Not necessarily. Out of the comic stuff, only Madame Web and possibly Overdrive would need new molds, everything else is a straight up repaint with new heads and accessories. My assumption with the movie stuff is that we’d get a Tobey Spider-Man figure in the NWH wave 2, so they could just repaint/repack him in the anniversary wave to balance out the new sculpts of the villains. New Goblin would use a combination of Luke Cage and movie Logan parts, and likely Sandman too.

That's not usually how anniversary lines are divided up, though I suppose anything's possible. We're almost certainly getting another wave for NWH, but I doubt that'll be included in the 60th anniversary lineup, especially since it'll probably hit in early spring instead of late summer when anniversary stuff usually hits. Here's my wishlist: 1. Classic Spidey (Retro body with lighter blue, maybe a new head, some web accessories, hands, etc.) 2. Superior Spidey and Overdrive 2-PK 3. Deluxe Madame Web with some version of her chair 4. Riot, Agony and Omega Red body Venom 3-PK 5. Carrion and classic Carnage 2-PK 6. Retro deluxe Rhino 7. Retro deluxe Lizard 8. Retro Scorpion (lighter green paint with flesh colored chin) 9. Raimi Spider-Man and Green Goblin 2-PK (Repack of Tobey from NWH wave 2, brand new GG mold) 10. Raimi Symbiote Spidey and Sandman (Repaint of Tobey, retool of Retro Sandman maybe) 11. Raimi Venom 12. Raimi New Goblin 13. Raimi deluxe Doc Ock

If we don't see comic Iron Spider by the end of next year, it'll be an enormous missed opportunity. I could see a Madame Web and Stegron being released as deluxes, probably also Retro card releases of Rhino and Lizard. I also really hope we see some teams completed. Overdrive for the Superior Foes, Carrion for Maximum Carnage, Riot and Agony for the Life Foundation. Also maybe some more Inheritors, Karn and Solus at least would be nice.

13 Spider-Man anniversary releases next year??? HELL YES!! I would imagine if they end up doing any Raimi figures, those will probably also fall under that 60th line, which may be why there's so many, I think anniversary stuff usually gets 10 or so releases, though that might just be for the MCU anniversaries. Either way, very exciting news.

Ok, I'll concede that you never said they intentionally messed up her face. But you're missing my point. If Hasbro were against "oversexualizing" figures, they wouldn't have made Jolie's figure look the way it does. I don't know what all goes into making new molds like this, but it's way more likely that somewhere in the conceptualism of the design, her proportions got off and it just never got changed before the figure got made.

The rest make sense, but 4 still feels like an excuse. Every superhero since Black Widow has had made more than the last, Shang-Chi had the biggest Labor Day opening ever and Venom did really well. I’m pretty sure by the time Eternals and especially No Way Home comes out, we should be more or less back to regular box office revenue. I guess it’s not too long to wait, otherwise the toys would get all screwy again like with Eternals and Shang-Chi. We know we’re getting Ms. Marvel early next year and possible another show, so they might just shuffle thing around and push the Doctor Strange wave back to April and have the 3rd D+ wave and the inevitable NWH wave 2 come out before it.

This looks great. I’ve been wanting this version of Spidey for a while, hopefully Hasbro gets around to him soon. -
I don't believe for a second that Hasbro screwing the pooch on any aspect of this figure was intentional. She probably has one of those faces like Mark Hamill and Chris Evans that just doesn't translate well to face printing for whatever reason. And saying her body was intentionally toned down doesn't hold any water when you see that Angelina Jolie's figure has the right proportions and she certainly isn't small-chested.

Hasbro Pulse-Con 2021 Date Set For October 22 And 23

Hmm, I wonder how much they'll show. We know of a few waves on tap for next year, TB 20th anniversary reveals are a no-brainer, also that rumored X-Men wave, Avengers wave and maybe even the Doctor Strange wave might have figures shown, but I'm guessing not much MCU stuff will be shown unless it's some exclusive or something. -
I do want Kitty in this look, but seeing it close-up like this makes me realize just how lazy it is. She should have boot cuffs, a more detailed and bigger bandanan and no bangs at the very least. I get that easy repaints are sort of the point of MU, but it does give me hope that eventually this look will get a proper figure, hopefully along with her pirate look.

Lol, it’s the Doctor Strange movie wave, there’s going to be at least 4 movie figures in it. I agree with all of those, but Runes is more likely Mordo, I would assume he’s in the wave too. Probably Sleepwalker and Nightmare would be the only comic figures. It would be awesome if the BAF was Rintrah, I’d love me a big green Minotaur.

That's a hard bullet to bite, especially since BBTS charges $2 more per Legend. Still better than the $80+ the 80th Cap is going for now, I suppose. Definitely sticking to just him and Toad now though, Toad I may even see about holding off on for a Retro card release or something, I have to imagine they'll put him out again at some point.
