  1. In a way, I can understand where you're coming from. It IS a very expensive hobby....ESPECIALLY if you're a neurotic completist like myself. For example, the 3rd Avengers wave will have Hulkbuster as the B.A.F. Not to mention the 2nd wave already has 3 movie figures attached to it (and I have to get them if I want to build Thanos). The Ant-Man wave is going to have movie Ultron as the B.A.F. Well if I'm gonna have all those, I may as well display em so that means I'm "compelled" to get the Amazon 4 pack when it becomes available. AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE MOVIE FIGURES!!! Lol. But the completist in me says COMPLETE! Like I said...neurotic!

  2. I wholeheartedly agree with you! I saw the Marvel Select Cable a couple days ago, and even though it looks great, the reviews I've seen have shown it to be lacking in articulation. Plus it looked as if it were slightly taller than Stryfe (they had a Stryfe figure in the store but I couldn't compare because Cable was out of reach). The question I've asked myself (and will ask the board) is what version of Cable would be like to see? Classic style? Current? Running change of both?

  3. honest;y i hope it take a while. they are all coming out at once. I don't mind Avengers 1 and Spidey 2 coming out at the same time as you could consider them different lines but having a second Avengers wave at the same time is just taxing on the old wallet.

DON'T I KNOW IT!!!!! I have both waves ordered from Entertainment Earth, And they're a month behind on wave 1 (as expected. They said that when it was up for preorder), but they're getting wave 2 this month as well. I just know they're both going to come at the same time. I'm just glad I have the loot set aside for both waves (2 cases each).

  4. Decepticon, I was of the same thought when it came to the movie figures (as I am not a fan), but here's the thing; the Ant-Man wave is going to have the movie version of Ultron (all 9 inches of him) and it's definitely movie accurate. I may as well create a display with him (it?) And the rest of the movie gang...which means springing for the Amazon exclusive when it becomes available. As for the Thanos height/size issue, I absolutEly agree that he is usually drawn as a massive character but the bottom line is he's 6'7. He's taller than Thor and shorter than Odin (who's 6'9). Putting the 3 figures together ACCURATELY demonstrates that. Some of us may PREFER him to be all around larger, but we shouldn't criticize Hasbro for (of all things) getting it right. Futhermore, check out early issues of Iron Man (the book Thanos was first introduced in). He was drawn "normal sized" then and for a while after.

  5. No word as yet. I believe they've made all the reveals they're going to until Comic-Con. As I stated on another thread, there have been at least 6 versions of the savage Hulk between Toybiz and Hasbro combined. The chances are that the next one they'll make will be the one they skipped. Marvel Now!/Indestructible Hulk. As long as characters undergo changes either to their appearance or costumes, Hasbro has been leaning in that direction. You know there will be a Sam Wilson Captain America at some point. Possibly an Odinson as well, not to mention a She-Thor.

  6. I think the 1st thing we need to know is who is(are) the villian(s) of the movie. I'm quite sure Ulysses Klaw will be at least one. Considering Andy Serkis looks just like Klaw prior to his transformation, it's almost a certainty. I also can't see a Black Panther movie not having Eric Killmonger in it. As much as I'd like to see M'Baku, the Man-Ape, I think he might be a little cheesy, but I once thought a Captain America movie wouldn't work because of the costume but shows what I know! Then there's T'Challa's half brother, the White Leopard. My ideal wave is as follows:

Black Panther (Movie) Not the figure I would want, but a movie version is a given.

    Killmonger

    Shuri/Dora Milaje

    Kasper Cole

Moses Magnum {George Perez version} (I admit I stole this from one of you, but that would be a great figure!)

    Man-Ape BAF

I didn't include Klaw because they came out with one about 4 years ago. Now if they were to retool and come out with a better looking one.......

  7. Not only have you guys come up with some great suggestions for waves, but the fact that you're even naming the swap outs is awesome! You killed it with the Stegron BAF! That would look so sweet!!! Funny you should mention Lockjaw. I just have this feeling that either the Inhumans or a Guardians of the Galaxy set will be the SDCC exclusive this year. Guardians to include a larger retooled (or Hyperion/Sentry) sculpt, and a comic version Gamora. Maybe some "original"/3000 Guardians like Yondu or Major Victory?

  8.

Try this on for size; How about an updated Dracula? Any old school Dr Strange readers may remember Strange was responsible for the destruction of all vampires including Dracula himself. The only version we have is the Toybiz "classic" look from the monster pack. That along with the (in my opinion) great Blade sculpt that we saw about 3 years ago would be fabulous! My list:

Dr. Strange (movie) I'm not a fan at all of movie figures, but I understand the waves are themed after the related films...plus there are peeps who do like them.

    Blade

    Dracula (modern)

    Clea

Umar (The trend has been 2 females so let's keep that going)

    Baron Mordo

    Brother/Doctor Voodoo

    Dormmamu (BAF)

I have Clea/Umar & Baron Mordo/Brother Voodoo as the "running change" figures. Thoughts?

I be honest I had to look Umar up. Also I don't think Baron Mondo and Voodoo would work as a swap as the trend putting 2 heroes together or 2 villians

Yeah, I considered that as well. I was kind of thinking about how their costumes were styled, but in the wake of Machine Man and the Sentry (who's costumes and body styles are completely different from one another) I guess that trend endures (of course one could argue the Sentry DID become a "bad" guy in the end). How about Dracula/Mordo? They both kinda have capes and are definitely bad guys! Lol. I really can't see a wave without either Mordo or Voodoo.

For any who don't know, Umar is Dormammu's sister. One of her greatest feats is that she "outlasted" the Hulk....if you know what I mean!

  10. What a hypocrite u are

Do me a favor and dont talk to me

    U are stupid.

Wow. 3 posts in response. Must've hit home. Yes everyone has the right to speak and say what they want. Here's the thing; just because you can do a thing doesn't mean you have to, or even should. So why don't YOU piss off because it's obvious YOU are the dumbass hypocrite who doesn't know anything...and if you don't want to talk to me, then let's see if you leave this alone, or if you just HAVE to have the last word.
