Yay!
New Figures:
BAF:
Strong Guy
Lockjaw
Goliath (Clint Barton)
Professor X (hoverchair)
Skurge The Executioner
Stature
Stegron
Sauron
Sandman (better than Spider-Man classics version with sprawling sand base and legs alternative)
Aragorn (Black Knight's winged horse)
Dode, did you see that custom Sauron at Comic-Con? I thought it 2as going to be a BAF until Dwight Stall broke my heart and told me otherwise.

It's to the point 5his thing has become a feud! Civil War comes out the beginning of May. Apocalypse comes out May 28. A blatant attempt to clash directly with Disney/Paramount/Marvel. Only reason they couldn't get any sooner is because the prior weekend slots were taken up.

am I right in thining that the 4 finalist will get made it just that we are deciding which comes first?
I'm hoping so Tarot (with exception of Symbiote Spider-Man. As long as remakes and redo's take spots from potential new characters getting figures, I'm not with it), but what they said in the Hasbro booth is after the fourth finalist is revealed, an online vote for the winner will be held in the near future.

Kool! Also, I forgot to mention the Nuke figure fore wave 2.

where did you hear that?
Here at the Con.

I'm wrong about the Angela. At this point, she's only a finalist in the fan vot r along with Darkhawk.

The Hasbro panel revealed a Red Skull Onslaught BAF, a new Namor, Venom and Spider Gwen both will come with interchangeable heads. Darkhawk and Angela are finalists in the fan vote. They showed the beginning sculpt for a new Abomination that looks more like A-Bomb around the shoulders. A bunch of Infinite Series stuff.

Walgreens Ant-Man comes out on the 20th. Daredevil in September. The 4 pack in the Fall. We'll be getting Angela. She won the vote yesterday.

I told Dwight I think he's clownin' me and I won't believe there isn't going to be a Sauron until the Hasbro Marvel panel is over and it doesn't get mentioned. We'll see.

That is indeed a custom. Tony sculpted it and it looks like a BAF. I thanked Dwight for fulfilling a dream and he burst my bubble.

Also note that the diorama is of the 6" line this go round. It's been the 4" scale up till now.

And don't think this fact has been lost on Hasbro. In an interview with Shartimus Prime, Dwight Stal stated they've put out more figures than ever before, and later on, I made mention of it to him (I hadn't seen the interview yet) I told him I thought the number was around 80 figs since they started boxing them in the current format. I was wrong. According to DSmisth's list, I was off by 26. That is an incredible amount! This must've been what it felt like to be a Marvel Universe collector...only a lot more expensive! Lol. I love it!

Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.

OMG! I can actually do you one better! There are fools at the Hasbro booth complaining about the reuse of the "rubbery" batons! SMH. We may have to stop. By complaining about complainers, we're becoming what we despise. In fact, 8 daresay worse because there's so much complaining we're complaining even more about it! Lol

3 new legends have been announce for, I'm presuming, Captain America:Civil War legends
- Taskmaster- they use the Ultimate Spider-man design but it looks so awesome I don't care. Bye Bye TB version with you never stand right
- Classic Cap - well they had to have cap, at least it one people asked for.
- Mockingbird - Absolutely @@@@ing delight. not only was she on my list for the Ideal Cap Wave but see was one my top ten list. new Avengers and we can finally complete the West Coast Team!!!
That is great news! I'm on my way down there now. Already cannot wait for tomorrow's reveals. I'll be there early this time.

