I would personally argue that figures of modern costumes coming out when they're no longer relevant is another of Hasbro's faults. I know that there is a process behind making figures, but if you compare Marvel Legends to DC Multiverse, I'm kinda jealous of how quick Mattel is (was?) to make topical DC figures.

Yeah, it is annoying to have a toy of a costume, that they aren't wearing anymore. Look at Laura's Wolverine costume (glad to have btw) but by the time they released it, LOgan was back and she wasn't even wearing that costume anymore. Yet the 3.75 inch line did get one out in time.

I should mention this but I'm not just talking bout the figures, they are just the 2 in the latest figure that people whine about not having a classic version, when they have been released before. Hasbro is trying to give us something different guys besides doing the same thing again.

it would be like doing the classic spidey on different molds and nothing but classic spidey.

But how long as it been, since the classic versions have been released...

Imagine they could (I really don't know ir that would ve possible) release a whole movie wave of X-men: dark Phoenix. It would be a disaster since they Will be launching a whole Wave of movie characters that un due time Will be one of the worst superhero movies ever.

X-men movie toys are unlikely to be made as heroes all wearing black bodysuits don't sell well

  4. A fun thread, with NYTF done a lot of new toys have been revealed, but still more that could be done. This is a fun and simple thread. Create your own Build a Figure wave. It can be based on any character or team/theme and you don't have to be limited to the current ewaves like Spidey, Avengers, X-men, etc. Anything goes as long as there is a BAF, 6-7 figures and some theme.

    Iron Man Comics Wave

    • Classic Titanium Man (BAF)
    • Silver Centurion iron Man
    • Modular Armour Iron Man
    • Guardsman
    • Crimson Dynamo (Dimitri)
    • Ghost (Classic comic version)
    • Mandarin (Armoured)
    • Spymaster (Sinclair)

Hasbro needs to start doing an Ironman based comic line. There are a ton of his classic enemies that have yet to be given the ML treatment & a few that are in serious need of a re-do as Hasbro just phoned in the T-man/CD figures. Their MU 3.75 Guardsmen figures were awesome & they need to upgrade those to the 6' scale using the Beetle buck. I'd army build those in a heartbeat! Where's a classic Spymaster at? We need classic Blacklash, Titanium man as the BAF & 80S version of Crimson Dynamo!

I would love to see an Iron Man Comic Line with BAF Titanium Man

Did they show any of the accesories that would be coming with some of those figures? Because the Spider-men are looking kind of alone... also, any word on the BAFs? Are those still gonna be a thing?

BAFs aren't going away, I'm betting they aren't showing any of them as there maybe Spoilers and The waves are complete. Also ones like the Vintage line won't have a BAF

Not happy with the doppelgänger. He should have been much bigger and have an ab-crunch waist swivel instead of the re-use of that 6 arm spider man buck.

The females are sooo thin and reuse the same buck!  why not use the more curvy Rogue buck on some? Still no double jointed arms?? smh.

Best so far is the X-Men Caliban set coming out soon, the 2 packs, and Hydro man in my opinion.

It was obvious that they were going to use the new Six-Armed Spidey for Doppelganger, it still loks great and reminds me of my old Toy Biz TAS figure
