Comic shops that buy from other retailers are the same as scalpers to me. Yea, 20 of anything is a bit excessive. I was just trying to make a point.

I open almost all of the toys I buy to pose and display them. Very rarely I will buy an extra if it’s a favorite character BUT I absolutely don’t care how other people enjoy collecting toys. There is no reason at all to be arguing over this. You can buy 1 or buy 20, open them all or keep them sealed. If you enjoy what you’re doing, that’s all that matters. Don’t tell me how to do what I enjoy and I won’t tell you either. If you’re a legitimate scalper, then you suck. If you’re in a store at the same time as another collector and you have multiple of one figure in hand and the second collector doesn’t have any, it’s nice to share. Be nice, people.

Nice summary of findings! I routinely stop at about 20 Walgreens in the North Pinellas & West/North Tampa area every week. In the past few days I’ve seen almost every Walgreens receive a minimum of 3 Things, maximum being a full case. Same goes for Black Series General Veers. I’ve also noticed restocking of Mr Fantastic, but no Magik yet. Maybe this week?

Has anyone found Magik in a store yet? I’ve only seen them on eBay in California and Utah.

Before they were pulled from the site, it showed that all of my local stores had them in stock...will update if I find any!

Fair enough but I’ve seen Silver Surfer in at least 10 Walgreens in the Tampa Bay Area.

Silver Surfer is readily available in stores now so there is no reason to believe Thing won’t be as well.

I think the new Bishop is much better. The TB one always seemed to have odd proportions and doesn’t stand up very well.

Go to your local Walgreens and ask a manager to order one for you.

It’s already been found in some Walgreens stores. On top of that, I called my local Walgreens a few days ago and the manager told me that he could order Silver Surfer for me. It arrives to the store on Friday. Just ask the manager at your Walgreens. I imagine that they can all do it.

Aaaaand my Silver Surfer order was cancelled. But I’m still getting my toothpaste and mouth wash that I only bought to get free shipping. WTF

I ordered one this morning, it only allows you to buy one apparently.

I’m hesitant to do it because I’m sure I’ll find one and not have to buy two. Oooh what do I do??

I’d say it’s extremely unlikely that it doesn’t show up in stores though.