But...where is this "less quality"? They just came out with a new intermediate mold, female molds are better than they've ever been, and articulation has become nearly as good as the old Toybiz stuff. As to your statement about waiting longer between waves just so collectors' "wallets can breathe", well that just doesn't make good business sense. Hasbro is first and foremost in the business of making money. NOT giving customers who will impulsively spend their rent money just to keep up with the latest toys a chance to be responsible and NOT buy their products. If you need your wallet to breathe, then your course is very simple: DON'T BUY!!! You can't afford it, DON'T BUY!!! You don't get to put that weight on ANY business, never mind Hasbro! What you're saying is" Hasbro, please ease up on product release because my finances can't take it. If you release something, I'm going to buy it whether I can afford it or not. I need you to save me from myself". BOTTOM LINE: If you want them to "slow down", then stop purchasing. I guarantee you if enough people do that, they will slow down.My main complaint with Legends is that they obviously expanded the budget(possibly stole some from MI/MU, given their articulation cutbacks), but didn't properly use the extra dough. I'm okay with there being a few more waves of ML this year, but I think a few waves should've been held back as to:
A) Allow collectors' wallets to breath and get more cash, and
B) Improve the figures overall. They should've improved the paint or plastic on the figures, and not just made more figures. Pretty sure the standard Legends price right now is $21.99, so I think it would be better to get less figures with better quality rather than more figures with less. Just my opinion.
First things first: I do not instantly buy stuff. I do not need saving, other people do. Also, I hear a good bit more about QC issues as the waves go on, and let's not forget the travesty of the Ultron Baf's paint! The paint at Hasbro is decent when it's not riddled with QC issues, though, but they obviously can improve, and that is what I would like to see, rather than just a ton more that I hear are peg warming at the moment. More releases also means people can get tired of the same body molds a lot quicker, so that's another concern.
You're right. Other people do need saving. That's not Hasbro's job however. It's theirs. And understand this; I understand that urge to get these things as soon as they come out. When you have to compete with other collectors, the occasional buyer for their kids and most (and worst) of all, scalpers, one feels compelled to get waves as soon as they come out. I've felt that pull more times than I can count. I, myself eliminated that issue by getting cases wholesale, pre-ordered months in advance (I STILL) don't have the Ant-Man wave but I know it's coming). But I've noticed something that wasn't happening before. That being more figures are available more often in stores. I went to a TRU a couple weeks ago in the afternoon and the entire case of the Ant-Man wave was on the pegs. Meaning all eight! The Thanos wave was also there in it's entirety. I asked the person in charge of that section and was told they've (Ant-Man wave) had been out since the morning, and the "others" as he called them BEEN on the shelves. Keep in mind this was a Saturday...and no one bought any Legends?!!? Also three different Targets and saw complete Ant-Man waves there. My point is I believe Hasbro is attempting to nullify the scalper problem by sending more product to stores (either that or maybe people have already begun doing as I earlier suggested and not buying). Either way, if you look on Ebay, you would notice the prices there have decreased big time...with a choice few exceptions. Having said all that, what I'm getting to is it's easier to fight that compulsion to immediately run out and buy the waves, or at least the figures one wants. No need to spend the mortgage loot.

Well Gang, based off the offering's it does look like they're trying to build a Thor wave to me. I strongly suspect we're going to be getting an Enchantress regardless of the rest of the choices from the fan poll, which is why i think she isn't included. I'd be very surprised if we came out of this weekend without an Enchantress announcement
Dwight did tell me a Thor villain was in the offing.

I have some complaints which I believe have some validity, like Entertainment Earth charging $100 to ship a box to me, or the general process of putting out "exclusives" of characters that never see a normal release.
sorry dude but that price was not decided by hasbro but by Entertainment Earth
Exactly. I get my figures from EE (WHOLESALE) and that's on them. Fortunately EE serves up free shipping if you get cases [retail]. Wholesalers pay $10 for their entire order that's shipped same day.
Somehow you both thought I blamed Hasbro for EE international shipping?
That would be silly.
Sorry. Somehow, it seemed like you did. Misinterpretation on my part.

They will indeed reveal new figures every day starting tomorrow. Then on Saturday, whatever isn't shown in the cases will be revealed in the Hasbro panel.

Got em! Just copped the Book of Vishanti and Ant-Man 5 pack! Dwight told me another Master of Evil will be released. He didn't say who, but the conversation kept leaning toward Mr Hyde! We'll know what's up Saturday.

Just talked to Dwight. Venom will come with interchangeable heads.

Can we add a "greatest heart break" category? When I had my bubble burst about that custom Sauron, I couldn't describe my disappointment.
