  1. I'm primarily an MU collector but the one Legend I want that looks to be forever lost is the Dani Moonstar from several years back. Still brings a tear to my eye...
  2. Yeah, it really should never have been made in the first place. Then delaying the release for a couple years? That's Hasbro for ya!
  3. Nice! Depending on the breakdown this might warrant ordering a case, something I haven't done in a while.
  4. Articulated Cosmo all the way, especially since the X-Men appear to have a stench about them these days....
  5. Received my Wasp and Giant Man from Amazon. Bad derp eyes on Wasp and lots of paint issues with the black markings on GM. Think I'll keep them boxed for now until I can hopefully find better versions to exchange locally. Bit disappointing.
  6. Found the Vulture wave at my LCS priced at $15.99 each. Glad I waited for HTS to list them as I would never pay that price for any of them.
  7. How funny would it be if Hasbro caught on that we've been getting sneak peaks at the SDCC exclusive on eBay each year and they leaked this out intentionally just to screw with our heads? Sounds about right. ;)
  8. Ouch - sorry to hear. Do we even know they're doing one this year? Seems to me with the current state of the line it would likely be the first of their usual exclusives to scrap. Hope I'm wrong but it's a little odd we haven't seen or heard anything yet. It also appears Mattel has no DC action figure exclusive, 6" or otherwise. The ML set looks great but it will likely be the only thing I purchase this year.
  9. ....not be Hasbro? Cheap shot, I know, but still.... 😛
  10. At this price point I think the line's pretty much in its death throes anyway. I don't think enough people are going to buy cases (like I used to) or even just complete waves the way things are going. They're just pumping out the last of the already-produced figures with a handful of new under-articulated ones. I'll be shocked if this line continues in its current sorry state more than another year or so especially if this price jack is real.
  11. Nope, not paying $14.99 for this crap. I'll stay patient and try to catch them on clearance or find them loose on eBay. Also HTS has Big Time Spider-Man listed as "Coming Soon" for $9.99, so....I guess we'll see.
  12. Any seller on Amazon can use the Prime shipping option and just mark up their item(s), so the price is likely to come down to $10.99 at some point in the near future. Just keep an eye on them and they should eventually drop. The latest ML waves have gone through the same thing: overpriced at $30-$40 initially and then the cost drops to approx. $20 per figure. Captain Marvel has jumped up to $30 but I previously bought her Prime for $21.99 (as well as Scarlet Witch) and the rest for $19.99. The 3.75" ones should follow suit before long so just be patient.
  13. Similar crappy quality as the TRU All-New X-Men box set. Shame, Hasbro. the X men box set with the ice man or the Jub baf wave? I have the baf wave on its way hope that is not the case. Paint has been pretty good as of late. But my goodness agent venom is just bad. All of them Box set. The Jubes wave has mostly been good from what I've seen. It's mainly the store exclusives that have quality issues.
  14. Similar crappy quality as the TRU All-New X-Men box set. Shame, Hasbro.
  15. Charrd - to answer your question rather belatedly, I found a single Agent Venom at a Midtown Duane Reade earlier today so it is possible for them to get them. It was with a regular Spider-Man (nothing else from the case) and I've been checking this location every other day, so I don't know if the rest were sold, are still in the stockroom, etc. You may have to pester an employee for help, which as you probably know in an NYC DR is fairly dangerous. ;) Good luck!
