Honestly, I'd like to see an updated Green Goblin mold as well. Pinless limbs, butterfly joints, the diaphragm/reverse ab crunch combo. I've always pictured Goblin as being almost as nimble as Spidey. Plus then they could update Hobgoblin and hopefully take the chance to give us a Grey Goblin as well.

They're going to have to be pretty creative making Kingpin a Spider-Man villain in the MCU. He was just a really buff but pretty normal guy in the Netflix show, a bit more superhuman in Hawkeye but still no match for Spider-Man physically. Definitely going to have to lean into Fisk's political side a lot.

That Iron Man is so sick. Something about the combination of the black and gold and the runes just does it for me. Can’t wait to add him to the armory.

To do him right they'd have to resculpt the upper torso since his spider logo was different on the symbiote suit. I hope they do that version eventually though.

This is my favorite MCU Iron Man armor and this figure looks incredible but I just can't justify the almost $200 price tag. I really want Hasbro to remake the MK 50, at this point theirs is the only one that looks like utter garbage and with the new engineering and stuff they can use now, they could do an incredible deluxe MK 50 with a bunch of accessories like the Mafex. Maybe someday that'll become a reality...

Yeah, the Avengers wave was extremely fairly priced, even compared to last years anniversary wave. I definitely see them tweaking the Doc Ock and Green Goblin figures to their Raimi looks. Doc Ock really just needs a new upper torso but Goblin would need a whole new sculpt, reusing the glider and mask. There's way too much sculpted detail on this version to allow them to just straight up reuse it. They may have some stage of the digital model that is the clean version though, before they added the extra details.

Yeah, they teased one of the bottom Doc Ock tentacles at SDCC. I thought it looked different but looking at it now it's actually exactly what we got here. It looks like they sculpted in the little nanotech segments on the tentacles but didn't paint them, I assume for a more neutral look. Some gold paint would have gone a long way honestly. I heard that these will both be $50, it makes sense for Goblin since he's basically a Riders figure like Hawkeye, but Ock really shouldn't be that high. I'd say $40 for him would be good but I guess they have to upcharge for the tentacle engineering. Anyway, buying both him and Goblin at $50 is still less than the SHF Goblin and the Hasbro one looks better so I can't really complain.

Spider-Punk was in the wave from earlier this year. They'll probably rerelease him with an unmasked head for BTSV though. I figure the next wave will have unmasked Punk, India, Peter in his pink robe with Mayday, Prowler Miles, Byte and the dark Spot.

Doc Ock is wearing the turtleneck which is his NWH look. I have no idea why they branded it under Spider-Man 2. That and Andrew’s ASM2 package give me hope for Sony anniversary releases though.

OH MY GOD THAT NWH WAVE. I’m disappointed there’s no BAF and no Lizard or Electro but the rest of the figures are so goddamn good that at the moment I don’t even care. FINALLY THEY GAVE TOM THE PROPER ARTICULATION. MJ and Matt both look surprisingly good, so glad Matt got the brick hand. Sandman looks hilarious but accurate, idk why but I just realized he’s basically a Ken doll in the movie. Green Goblin and Doc Ock look excellent as well and I’m very happy to see that they actually did the unmasked heads for Tobey and Andrew, I guess this basically confirms no one has the rights to Andrew’s likeness rights from NWH so they have to use ASM2. It’s not 100% accurate but close enough for me.

I hate how they always spend a while on the Haslab at the beginning of these streams after it already got it’s own entire dedicated stream…

Oh that's interesting. I guess since they basically did Raimi Goblin and Doc Ock, they want to complete the trilogy. I assume it'll be revamps of black suit Spidey and New Goblin, then new figures for Sandman and Venom. I'm still holding out hope we get a Sony Spider-Man anniversary line from Hasbro next year too.

I think the Netflix Defenders set rivals it but that's just as a movie/show collector primarily. I miss when con exclusives used to be multi-packs, now we're lucky to get even 3 figures in a set for a con.

I'm guessing those will be 2024 stuff. I think they usually cover stuff for the next year.

There's been talk of another Avengers wave and some X-Men stuff I think for next year but from Rektangular's list for 2023, the NWH wave is the last thing to be revealed.

God I hope this is when we see the NWH wave revealed. That's the last thing on the list for this year that hasn't been revealed and they teased it at the last con so it has to be NWH right? Other than that, we'll probably get something for next year, maybe that Avengers wave that maybe consists of those figures they had out at the last one.

I actually think the RYV body is perfectly fine for DD. I've always pictured DD as more slim and the RYV body is perfect for that. If anything, it's too big for Spidey, he should always use AF or some sort of redone version of the Pizza mold.

They might if it's the Raimi suit. I'm still hoping that last figure is either that or Electro.

As someone who's been dying for NWH figures since the movie came out, I'm very happy with Goblin. Hopefully the wave doesn't disappoint and Ock is still coming as a deluxe.

The leaked list for the Infinity Saga wave had Fury appearing but then the actual wave ended up with Banner (or War Machine). I could see this wave including Electro instead of Goblin and then a Lizard BAF. That would be by far the best way they could go. Watch them fool us all and give us Magic Ned instead lol.

Doc Ock was supposed to be a deluxe release with his tentacles, per the leaked listings, but they never mentioned anything about a deluxe Goblin, in fact they had him releasing in the wave. So I'm not sure if Doc Ock is still coming as a deluxe now or if he got swapped for Goblin in the wave. Either way, the glider being in a deluxe set means if there is a BAF in the wave, there's a good chance it's Lizard. My personal hope is that we get both Ock and Goblin as deluxes, then the wave has either the Raimi Goblin or Electro.

Yeah, that's pretty much where I am with comic figures. Unless it's Spider-Man related or an Iron Man armor, no matter how good the figure looks, I'm passing.

This figure is everything I ever wanted from a NWH Goblin. That brand new glider, the head, the mask, even the pumpkin bomb. Utter perfection. Like @JohnF said, a couple extra hands are always nice but the hands they gave him are perfectly fine, he's always going to be holding that bomb in my display. I hope we get a full Raimi suit too though. Maybe he's the Goblin from the leaked wave and then I'd have to buy 2 of this guy to get 2 gliders.

I preordered both. Not sure if I'll keep them but I wanted to secure one in case I decided I wanted one later on and they went out of stock. I wish MK was on the RYV body though. Spidey I'll probably keep carded since I have the one from last year open.

Honestly, this is the perfect kind of con exclusive. Very niche and unique but cool for anyone who wanted it. They should never make popular or necessary characters exclusives like this, unless it's a rerelease of an existing character with some fun twists like the Deadpool set. Honestly Hasbro has been knocking it out of the park this year, except for a couple missteps like choosing to rerelease concept art Spidey.
