This doesn't look bad at first glimpse. Looks like it could be the 1.12 scale Venom figure to get, mainly judging by the accessories that SHF figures usually have. The ML one is great but it lacks the accessories part. If you mainly collect legends though, the scale won't work perfectly but at least it's a bigger guy overall, so it could work. What would really be interesting to me is a carnage figure, cause I don't know if Hasbro is gonna give it to us.

Same thoughts, I really liked Carnage’s design in the movie. I hope someone somewhere will give it to us.

  2. No wonder Moon Knight won’t come with a BAF piece, that figure is gonna sell. Mr Knight on the other hand, I like it, but man… I understand wave budgeting and all that, but that figure is really getting the shortest baton. I’m holding out on that one for a bit longer until I see the rest of the wave and decide if I’m building the BaF or not.

I would say Tobey and Garfield will almost def be new figures, not repaints of older figures. And when I say new I don't necessarily mean completely new sculpts. They may reuse parts from older figures but they aren't just gonna take straight up old ones and reissue them. The more interesting question is will they give us photo real unmasked headsculpts for the two.

I think all 3 unmasked sculpts are a given. I mean, that’s the selling point, right? Right? Oh, Hasbro, please don’t make me doubt you on this.

  4. Looks like I'm in the minority again, I'm really liking this wave!!! So far, my musts are only Portman Thor and Gorr since they're characters I don't have in my collection. But King Valkyrie looks great, and Groot with that new face and branch accessories is looking tempting. Star Lord, Thunderstrike and Thor look good but I'm not sure, maybe if I have the dough when the wave is announced for preorder. Korg, as much as I love the character, isn't selling me the wave, I already have one and I kinda prefer the gladiator look over this viking outfitting.

The one thing that I'm loving is the soft good capes!!! I wonder if they'll have poseable wires.

Theoretically, since this figure is going to be all white, it should be possible to swap his arms at the bicep swivel with those of either MCU Klaw or comic JJJ for the rolled sleeve look. That being said, it would be nice to get swappable arms with this one, though I doubt they'll do that. Likely we'll just get his batons and maybe an unmasked head

Theoretically, yeah, but since those arm’s aren’t white (and I don’t have JJJ and only one Klaw) it wouldn’t be accurate without a custom and therefore definitive work. alt arms would be a selling point for me, as it stands, I’m not sure the BAF would be enough to compel me to buy a second MK when I’m trying to cut back.

He looked weak, frail and completely out of place as a martial artist, let alone have any resemblance to the comic book Iron Fist. The guy looked as if he never set foot in a gym in his life. Most of his fight scenes were as bad- totally unconvincing. People didn't just "decide" out of the blue to revile his performance. He really was that bad.  Jessica Henwick, on the other hand, brought the heat.

Agree completely on Henwick. I know it’s because I’m not familiar or attached to Iron Fist in the comics (or at all, I used him next to never in the Ultimate Alliance games), and I understand the dislike for his performance, but I still blame the production and writing more than him. I really liked the Coulter/Jones dynamic on the one Luke Cage episode they were together, and IMHO that was the best we got out of both of them.
