  1. The review is very nice and I agree with everything he said. About the ranking of the figures from the wave I would only change Kane and Daredevil positions because this Daredevil is cool and all, but has a lot of flaws and the Kane figure is much cooler.
  2. The unmasked head is definitely the best feature of this figure. I saw some other reviews and people got better painted ones so I guess you were no so lucky. The hair to the side puts some dramatic effect but limits a bit which poses you can put the figure on. But what really bothers me and I think all are like this, is the huge gap in the crotch area. Tha is very ugly. Psylocke has that problem too, but this figure looks a lot worse. I think that they should not use legs so skinny because that would make it easier to hide or just fix the peg and sue a shorter one. In comparison I think the X-Force version looks better and the fact you can put the unmasked head on it is a plus.
  3. Another work of art from Mezco and unfortunately impossible to get. If I could have just one Punisher I would be happy. This is one of the characters that they do best.
  4. Hello Jay! This figure is just awesome! I love this classic look for Bishop. I am a fan of the Jim Lee era, so I am most familiar with this look for him. Like I said in the Omega red comment, these two were the ones that was most excited for and I really hope to get them someday. He looks just perfect besides Cable. Another must have for me. Since I'm not into the toybiz era and I have a special attachment to this look for the characters because of the comics and the cartoon, I will stick with him as the best out of the two. Sure he's simple, but effective and in keeping with the classic look for the character.
  5. Great review Jay. Man this is one of the most anticipated figures, At least for me. When I saw that they would make him and Bishop I went nuts. These two are the coolest of the whole wave besides de BAF. Omega Red is one of my favorite X-Men villains and looks awesome alongside Wolverne and Colossus. Now we need a new Mr Sinister and a Lady Deathstrilke.
  6. I know it's like stating the obvious, but Hot Toys likeness is astounding. These figures are like miniatures of the actual actors. Shuri is no exception
  7. This not even a collectible. It is a piece of art.
  8. I am not excited for these releases. Specially with SDCC like 2 weeks ago and that blew my mind. But in the end that will be more frequent ow. We got used to huge reveals and great figures. Once in awhile we will get disappointed. Maybe the res of the wave will be better.
  9. I already spoke my mind bout this, but I will say one more thing. What pisses me off about thing like this is the double standards. I the world we live today you are not judged by your words or actions, but by the crowd that you are in. If you are with the "cool kids" everything is allowed or even excused. Doesn't matter if you did it today or ten years ago. But if you don't conform wit the collective or are not progressive enough, you are out! Even if what you did "wrong" wasn't so important, it will be made bigger, because you are not "one of us"
  10. This figure looks awesome as almost every Mezco. But somehow I think that the Vigilante DD is more interesting.
  11. This figure looks even more amazing now. The only thing that I can see missing is an attack expression. The psychic mask would also be a plus, but a more expressive face definitely comes a long way. By the pictures you can put her in some crazy and cool poses and the articulations don't seem so bad
  12. I don't know why, but something tells me that we might see some X-Force and X-Factor characters. Maybe also a Mystique since she was hinted at SDCC. For X-Force I would guess Fantomex since the last one was so so bad. The BAF they will probably save for NYCC, unless they will go bold at the convention tomorrow. We'll probably see more of the new Spider Man wave also and maybe a couple more of the Captain Marvel Wave
  13. Both figures are very nice. I like Elektra better. I have to say again the female head sculpts are getting better and better. The Daredevil would benefit a lot from butterfly joints and this Bucky Cap mold is getting very outdated. So between the 2, Elektra is definitely better.
  14. I guess probably more X-Men. Who knows even the BAF, but that one we will probably see at NYCC.
