  1. Excellent photos...but is sure would be nice if anyone could find the MCU Vision and Scarlet Witch TRU exclusives to be able to recreate this scene for anywhere under $80. The ridiculous price following ridiculous scarcity of that set is extremely limiting to being able to do exactly this scene in most of our collections. Please Hasbro, a rerelease is our only hope.
  2. Just a beautiful recreation, and just the scene I myself have been waiting to achieve on shelf! Beautifully captured too, in terms of the lighting to highlight the details and mostly dark colors in vibrant fashion! Kudos to NikolasMorningstar. Wish I could get my hand on this two pack that made it possible, as well as on Ebony Maw to round out the background! ; ) Cant wait for Corvus, Glaive and that coloration of Loki.
  3. I totally agree with hisDUDENESS...I was totally in the zone upon viewing this trailer. And yet, Marvel Studios and team Russo still do a great job limiting much of anything in the way of substantive plot revelations. The Tony in QR suit is about it (revealing that he must escape his drift in space)...and the fact that this means he and Cap must finally have had a reunion. I look so forward to that moment, left hanging since the Maw and Cull Obsidian interrupted his call in NY! 26 April simply can NOT get here soon enough!
  4. I will likely be in for this set, simply because of the armored Thanos and also because I suspect Ebony Maw will otherwise be EXTREMELY difficult to track down, and I will predict reaches $45+ on the secondary market within a month of release. That being said, I have to concur with the general frustrations being espoused widely regarding this particular wave. Namely the mixed bag of critical MCU Avengers paired with much lesser known comics figures, the suit selection for this Cap, and the concern that that Thanos will just be released again later...I tend to think we will see this armored version of him and the whole of the Black Order with a revised, screen accurate Cull Obsidian as either a convention or Hasbro Pulse/Online retailer exclusive for the holidays. I am interested in that Living Laser though...he just looks neat and I have that Black Panther wave comics Iron Man that I think he'll versus with well. Oh well, I'll live with the rest for the Maw, Ronin, Living Laser, Cap and Thanos. You got me again Hasbro!
  5. I got one finally, thanks to tour post Jay, so thank you! Can't wait to display her next to Magneto and the kids from the pending Family Matters pack.
  6. Good review by Jay, though I think from previews alone that the grade may be too high. Surprised there is no mention of Menelsohn's character Talos, in all forms, as I've read in other reviews that he is a shining element of the film. And I think I've already assessed the change that you assess will be potentially detracting, which I feel aligns to Benning's character...To be clear, I wont be watching this film in theaters thanks to Brie Larsons social commentary. And that's disappointing, because the original trailer had me on the hook. So for those thinking such responses are drummed up, or left to the realm of internet trolls...at least for me and several friends I know, its not. & I think that Benning character related change, if it is the same one Jay identifies, is probably an exacerbation of the new direction of the MCU that is in line with my and others' reasons for not watching in theaters. I fret for things post-Endgame...I think April represents a zenith for this wonderful MCU ride, and I regret it, because it's all gonna fall apart before I get to see a proper A v X blockbuster!
  7. Frankly, the Marvel Legends versions appeal to me more, so I am not miffed these aren't more widely available. The ML versions seem just as good or better than these in terms of sculpt, and have outstanding alternate unmasked heads with the face-real scanning tech to boot.
  8. I am in for the following, at minimum: Family Matters 3 Pack (top want since the teases at SDCC last year) Avengers wave w/ any Thanos Armored BAF Beast, Jubilee and Weapon X out of the already revealed X-Men wave. Loki and Corvus Glaive 2 pack. Ebony Maw (if not in Wave above) Ragnarok 2-pack w/ Skurge and Hela Chain Mail Cap Mystique and Emma exclusives (though I concur w/ the lack of endowments on Emma being a significant detraction and piece of revisionist history) Probably the IW Iron Man Possibly: Night Crawler, Cap and Peggy WWII-Pack, and Ghost & Luis 2-Pack. Thats not too much, right? I may soon join BludChylde with a "soon to be ex wife". Thanks Hasbro, for killin it...and my wallet!
  9. I am sooo in for Mystique, presuming I can find her at a Walgreens before she evaporates. However, I am really impressed with the Lilandra head on the Silver Sable body. I had seen some postulation previously that such a pairing would be workable, but pictures do those typewritten missives wonders indeed. I may be in for a Sable now as a result, even if it is imperfect to her comics depiction. I tend to agree we will see a body down the line, but that may be 2 years from now. Hasbro is nailing Marvel Legends and Tranformers these days...too bad they and Disney jumped the shark for Star Wars, else this would be a new golden age, given what NECA is doing also.
  10. Except that...you know, its fiction!? It's not history )!...and it shouldn't be celebrated or potentially confused for such at a time when the real contributions of African Americans such as George Washington Carver, the Tuskeegee Airmen, Chuck Berry, Thurgood Marshall and REAL African American heroes ought to be remembered and cherished for their REAL contributions to our common national struggle.
  11. Beautifully captured, and one of my own personal favorite character interactions to recreate. It's appeared in so many comics and on film now as to be truly iconic, and you capture it superbly Rakanishu!
  12. Reads like music to me! I and my wife thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Strange in the 1st round, it was great story and visually innovative with its cinemotography and magic sequences. Really excited to see how they expand the character, the power of sorcery, and hopefully explore the pending dissonance with Karl Mordo.
  13. Sweet giveaway yet again Marvelousnews! Thank you for continuing to do these, it's a great gesture and is hopefully building the community.
  14. This trailer was perfect. It was character focused, vice event focused. It kept things grim until the very end with Scott (the comedic and unseemly ray of hope), and that's the way it should be, so that we are left as an audience properly where we should be when we retake our seats for the back half of this epic two parter. I like many, am interested by why Nebula and Tony end up separated. Did she try another route, and abandon Tony in his sleep (I think that's whose shoulder she touches with regret and/or guilt as she departs to try to find her own way to finally kill Thanos)? I also think Cap looking with despair at the compass pendant of Peggy may indicate that Sharon Carter was lost in the snap (or decimation). And what was that winged thing flying through space? It did not appear to me to be the Guardians' ship...seemed to have a slimmer profile. Is that a person with wings? As another poster said, that scarecrow Thanos, direct from the comics, was a beautiful homage and piece of symbolism for an abandonment of old ways. Very excited to see the band all come back together and realize Dr. Strange's vision! 5-ish months to go guys and gals!
  15. I have been eagerly anticipating this Magik exclusive, since reading Battle of the Atom this summer, my first exposure to her as a character. I have considered this a must purchase, but I have concerns on accessibility. In my region's Walgreens I have seen no surfers or Things, though I have picked up a Thing via business travels. I certainly hope Magik is a different story regionally (as I do Mystique when she finally starts rolling out).
