Great figure. Klaue is one villian who was great in the MCU and I think very under used. This is probably the only figures from this wave that I'll be picking up. The rest of the wave, save for the BAF, is really weak.

Marvel Legends 6" Captain Marvel Alternate Head Revealed
lotr52 replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
Great wave and I'm looking forward to picking these up except for the Captain Marvel with bomber jacket. I mean that just feels like a lazy way for Hasbro to cut costs. All the other figures are must haves in my opinion but that Captain Marvel really kind of bums me out .- 48 replies

Defiantly liking how the Captain Marvel wave is shaping up but I thought I saw somewhere there were 7 figures in the wave. Could be wrong or maybe it was just speculation. Anyway, I don't see one weak figure in this lineup Grey Gargoyle, Genesis-Vel and Kree Sentry are all figures that I have wanted to see for awhile.

New Marvel Legends 6" Puma and 6 Armed Spider-Man Revealed
lotr52 replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
So glad to be getting a Puma figure. Puma was one of my favorite Spiderman villians/ anti hero, along with Prowler, when I was a kid. Bummer about the articulation on Six armed Spiderman but I don''t know how you would put an ab crunch on a figure with six arms when the arms plug in where the ab joint would be.- 74 replies

1. Gray Hulk - Hasbro has yet to release a Good gray Hulk, the one from the Fing Fang Foom wave is to small to scale with other figures. 2. Caiera - From Planet Hulk never been made into a figure. Planet Hulk is one of my favorite Hulk stories. 3. Thunderbolt Ross - Major part of Hulks story and never been made into a figure 4. Leader - Great villain, cool look. Nuf said 5. Doc Samson - He was always one my favorites. 6. She Hulk - Only including this to have a remake in here. Otherwise I would be fine skipping her since I have the one from the A force set 7. Professor Hulk - Not a huge fan but it was a pivotal part of The Hulk story for years in the 90s. Just reapint the Avengers 2 Hulk body with a new Headsculpt/ BAF - The Maestro - One of my favorite Hulk Villians in need of an update figure with a brand new sculpt. This was a hard list to come up with. I had enough figures for at least 2 more waves that I considered putting on here. Wish Hasbro would actually do this even if it was a special realese like the MCU 10th Anniversary figures

Great review Jay C but I have to say that this is the weakest 2- pack I've seen in a long time. No new figure, not much new in the paint apps and weak accessories. This is nothing but a cash grab from Hasbro. With everything else released this year its an easy pass for me

Love DST MCU figures they always blow away other lines with the paint apps and details. However I have to agree with folks on here who say the Iron Man figs are always a little on the short side. Still a must own for me with all the accessories.

The Making Of Marvel Legends Hercules
lotr52 replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
Really interesting video. Never realized how much hands on work went into making a marvel Legend. -
I don't know, this set feels like a pass to me. Both figures are repaints and the original paint job on the figures look to be better. Even the accessories are kind of lame. I have plenty of those lightning effects and web effects laying around

Funny skit. Love Tom Holland as Spiderman. The new suit looks cool I like the red fingertips on the gloves and the way the spidey symbol looks on the front and back. However i really don't like all the black in the costume, it just makes it look to dark.

2018 SDCC - Hasbro Marvel Legends Official Images
lotr52 replied to Wheel-Jack's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
Kind of a mixed bag here for me. Love the kingpin BAF but not really digging the rest of the Spiderman Wave. Love the Archangel GS exclusive and but the rest of the Xmen wave so far is a let down, never was a big Magik or Gambit fan. Although the Days of Future Past set looks cool, I have that sentinel figure on my shelf already from its Marvel universe release but I'll probably wind up picking that up anyway. Sentinels are badass -

2018 SDCC - Marvel Display Friday Update

I like that Hasbro is placing easter eggs in their displays for future reveals. I don't remember them doing that at past SDCC or Toy Fair events though. Is this something new? -

Deadpool on his scooter wins the weekend. M'Baku looks amazing as well. -
Great Review Jay C. Doc Ock is a personal favorite of mine. Love the look of the figure and he scales better than my Toy Biz Doc Ock. I will say it is disappointing that the mechanical arms are not made with bendy wire but since I have the old Toy Biz one its great that I can use those arms on this figure. I really hope the next spiderman wave has a classic Vulture so I can complete the original sinister six

I might be in the minority but I loved Yellow jacket in Antman ans I'm stocked to get this figure. Agree about there being to many antman figures but I think I like this Scott Lang head sculpt better than the Cul Obsidian wave

I told myself I would pass on this since I already have the single card Red Skull on preorder and that figure looks good. But seeing these photos, especially SDCC Red Skull next to a Hydra soldier, now I think its a must. Plus the tesseract will look cool on top of my book case.

Great Review Jay C. Great figure and one i have wanted since the first Guardians movie. Kind of a bummer about how the shoulder pads are attached but the face sculpt and the look of the figure still make it a must buy.
