The utter drek that was the 2011 Green Lantern movie spawned a number of action figures, and this reminds me of the one called G'hu. Very different and unique.

Yes exactly really gives me 2011 GL vibes.

I might be way off but I think they can easily reuse most of this figure for second skeleton form of Absolute Carnage, maybe it’s wishful thinking but it can work very well.

  2. She's overpoweringly orange but it's still good figure and just joy to see double jointed female marvel legend and no spindly legs. I just don't know about sculpted fur it's so few and minor that you almost miss it and there's no paint detail to make it pop not sure it was worth sculpting when without fur this would have been reusable body mold parts.

  3. As boog said it's unfortunate that cape is not removable, logo could have been brighter and double jointed elbows would have been better but other than that it's very well done figure that we waited for way too long, only fact that sucks horribly is figure being walmart exclusive, why Hasbro couldn't give some movie version or variant to Walmart, does Walmart have such big knowledge about comic book figures that it requested comic book version? Or is it marketing team doing this knowing that fans will go crazy hunting for that?

  4. If they really wanted to go again with that Classic loki they could reuse Namor speedos with Chain Mail and sculpt it on torso, now that would have been legit reason to get this figure, seeing painted on detail for gloves boots and costume lines is fine but it's not ok  for something that is supposed to be three dimensional like chain mail. And speaking of Shang Chi, retro line could really use his comic book version with additional head and hand bands.

My most desired Spider-Man character now is a brand new classic Lizard. The fact that they have taken previous build-a-figures Sandman, Kingpin, and likely Rhino and re-released them on retro cards--and I'm especially focusing on the Sandman because they didn't just repackage him, they overhauled him. That's what I want from the Lizard. Chuck the inhuman dinosaur look; save that for Sssstegron. I want the Lizard more like how Ditko, Romita, Kane, etc. drew him. Some of this is favoritism because Lizard is probably my favorite Spidey villain and the figure shown below was my first Spider-Man toy back in the '90s.

Other Spidey villains I would like on the retro cards is a new version of Chameleon. In this case, I don't want him in the blue tactical suit that he wore in the animated series that they made a toy of in the '90s. I want him wearing the purple smoking jacket with the yellow ascot. I'm also all for a Tarantula figure that seems like a popular request these days. Bring him on. I also wouldn't mind another version of Doc Ock, but truthfully I only want new bendable tentacles.

New Chameleon is must, as well as Lizard with new head, while I would prefer smaller scale lizard because baf was way too oversized I can't see them doing new body, unless they can shrink baf somehow. As for Doc Ock, he got back into his white suit, at least according to covers of upcoming Spider-man comics, so this could be done with Happy Hogan body with new Torso and costume overlay.  Yeah bendable tentacles are must, I would even excuse inaccurate thickness if it means we getting them bendable.

  6. Very happy to see them reissuing Lady Loki, new Hammerhead, Shocker and Armored Spidey look amazing and much needed, but that red peg on Ben Reilly is literally all I can see on that figure, and I'm not even asking for pin less here, which would be welcome but they could easily paint red boot part under the peg and it would have looked way better without that red peg looking at you.

  7. This figure really makes you realize how outdated previous Body mold was, kinda makes me regret getting my figure, however thanks to older figure you get alternate head that works pretty good with that new body, although I really wish we had gotten pin less, we get so many pin less movie figures that have no reuse potential but the bodies that have tremendous reuse potential don’t get same treatment. I’m still hoping for that classic comics pin less Spidey,  maybe they can give that figure shoulders from Shang Chi figure. Either way this figure is still must get despite me already having Sandman wave figure and the fact we don’t have pinless tech sculpt and articulation is just tooo good to pass this up.
