  1. Beautifully captured, and one of my own personal favorite character interactions to recreate. It's appeared in so many comics and on film now as to be truly iconic, and you capture it superbly Rakanishu!
  2. Reads like music to me! I and my wife thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Strange in the 1st round, it was great story and visually innovative with its cinemotography and magic sequences. Really excited to see how they expand the character, the power of sorcery, and hopefully explore the pending dissonance with Karl Mordo.
  3. Sweet giveaway yet again Marvelousnews! Thank you for continuing to do these, it's a great gesture and is hopefully building the community.
  4. This trailer was perfect. It was character focused, vice event focused. It kept things grim until the very end with Scott (the comedic and unseemly ray of hope), and that's the way it should be, so that we are left as an audience properly where we should be when we retake our seats for the back half of this epic two parter. I like many, am interested by why Nebula and Tony end up separated. Did she try another route, and abandon Tony in his sleep (I think that's whose shoulder she touches with regret and/or guilt as she departs to try to find her own way to finally kill Thanos)? I also think Cap looking with despair at the compass pendant of Peggy may indicate that Sharon Carter was lost in the snap (or decimation). And what was that winged thing flying through space? It did not appear to me to be the Guardians' ship...seemed to have a slimmer profile. Is that a person with wings? As another poster said, that scarecrow Thanos, direct from the comics, was a beautiful homage and piece of symbolism for an abandonment of old ways. Very excited to see the band all come back together and realize Dr. Strange's vision! 5-ish months to go guys and gals!
  5. I have been eagerly anticipating this Magik exclusive, since reading Battle of the Atom this summer, my first exposure to her as a character. I have considered this a must purchase, but I have concerns on accessibility. In my region's Walgreens I have seen no surfers or Things, though I have picked up a Thing via business travels. I certainly hope Magik is a different story regionally (as I do Mystique when she finally starts rolling out).
  6. Holy cow, I am all in on that X-Men wave w/ that Beast announcement and reveal!!! I was hesitant, only really interested in Jubilee and Weapon X...but liking the others. Beast seals the deal though. Everyone, no matter their tastes, has to love at least 3 of these and be satisfied w/ the rest. Definitely a full case purchase, just like w/ the Apocalypse wave! Great work Hasbro, just kudos to you.
  7. Oh americamgl, I am definitely getting the comic three pack with the Witch QS and Magneto too...but I really want another chance at the MCU 2 pack to have that scene btwn them and Thanos at the end of Infinity War in Wakanda on my shelf. The classic Cision is a gorgeous figure too. I am tempted by that one, though have tried to adhere to some rules on what Legends I purchase (started as an MCU only guy, then grew into X-Men, and now am considering expansion to core comics Avengers...so I guess classic comic Vision would be ok?!)
  8. The REAL question is this: will Amazon get any leftover MCU Scarlet Witch and Vision 2-packs?! Now THAT is something that I'd drop a 45 spot for w/o a 2nd thought, considering the post bankruptcy scarcity.
  9. I agree with everyone here who essentially label this mold as 'cartoony'. That is exactly what it is, and while I do own a Marvel Universe one, that is simply because I found it at extreme discount. I do feel that DOFP Wolverine is excellent, but not incentive enough to shell out 100 bucks for this Sentinel mold. Wish they would do a Red Onslaught in this scale from AXIS...I might pay $100 for that, w/ the AXIS Iron Man or Magneto included.
  10. I tend to agree with the premise of a false demand, however Amazon may legitimately be suffering from some sort of post TRU warehouse liquidation distribution reflective of the well known TRU distribution problems over the past 20ish years before they finally imploded. That is l, they could be getting them in trickle like waves of deliveries, because just like TRU warehouses sucking at filling their old stores, they can't get them to Amazon distro centers in reasonable numbers. Neither false demand or legacy TRU associated distribution would surprise me.
  11. Yet again Marvelousnews does it's part to incentivize community, which is genuine and awesome in terms of the reward they provide to the lucky ones. With so much Marvel Legends product alone, between the MCU 10th Anny and regular waves, it is truly a blessing for those selected!
  12. I am excited to see this, and will be there on opening weekend. I thought the younger mutants in Apocalypse were what made that movie decent despite the MCU purists claims to the contrary....well, the young mutants with the always show stealing Fassbender Magneto and Quicksilver scenes! I like Sophie Turner as Jean, who I always interpret as over serious and as acting beyond her years in comics, which is I think what Turner has delivered. Seems like Chastain is gonna represent some element of a Shiar like entity in this...excited to watch it, but I really hope it leaves no dangling chads that Disneys ownership is going to forever leave open ended!
  13. Marvelousnews is awesome for offering these opportunities! As someone ekse mentioned, I have yet to see most of these thanks to American retailers' distribution schema (I no longer blame Hasbro, its gotta be careless Toy Dept managers). Anyhow, I am dying for that Deadpool wave. I have seen all but one of the Venom wave in person recently, and it looks good. The packaging for that wave truly does make it stand out. As for the SP//DR wave, there are some soon to be classic Legends in there methinks. Bottom Line: Hasbro is nailing it since mid 2017, and I am excited for how the rest of 2019s waves shape up!
  14. Totally agree with FASVB and the reviewer that this outfit is totally worth the purchase, but that a huge specific plus is the Laura unmasked head included, which like everyone else apparently, I intend to place onto my X-23 figure from the previous DP wave. Also, on a related note to the review: Hasbro's QC in these post Infinity War waves seems to have fallen off dramatically...I got a Magneto w/ no unmasked head packed in from HTS. That and paint apps being so poorly applied are going to have some impact on the line if not unchecked going into 2019 and the expected price increases.
  15. Congrats to GojiBill and Gmen4ever! Those are some great waves...enjoy!
