Agreed, but Hasbro is known for cutting corners with their variations. They will use previous molds as much as possible before they create anything new. Pretty much explains why we’ve had so many new lines released so close to each other. Expanded universe thanks to versatile body molds that can be used for various characters.

For Osborn they probably have to cast someone that is not too old. Mid 40s tops. RDJ is 50, but doesn't look like it. I don't know how old Tony is in the MCU, but I am guessing 40s.
Yea, they’ll likely cast someone who they can at least get 10 years out of. Being an action oriented role that demands a cunning mind will limit the pool of potential candidates that can bring new life to Norman.

Love the classic coloring scheme of the sentinel, really captures the look of the sentinels from 90s cartoon. Completely agree that the Wolverine head is garbage. That mold needs to be destroyed.

Toys r Us used to be the go to place for everything toy related, but they lost their way when they attempted to compete with Target and Walmart by diversifying their product in the early 2000s. Had they focused on their original model at selling toys at big box store prices, I think they would’ve had a better chance at surviving the current retail climate.
Multiple things contributed to the fall of Toys r Us but most of, if not all, stemmed from poor leadership and bad business choices. Amazon and other online shopping helped bury them, but all their wounds were self inflicted IMO.

Best thing is that they bough him back, but Sony probably will make like an impossible proposal. Easier would be if Disney bought the whole thing.
Willed Dafoe was a great Norman Osborn, but I’d definitely be interested in seeing a MCU version. They’d have to cast a great actor for the role to really capture the calculating menace of Osborn. If they ever bring J. Jonah Jameson into MCU, they have to get JK Simmons...I cannot accept anyone else in that role.
i know he was cast as Commissioner Gordon, but with the DCEU currently in flux, maybe he’d be open to returning to Marvel.

DD/Punisher have been my favs of the MK Netflix shows, Extremely disappointed with IF season II, they made Danny be a like a little b%%$# that couldn't handle being the IF & virtually begged Collen to assume the role. And that season finale "costume" she had on was totally laughable. And Davos was a little midget compared to the bruiser that Steel Serpent is in the comics. If they never make season III of IF, I'll be happy.
Yea, IF is definitely the weakest of the Marvel series. I struggle to get through the episodes, but power through because I want to remain aware of the happenings of the Netflix-verse. Can’t wait for the return of DD and Kingpin.

Awesome, I love the new costume design. It incorporates so many elements from various sources. I’ve heard the game is amazing.

I’ve actually made it a habit to wait out the BAFs now. I’ve been lucky so far, either Hasbro releases them again as an exclusive or I find them at a dealer for a reasonable price. I recently found the Toy Biz Onslaught BAF at a flea market for $35, which I thought was a great deal. With me collecting on a budget, I can’t afford to buy an entire line to get the BAF I want. Have to employ other tactics.

The first couple teasers and trailers were meh. But the latest ones have really managed to grab my interest. Completely agree that the art style is very catchy. Voice acting seems spot on as well. That has always been hit or miss with Marvel animated movies.

Agreed - their habit of rereleasing older figures and BAFs as store exclusives has been great. Their Walmart exclusive Thanos was even better than the original BAF.

So old man Parker in this appears to be Tobey Maguire Spider-Man. At the very least, his feats are inspired by him.

Really hope this gains traction, the closing of Toys r Us lost me a local NECA distributer and broke my kids’ hearts. Sad that kids today may grow up without having the opportunity to walk through a large toy store for their birthday or during the holiday season.

Yes, a MCU Sinister Six would be awesome!

Agree with everyone else, not sure why 3.75” line is still getting attention from Hasbro. The releases are sporadic at best and I’m always seeing them being clearanced out at retailers. It’s a shame too, because the characters and designs look great.

Wow! This figure is astounding. The details, features, articulation, etc. are beyond impressive. Even though is beyond my budget, I’m surprised it’s under $300.

Nice, I’m liking the suit. Has enough classic elements to be recognizable. Agree with @FASVB, fish bowl will probably be added in as an effect. Hopefully this Spider-Man continues on beyond 2 films.

Welp, the trailers, movie clips, and Tom Hardy worked. I’m going to see this when it comes out. At the very least, I’m hoping to see a solid depiction of Venom and Eddie Brock.

Understood, they kinda did this in Age of Ultron, except Hulk only had the expanding pants in that movie. I agree that it looks off and will probably look even weirder on Mark Ruffalo.

Ryan Reynolds was meant to play Deadpool just like Wesley Snipes was born to be Blade.
I’m not writing off Dark Phoenix completely, but that was a weak teaser for me. After Apocalypse, Fox can’t afford that. They need to capture the attention of their base from the start and build on it. As of right now, I saw nothing that would make me want to see this in theaters.

With the exception of not having a good Brock head, the Marvel Select Venom is still the quintessential Venom figure for me. It has great detail, decent articulation, and captures the classic and modern depictions of Venom. It even has the Madness attachments. All for about $30.

I think this is showing the emergence of the Professor Hulk persona.

Another awesome review, thanks. As stated in the other forum, these figures look great...but would A.I.M. really plaster their name all over their standard issue soldier rifles? Are they rebranding to stay relevant in this age of Hydra and H.I.V.E.?

I’m really curious and interested in learning more about this secret Deadpool movie. If it’s a legitimate full length movie, I’d love to know how they kept it a secret, especially in this day and age.

I'll get the Thor and Groot if only to add to my Marvel Select Thor collection. For some reason I always get those.
I haven’t had any luck finding info on plans for a Marvel Select MCU Thanos, which is a huge letdown. The Marvel Legends MCU Thanos in the 3-pack with Strange and Iron-man looks great, but having no interest in getting the other two, I couldn’t bring myself to pay $60+ for just one figure.
The Disney one was a welcomed surprise, it really captures his current look in comics. I lucked out grabbing one before they became scarce.

Hoo ha! The Black Order figures look fantastic. Ebony Maw was a treat in Infinity War. Really hoping we get to see them again in the sequel, either through flashbacks or resurrection.
Love the Caliban and Beta Ray Bill as well. Have to wait for pics of Bill to see if I prefer the new one over the Toy Biz classic design one.
