look for new approaches to storytelling to keep things fresh and attract new readers so that this art form can survive. Also, and on a more basic level, when you look at all the different costumes and variants that so many of these characters have had over the years, her costume had remained basically unchanged FOR 40 YEARS. Like it or not, a revamp was long overdue. And if enough people don't like it, they'll change it back. I, for one, only cherry pick the 6" line but will be quite happy owning one of each costume.

    3 3/4" sighting and hauls

I would love to complete an '80s Defenders set with him, Gargoyle, Hellcat and Moondragon (I think we have everyone else) though it's not likely to happen now. :(

BBTS has them for $85. Higher cost per figure, but it's cheaper than a case from EE and you don't have to worry about unloading extras. Thanks for the heads up but it's already shipped out. I'll make the best of it. :)

EE just charged my credit card for the Jewel (JJ) wave. Really looking forward to getting rid of the repacks (sarcasm) but there was no other reliable way of getting this wave for a reasonable price. :/

    SDCC 2017

When the person said "both", I bet Dwight automatically assumed they meant 6" & 12"...I can't believe 12" is becoming a thing. Who's got the space!! Dwight specifically asked if they wanted 3.75" or 6". And it seems like a huge wasted opportunity to not have Giant-Man or any other large character in the 12" line. Gotcha - I was only going off what I'd read. With regards to Dwight I've been trained to expect the worst (or just absolutely nothing) when it comes to the 3.75" scale.

    Rainbow 3.75 Deadpool set

    Ugh, just no.
  9. Nah, if you look back at the first several waves of "Return of Marvel Legends" especially, they're exclusively comic versions. The movie figures gradually crept in as the films and tv series gained in popularity.

Guardians of the Galaxy 5 pack...

It's $50, but I wouldn't pay that unless you missed out on any of the previous releases. Gotcha - thanks. I'll wait to see if it comes down at some point in the future.

Guardians of the Galaxy 5 pack...

Stitch - what is the price on this set? I may have overlooked it somewhere but can't seem to locate the info. I no longer have a access to a decent TRU and am considering getting it off eBay but don't want to be terribly ripped off.
  12. Yeah, I get it, but you could still let members log in to discuss news items instead of making them start new threads in the forums. Just a suggestion. :)

Spider-Man set back up on Amazon for those interested. Passing on it myself.
