  1. **looks around suspiciously** yes....not play with our toys.... Right now everything is boxed in the basement due to reasons, but whenever I'm doing laundry, I like to get a couple figs out and pose them while waiting for a load to finish.
  2. For me there is no such thing as too much Marvel Legends. My wife on the other hand thinks that point was reached before we got married 7 years ago.

Recreating Onslaught saga 1996 using Marvel Legends

Love the pictures. Clever use of Iceman's display base.
  4. Love the review. I'm fine with the tentacles not having bendy wire. It's a play feature I can do without because any figure I've had since I was a kid that had bendy wire, it always snapped and ripped through the rubber. It is nice though that anyone with the Toybiz Doc Ock can use those tentacles.
  5. Forgive me if the question is stupid, but I haven't seen any pics or videos on the retro Wolverine yet. Are the claws removable like on the Juggernaut wave Wolvie? I eventually want to get him (especially for the unmasked head). But don't want to get him to find the claws are permanently attached.
  6. I wonder where my comment from this morning went. After looking up his art I have to agree with CobraSaboteur87 on using Tyndall for card art.
  7. Thing, my oldest always gets excited when he sees anything with him on/in it since they share the same first name.
  8. A lot of figures shown that I wouldn't mind getting. Last time I bought a comic was back when comics were included with Marvel Legend figures, so I don't know most of the people in the A-Force box set, but I would gladly get a bunch of characters I don't know to get a Sif figure. Heck, Sif alone would be enough to talk my wife into getting it for a bday or Christmas present.
  9. Definitely by line. If I'm referencing a checklist, it is always to figure out what gaps in my collection I need to fill. I catalog all my toys by line and if I reference a checklist that has everything separated by line, it makes finding the gaps easier.
  10. This but I keep them in a box not a drawer.
  11. My wife had to run out and pick up a few odds and ends. She grabbed me Ben Reilly, Beetle and Speed Demon from the Absorbing Man wave and Dr. Strange and War Machine from the Hulk Buster wave.
  12. Sweet. Thanks for the response. Definitely looking forward to it.
  13. Sorry to necro the thread but it didn't make sense to start a new one on the subject. Just curious where you are at with the stands in terms to making them available for purchase. Using Google, Magnus Stands gives me results for iPad stands. Definitely looking forward to these since my old McFarlane stands don't work with the Hasbro ML figs due to the shallower peg holes compared to the ToyBiz ones.

    Thanos BAF Wave Question

For whatever reason the Thanos wave Cap seems to be the hardest to get. I lucked out and found one online for I think $35 US. Went ahead and paid that price just so I could finally finish him(and am glad I did if he is going for more now). Hulk was the second hardest to find for me and I lucked out and managed to snag him for retail price through WalMart.ca (managed to show up there after a month of trying to find both him and Cap online for a decent price).

    Why do you collect?

    1. Marvel Legends, Transformers, GI Joe and Lego (Star Wars too but haven't bought anything new in years) 2. With Lego, I never went into a dark age growing up, I was buying the odd new set when I could save up money in high school. The rest all started thanks to the 200X MOTU and "new scupt era" of Joe Vs Cobra. And believe it or not, I was an adult education instructor at the time and it was a student of mine that got me hooked on the Joe and MOTU lines. 3. Don't want to know, but not as much as I'd like. I put the kids and wife ahead of myself (since last summer we've added an XBox One, WiiU and just recently a PS4) so I'm falling behind on what I'd like to get my hands on. 4. I enjoy it. I love tearing into the packaging, posing and playing. I have one of the Money in the Bank wrestling rings and do matches using various Marvel Legends, DCU, Legendary Comic Book Heroes, Toy Biz TNA and the few Mattel WWE figs I have. Need more breakable tables because I love doing TLC matches. I've been studying a guide on the Hiss Tank forums on building using styrene plastic and would love to try building dioramas with it since I have never had one I've done with foam core boards work out well.
