This looks like the marvel cartoons translated into comic books.

I really hoped that they have chosen an established director or someone already involved in the MCU movies. Let's see if this pans out. This thing of female leads must be directed by female directors is kinda of nonsense to me.

Shartimus is always so hilarious. I have great time watching his reviews. As always Hot Toys delivers. It's even unfair to compare this to any other collectible company. The only one that will even be close to this is the Mezco one. The other were very disappointing.
The only thing that would really make this figure perfect would be an alternative head wit the light up eyes.

I like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. although the beginning of the show was much better and they kinda went downhill the last two seasons. The addition of Ghost Rider of kinda nice, but the characters was not as explored as it could have been. This last season to me was one of the weakest. I hope that they get a better one at elast to end things on a high note.

To me these figures are only to admire and be stunned, The details are so perfect. The new uniform is interesting, although very simplistic. It would be interesting if they start making this a thing. Like concept designs for all characters.

It's another movie that we have high expectations. I really hope that Sony doesn't blow it. It looks very menacing and natural, like a real thing and not some CGI crap.
After SDCC we are expected to see new footage I guess.

After watching the review I can 100% vouch for this set. Is the ebst set out of the two. The Tesseract by itself it's awesome and the Red Skull figure is a plus.
It probably be sold out very quickly.

I watched the review yesterday and I got further disappointed with some figures. The Colleen figure is so poorly executed. Her head is way too high and you can see the peg from every direction exept from the front. She the lollipop syndrome and the hips are hideous with that huge gap.
Sure Danny's figure has a great hair sculpt, but the face is very off, but you can see it's him. But like Jay pointed out, looks like they took the inspiration much more from the Iron Fist Poster than the Defenders show.
Seriously, to me the coolest thing from this whole set id the box. You can definitely use it as a set for pictures and stuff.

These look neat! I am specially interested in the Eye of Agamotto! Looks dead on.

Humm Idk. These pictures didn't convince me to get it. Like, If I wasn't getting them before, I wouldn't change my mind now. Sure there are some good things, like the whole easter eggs and tidbits from all the shows, but the figures themselves are not appealing. Daredevil and Jessica are the best ones, but we've got them before and the previous ones were better. If it was a Matt Murdoch figure with the pulled down glasses and a cane would be a lot cooler. Jessica could come with a bottle of liquor or something like that. Luke Cage is missing the hoodie. The only two new figures don't have good face sculpts, the rest is ok. So, my veredict would be it's not horrible, but pick it up only if you really like the shows and didn't get any of the previously released figures. Compared to the previous SDCC boxsets, this one is not as cool.

Seeing all these pictures it looks even better. The price is not so bad, it's totally worth picking it up. The prop looks very solid and the figure would look very cool together with the other Red Skull/Hydra Soldier pack. Too bad that the First Avenger Cap is kinda hard to find these days,

Hey Jay!
First, awesome review. Well, this figure seems one of the coolest of the bunch. Great sculpt and the face paint is very nice. The disgruntled face suits him well. I guess the only bad thing on this figure is definitely the cowl/shoulder pads deal. They probably did that way to cut costs but if I had this figure I would cut off the shoulder pads and find a way to attach the to the shoulder of the figure without hindering the articulation. It wouldn't look so sleek and seamless, but when moving the head maybe it wouldn't look so weird. Also do something about the head inside Idk.
Anyway, it's another great MCU villain figure and we surely needed that one for our GotG display!

I am not huge fan of Venom and and it's been quite a while since I've read Spider Man comics but seeing this wave as a whole I think is a regular wave. I might be the weird one here, but I think one of the most interesting figures from this wave is the Typhoid Mary. Great head sculpt and paint, the overall figure looks very nice and well executed. Scream is also a very good figure. Venom and Carnage have the only good things on the added unmasked heads. The rest is mostly not new. The BAS is kinda cool, but I like the Space Venom way more.
I have the Marvel Select Venom and I would not trade it for that Monster Venom. I know is bigger but, you can put in your legends display. I also have the Carnage, but that one is just to out of scale even for a Select.

