  1. Not a fan of manbun modern Herc so decided to do a quick/simple revision to him to give him a bit of a more classic looking Hercules. Not the best custom of him but it'll do for me till Hasbro gives us a more classic Bronze age or 80s Herc in a vintage wave. And he's in perfect scale to all his fellow classic Avengers.
  2. Eternals were Kirby's version of his other creation, the new Gods, which are much better & have way better characters.
  3. Just got Herc today at my local wally world. Buncha ripoff artists trying to sell this on ebay for $25-$35+ w/o the BAF Thanos head. Figure. FYI, Herc is the perfect scale when posed with other ML figs. Namor is 6'1, Herc is 6'5, they scale perfectly. People need to quit with this BS bout him being too "small". Best figure in the wave. They had Nighthawk as well but I'll get him loose later on. I'm sure he won't be hard to find & will go down in price.
  4. Sersi isn't flat chested, then again, in today's comics, they want boy looking shapeless women, so why not.
  5. So now any actor/actress wants to jump on the MCU wagon & Hollywood has to comply? Last thing I wanna see on the pegs is Jolie action figures, bad enough we have figures of 70yr old actors on the pegs. So glad I don't collect MCU figs.
  6. Obvious all of you complaining about Herc being 'too small" are not comic book readers, otherwise you'd all know he's 6'5, not 7'5 & that the Wrecking crew was put on an outdated, outta scale buck that's over 10yrs old & was 1st used on the Warpath that came in the old Toybiz 2 pack wave in 2008-2010. So far, all of Hasbro's renditions of Thor have also been done on over sized outta scale bucks as well. The pic of Herc next to Cable is a perfect example of scale accuracy as Cable is listed as being 6'8, so he is just perfect in hgt nect to 6'5 Herc. And Thor is 6'6 FYI. None of the 4 Wrecking crew members is taller than 6'6 & that's Thunderball's listed hgt. Why some people keep insisting that these characters be giants is beyond me. My only beef with the fig is that they decided to go with his modern NOW look instead of his more classic & iconic 1st or 2nd app looks. And I coulda done w/o the manbun as well. I'll be slicing that off soon as I get him outta the packaging.
  7. Just Beast, Gambit & Forge for me. Might get Weapon X later on down the road loose. Same for Skullbuster.
  8. I'm just praying that the scale is not on the large side for both IM & especially that classic Thor, he looked almost Hulk sized in that pic. Why Hasbro continues to get the scale wrong on Thor is beyond me. He's 6'6 not 7'6!
  9. Only reason that comic based figs may "rot" on the pegs is due to the fanbase only knowing of characters due to the MCU & not the comics. Doesn't make the comic based figures bad figures, just the ignorance of the MCU based fanbase that causes them to stay on the pegs. I personally am only getting Herc & Nighthawk as the choice of Living Laser design they went with is awful looking & features no head articulation. Classic Living Laser is what I wanted, not that lite brite thing.
  10. You can also throw Nighthawk in with Hyperion & Speed Demon to form the evil version of the Squadron Sinister. Hasbro needs to start throwing in at least one member of the Squadron Supreme in future waves such as Power Princess, Dr Spectrum, Nuke, Tom Thumb, Blue Eagle. And before the "Herc is too short" crowd chimes in, NO, it's the other 3 figures he's posed with that are outta scale on awful outdated bucks. The Herc fig is in the perfect scale.
  11. And yet, you still have some people saying they still like the no neck Burger King looking Cheetos colored Herc. That entire mold should be dipped in sulfuric acid & the sculpter never allowed again to work for Marvel in any capacity whatsoever.
  12. Thanks. Yeah, the price point is the big negative for me. SH Figuarts, 1/12 Mezco & this line have some great figs but no way (BAFs are the exception) is a single 6' scale fig worth $60-$80-$100+ to me. Now if Hasbro were to make a 16' scaled highly articulated DOFP classic John Byrne Sentinel with light up eyes & swappable hands/heads with a buncha weapons FX accessories for $80+, I'd go for that & 2 more as they always hunt mutants as a triad.
  13. Shame that the vast majority of MCU fans have zero idea that in the comics the Hulk was always a solo player & was only an original Avenger for all of 1.5 issues of the comics back in the 60s. He was a member of the classic Defenders a lot longer than he was an Avenger. My 80th anniv Hulk will always be a solo player with the mindset of a child, going at it with villain & hero alike with an occasional team up with a hero if they are fighting a mutual foe.
  14. Wow. 1 company is taking over all aspects of what we view, see & hear & all some of you are thinking about is toys/movies? Ignorance is not bliss.
  15. I concur. Double joints on thin arms looks wonky & gangly. Just glad I don't collect MCU figs so this 2 pack is a huge pass for me & will more than likely be on clearance by summer. Those Quantum suits look lame & seeing everyone wearing it makes me think that most of this will take place in the Quantum Universe which I have zero idea on how that is gonna stop Thanos. Is the QU outside of Thanos power to control?
  16. Pin head Hulk! Wow, what a great decision to re-release something no one was asking for. MS Watcher is the most in demand due to him being in perfect scale with either MU figs or ML figs. But yeah, re-release an umpteenth Hulk & a lame one at that. Once I get that 80th anniv Hulk/1st app Wolvie boxset, I need no other Hulk fig ever again. That is & will be the definitive comic based version that I've been waiting for since 2002!
  17. When's wave 1 of Avengers:Endgame supposed to hit the pegs? I want just Herc & Nighthawk from that wave & I'm doing some customizing to that Herc soon as I get it!
  18. My top 3 BOEM wants are classic versions of Blob, Pyro & Avalanche to go along with Mystique & that classic Mags we have coming. The next Blob has to be a BAF as Hasbro will be going all out to top that great ToyBiz Blob which I stupidly sold off yrs ago for a bargain.
  19. Not about the source material, it's about making a munchkin version that looks all compressed & has arms/legs that can barely bend 45 degrees. Just one of the worst BAFs ever. Hasbro woulda been better off doing a comic accurate Ronin BAF instead.
  20. FF all the way. X-men have had more than their fair share of movies done, at least 10+ if I'm not mistaken. And they better do a CGI comic accurate Galactus & not a puff of smoke. A Silver Surfer solo movie is also long overdue. FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer was great IMO & that Surfer looked good!
  21. Too many to list. That happy meal looking Kree Sentry & 6 armed Spidey & Doppleganger being just the latest. I've seen Kree Sentry customs that are in actual scale & blow away what Hasbro phoned in. kree sentry.htm
  22. Huge pass on this lame Doom/IM mismatch. Someone lemme know when a classic Dr Doom is made.
