  1. I think a separate faceplate instead of a headsculpt would have been more appropriate for Pyro. Hasbro experimented this with the Hoth Rebel Soldier in the SWBS, and it worked. Another headsculpt would warrant either a maskless head or another rendition of the character, not just a new facial expression, IMHO.
  2. Here's hoping the rumors are true. I just wished, since this is a troop builder, for Hasbro to release this not just in singles, but either in threes or fives, at a lower cost per figure if you get the bulk-packs. And a nuanced paint job to somehow differentiate the figure.
  3. If you're not into Punisher, then this is a comic book Negan in the works. And give the sub machine guns to your regular release Snake Eyes!
  4. Hasbro could've had the pirate hat removable. It would've been a cool accessory for kitbashers and customizers.
  5. Yeah, Sunfire would've benefitted with flame accessories. Even re-used from Human Torch and/or Iron-Man. I personally would've wanted the accessories more than the BAF piece. Similar to having a figure included in the wave without the BAF, like the 6-armed Spidey from the Kingpin wave.
  6. He's just begging to be a custom fodder. A multiple "expression" faceplate might have helped this figure, similar to what TBS did for the Hoth Rebel Trooper.
  7. These are just re-releases of somewhat "low demand" figures. With Hasbro having done multiple iterations of Marvel's heavy hitters (I'm looking at you Wolverine!) there are less versions that they can do, and they're going to the more obscure stuff (Deadpool's wife, anyone?). It's time we get players or dioramas to complement our horses Marvel Legends figures!
  8. Good luck to everyone and spend your $100 BBTS store credit well! Unfortunately, BBTS is currently not shipping to my part of the world. Just my luck. Ha ha!
  9. As Mando once said, "I need one of those." The jet pack opens a lot of possibilities for other figure accessory, especially since it got straps instead of a peg, (Yo Joe, anyone?)
  10. During this quarantine period, it'll be best to fund the HasLab initiative. It's no different than pre-ordering our favorite toy. We just need to keep faith enough will want it, in time, for it to get eventually made!
  11. Hasbro shoud've gone with single jointed knees for the Cockoos, similar to how the Japanese imports does it for their female figures. The knees are quite unsightly.
  12. Storm is practically a repaint of the Vintage Series and the Stepford Cuckoos have the "Mary Jane" head used for the nth time with varying hair scuplts. I think, for the latter, it's the new trend: New Head Hair Sculpts! Is it me or is this just an easy cash grab for Hasbro. A bit lazy on a convention reveal, IMHO.
  13. How I wish ML can do alt head sculpts (standard and action oriented) like this Sideshow statue. It'll truly enhance posing action figures everyday!
  14. This is one amazing toy set, but this is where the accessory shines more than the main attraction. Unless, Lockjaw is the main toy here.
  15. Great set for people who missed on the original versions but kitbashing and re-releasing such figures is a pure money grab from Marvel, IMHO!
  16. I guess that's the corporate equiivalent of a promotion for a job well done with running the MCU. Whether he'll be good at holisticaly running Marvel in all aspects, only time will tell. But I think, he has enough talent pool to help him with his Marvel reigns.
  17. MLs have been getting better at their sculpts. Especially the head sculpts. But, do they have to re-do the MJ face sculpt, (I think this is the first time I saw it with; please correct me if I'm wrong) over and over again with different hair to make new female characters?
  18. Reminds me when I was collection the Justice League Animated series figures, but with better articulation!
  19. You have my deepest respect. As a fellow toy collector, I know how we often splurge on our favorite toys and forget that as a hobby it sometimes need a bit of restraint. Though the "compulsion" is near addction, this act reminds us to focus on prioritizing on what matters most in our lives. Its the adult thing to do. Good luck on your endeavors. But never say never. Situations change and there are still a lot of toys to get along the way. Hope to see you back in the future!
  20. This is awsome! I can't wait to see this in the Manila. I failed to get early the War Machine Mark 2 from the movies by SH Figuarts, but this will be a worthy replacement for consideration.
  21. We often forget that movie-making is a business and parties of interests (this means you Sony and Disney) try to get the best deal in any partnership. Though that's not bad, but, it's not great either for the fans to see all these boardroom dramas.
  22. I just feel that Bandai droped the ball on this one. Not only is the body a bit stocky, the head, though ok, does not look like Boseman. Good luck ordering this since this is a web-exclusive. I still consider the first SH Figuarts movie-based Black Panther to be the best, IMHO.
  23. The Cap & Peggy Carter is a good set. The extra Steve Rogers head has a lot of customizing potential, but the photo real head of Peggy Carter seems a bit off. Hope they capture more of likeness when it's released.
  24. I'd probably think this through and scour the site for worthwhile action figures. But the SDCC exclusives Captain America & Peggy Carter or the Iron-man Mark 50 & Iron Spider is a good place to start!