Compare it to the Marvel Legends one and there is no comparison...
Sure one is 20 and the other is 80, but this one is co cool. Is missing the cape, unfortunately. With so few accessories I wonder why they didn't include the cape. Amazing figure tho. They killed with both Thor and Hulk. Hulk is sold out and has a hefty price, but Thor is so worth it. I would pick this up if I could the two figures together would look great in any shelf.

This looks absolutely amazing. Iron Man's colors are red and gold usually, but any armor that is black and golds stands out for me. I only have an SHF in these colors and it's one of my favorite figures.
Sentinel makes great figures, but the price is not that great so I wonder how much it will cost one of these.
If I could I would definitely go for it.

This figure is very cool and the extra heads are a certain plus. Sure, the SDCC one has a more iconic outfit and if can pick that one also, go for it. However I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this one. If you wish to build up a cool set for the first Cap movie, is worth picking three of these and the SDCC one. But then there is the wallet issue...

This set looks great. The Yellow Jacket figure certainly is the best one, but the improvements made on Ant-Man are also to be considered. The only figure we had so far that was so screen accurate at a similar scale was the Marvell Select that I unfortunately missed and only the Disney Store exclusive had the unmasked head. Also, as much as I never dismiss an unmasked head in a figure, I'd rather have alternate hands.
Otherwise it's a great set and I would definitely pick this one up. We never had an Yellow Jacket and the Ant Man figure is very screen accurate. Too bad that the unmasked head doesn't fit into the new Ant-Man figure tho.

Certainly without him we wouldn't have Spidey or Dr Strange. As much as Stan is the genius behind almost everything Marvel, Ditko was as important as he is. He didn't get as much attention or recognition beyond the fandom or the artists collective. He also helped create other very iconic characters. This is a great loss indeed.

Well, those don't look so bad afterall. Bucky's face sculpt is waay better than the SHF one. I wish he came with closed fists. Too bad the weapons are not included. He had to come with his submachine guns. In that regard, he SHF release will be much better and definitely worth the money.

I liked the movie very much. Very funny and in keeping with the original one. Feels like a very natural sequel. Paul Rudd is great. The best on the movie, however are Evangeline Lily and Michael Peña. I usually don't like the comic relief characters because the only reason they're there is that: Be funny. But he plays a somewhat important role and at the same time is the funniest thing of the movie. Another thing that is very cool is the way that they go crazy with the sizes of things. They play it very well and when it goes wrong also makes it very funny, After the very heavy Infinity War, this movie it's very well put.
Overall I even dare to say that was better than the first one.

If you can afford it, buy it. This is a masterpiece.
This reminds me that we need an upgraded Marvel Legends Emma Frost. Maybe we will get one in the next X-Men wave.

This is a great piece and another good example of what a convention exclusive should be. Very cool to have, but not essential. The Red Skull figure seems very nice and you can buy like a few of the MCU figures and make your Hydra army. The Tesseract could also feature some sounds because if I remember correctly it had like a humming sound alongside the shimmering light. Anyway, it's a very cool prop.

Great review Jay. I am trying to remember which body mold this is.

Great review Jay. These new sets seem to be very nice. I collect the Marvel Select MCU figures and one that was kinda disappointing to me was Cap. Giving the fact that this comes with the unmasked heads and I never picked up the legends one, I'll surely try to get this one. I'm sure you can mod it and glue some magnets of something to attach the shield on his back. That would be a nice feature. Only the Meco figures have that feature and the rest rely on peg system. The Select one also has these straps and is very loose on the figure.
Also a little better paint on the unmasked ehad could do wonders since the sculpt is definitely there.

Avengers: Infinity War 1/6 Scale Iron Man 50 Gets A Boost From Hot Toys
in Marvelous News's General Area

Hot Toys had to come and just kick down the door wit booth feet. Damn. As of now, only SHF came any closer and they have to make two separate figures to achieve this.
