This whole Rogue/Magneto situation makes me uncomfortable, poor Gambit... Never liked that in comics as well, it's weird that in show that is more for modern sensibilities they brought in this pretty problematic plot line that comes out of nowhere, Rogue has to be in her early 20s at least and Magneto in his mid to late 50s...

This All star characters line is a really smart thinking for general audiences and is a good way to popularize the line. I think they should also do not only the all star movie line but a comic line as well, classic Spider-Man, Cap, Iron man, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk. These classics versions of most popular Marvel characters should be evergreen, cheaper, widely distributed and easily available, so in a way they act as "getaway figure" to get new fans in, who might not be too tempted to track hard to find and expensive main characters like Spidey and Hulk, and its the main character who are the foundation of any collection and only then it tempts newbie collectors to get other figures of lesser prominence.

This figures is such an improvement in proportions, makes you wish this was the Ultimate Cap instead, it's even more shocking they put so much effort into this.

It does feel cheap to see that old Wolverine mold when we are getting so many pinless Wolverines, I get they need to cut some costs here and there but pins on that Wolverine arms (like all other figures) are all the same length so we get horrible looking holes on Wolverines arms, they dont fit properly due to this cost cutting and simplifying measure, this is why in case of Hasbro pinless tech is such an improvement.

Do the lines on Zemo’s hood look sculpted or painted? Some images make them look sculpted others look painted?
It looks to me there's sculpted lines that also have paint in them but it seems like paint didn't properly align with sculpted lines and it makes it look like there's only painted on lines.

This Sabretooth is still great besides issues I have with him, such as oversized head and short upper legs of Omega red buck, this could have been perfect if Hasbro fixed these issues but as it is positives outweigh the negatives. But something tells me I won't be able to get him for retail.

This looks truly great, new arms and legs make this figure so much more pleasing to look at, previous figure suffered a lot from blocky sculpt of pizza Spidey arm and legs but now it's finally well sculpted, head is also pretty well done, I just wish second head had a different hair sculpt for variety, as it is they are way too similar heads.

This new head sculpt look so inferior especially when you see it next to VHS and Comics versions, and it's not like the animated style is bad or anything, it just super soft and wonky face sculpt, which is only new thing about this figure.

Mafex Venom looked pretty good but he was way too small, which makes good sculpt pointless unless you have the figure by itself without any other mafex figures. If this reissue was the exact same figure but 20-15% bigger than the og, it could have sold really well.

If they were already going with the new cape for Dr. Strange, they should have tried doing homage to animated toybiz figure and replicate that thick bendable cape, it would have been cool gimmick for sure but obviously not a necessity.

I think one thing they could have done to get Goblin Queen on next level would have been them hiding thigh cut by fully inserting leg into her thigh high boots, yes it would have been hard to do but figure would end up so much more aesthetically satisfying.

Agreed they really messed up with Jean Grey's torso articulation. Overall sculpt is also pretty weak, I feel like 3-pack Jean for all its flaws was more interesting figure sculpt and paint wise. I wonder if I can give arms from 97 Jean to 3 pack Jean.

This two pack would be amazing but I think it more possible we get Deadpool/Copycat two pack due to Vanessa being in third movie, but 3 pack with Domino included could be even better idea.

Not the Goblin Queen I wanted but it's a great looking figure nonetheless, I'm shocked they gave Magneto all new arms with sculpted long gloves, I think everyone would be happier if Hasbro invested into new arms for Ka-Zar without ugly glove lines and Magneto with painted on long gloves.

If they re release Sabretooth they should go with smaller head, headsculpt we got is great and superior to previous ones but it's a bit too big, 10 percent smaller head would make this body stand out and more imposing, Mondo figure got that idea really well and to the great effect. I wonder how Toybiz head might sit on that body (with help of Dremel too of course. But I think it more likely to get cartoon style head if there's a rerelease.

I find it funny that their Wolverine is bigger than the Legends one but every other Mafex figure is obviously smaller than ML scale figures.

Ka-Zar will sell a lot due to people trying to make ML custom Conan figure, add some bracelets, necklace and paint his hair and eyebrows black and you have super articulated Conan in the easiest way possible.

They have really strong line of figures for this show. Archangel is majestic but painted on gloves and boots with cut lines do cheapen him, another good reason why they should have given Vision new sculpted arrow shaped gloves and boots, that would have serious reuse potential and give many figures premium feel.

Fingers crossed that Target exclusive Black Widow will follow the suit.

It is weird we haven't gotten a single teaser or even trailer, I wonder why? I heard that visually it won't be a traditional animation but rather modified what if 3d style art.

From promo pics it looked like Cyclops had lolipop syndrome thing going on but I wonder if it's the case on the actual figure, sadly, so far promo pics are good indicator of final figures, like how assassin Spider had weird hips for some reason.

I hope they re release Immortal Hulk soon, that figure is literally incredible (pun intended) and fantastic value for the price it was.

Aside from few amazing episodes like Dark Dr. Strange, Zombie one and Captain Carter one, series is the definition of mediocre.
I think season 2 was far weaker than the first and yes it's good to have some funny episodes here and there but this series skews way too much towards kid friendly and comedic stuff and misses whole point and spirit of What if comics, where majority of stories had a pretty dark and bad endings not "they lived happily ever after" type of endings, that's what made What if comics unique from regular comics, this risk aversion makes this tv series incredibly boring and even less memorable than any what if comic. I read there was some plans for Spider-man meets Children of Men episode and that would have been amazing but it was considered too dark...
1602 Episode was straight up mockery of brilliant Neil Gaiman story that was turned from creative and layered tale into some silly Saturday morning Disney channel special, so I'm not sad that season 3 will be final but I gotta give them huge respect for having Kahhori episode be fully subtitled, this is how it always should be when it comes to scenes where there's no logical sense for characters to speak modern english.

New Black Panther Video Game Coming From EA
in Marvelous News's General Area

Hopefully the gameplay won't disappoint like it was the case with few previous Marvel games in past, Midnight sons had great cinematic but gameplay was for the very specific even niche audience. I have a gut feeling this game is the higher end version of that kinda good but generic Cap movie game from 2011.
