Oh hell yeah, hopefully that means we can order this wave soon. I've been waiting for these for so long. Definitely excited about Friday, they have to have some good stuff if they're already considering the D+ wave something we know about. I'm betting on seeing the Knights wave, X-Men 97 wave, Haslab and a few other things, maybe some more VHS 2-packs. I wouldn't be surprised if they save the NWH wave and Infinity Saga wave until Pulsecon given I think they were both slated for December.

Are we expecting any reveals before Friday?

I think this is the first time at least one Walmart exclusive didn't sell out. I didn't get anything, I may grab that Morbius set if it goes on super clearance just for that diaphragm joint, but if not, I don't care much.

This is it. Peak Hot Toys. They never need to release another figure now. All joking aside, I really didn't mind Quantumania MODOK. He was always a ridiculous villain in the comics and shows, and this fit that. I think the movie could have treated him a but more sympathetically, he was treated as a joke by the characters despite his horrific ordeal, when I feel like it should have been more emotional and heavy at the end. His design was good though, having the comic style stretched face would have been a cgi nightmare, so having him just look like Darren was the better choice. And the mask was genuinely creepy and awesome.

The best wave so far this year for the most part, just god, those two What If figures really kill it for me. If you're gonna give us a partially repainted figure, why not do Yellow Daredevil instead of this random What If character we haven't even seen yet? If you're gonna create a brand new Hydra Stomper no one cares about, why not put that effort into retooling the Gamerverse Abomination into the MCU version? Those choices would have sold this wave for so many more people. That could have been one of the best waves of all time, but nope, they had to shoot themselves in the foot with their What If obsession. Couldn't even give us Thor or Widow to complete the team if for some reason What If figures are a requirement.

Morbius is the exact same figure from before, literally nothing is different except maybe some face printing. Spider-Man has a new diaphragm joint that looks like it probably won’t move any more than the static joint from the first figure, plus he’s still on an outdated movie mold. They could have at least used a comic mold this time and given him a new torso. Morbius could have been on Sunfire or Vulcan to make it feel at least a little new but he’s not. Was there a single person who was asking for this set? Like I said, I’d have taken either one of them on a retro card, but this is a waste of a 2-pack. I think the six arm story collided with the Morbius story in TAS but neither one of these is the animated version.

Oh. Well. At least he has torso articulation this time? I feel zero need for this set though. We couldn’t have gotten like… a retro carded Morbius instead? I’d have gotten that for sure.

Good lord that suit is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see it in action and eventually in figure form. If there’s one thing the MCU does well it’s suits.

They’ve been doing animated lines for a while now. We got ITSV in 2020, 90’s X-Men last year and ATSV and 90’s Spider-Man this year. There was a 6 inch wave of X-Men 97 leaked to be coming this year too. Personally I don’t mind it if it opens the doors for us to get Spectacular Spider-Man figures someday.

I like that there's usually something on the third week of July every year, some sort of con usually falls around then. Makes me feel like Hasbro is giving me a little birthday present lol.

Hopefully it's something MCU related. Or maybe Spider-Man, they do love their retro cards.

Well, last time they went a long time without releasing or anything, 2020, we got the Fox X-Men wave. Hopefully if we go a while without any new stuff, they'll consider maybe doing some Sony Spider-Man stuff, 2024 is the anniversary of Spider-Man 2 and ASM2. I'd like to see a movie anniversary recognition next year since the past 2 years have been comic. And I really hope they play catch-up with some past MCU stuff in the next couple years. We have literally no single thing from Iron Man 2, but even more recently we need High Evolutionary, MODOK, Razor Fist, Zeus, Sinister Strange, the Illuminati, countless D+ characters, etc.

It's going to be disappointing getting no MCU news this year. Hopefully they do something on their own to make some announcements because it's been really dry for a long time. I'm also getting really sick of them constantly shifting schedules around. I know it's not really their fault cause pandemic and now strikes, but it's hard to be excited for a movie 4 years away that keeps getting bumped back. I'm guessing the Legends panel will be Saturday like usual. I'm going to assume they'll finish off the reveals for this year. X-Men 97, NWH, D+, Infinity Saga and Knights all seem to be on the table. 4.5 waves seem like a lot so many it won't be all of them but we'll see. I also hope they reveal an exclusive or 2 soon.

Not surprised to see them popping up now, I imagine EE will get them soon too. Hopefully they don't just ship out full cases cause I only preordered the MCU figures. I expect the Ant-Man wave to show up more soon as well.

Rektangular leaked the Knights wave? Where? I agree with everything you mentioned though, I'd say the reveals and preorders for most if those remaining waves will go up, maybe not NWH since that was slated for December though.

Again, I think this is just an angle issue. The figure is posed weird and the shadows are really harsh. It looks enough like her here in this state that I think in hand it’ll be a perfectly good likeness.

I'm almost considering picking this up for parts. I'm trying to build a custom Toxin on the Vulcan body and Nighthawk FINALLY gives us some all black lower legs and arms for that mold. Now I have to decide do I want to pick up Vulcan, Corsair, Black Panther and Nighthawk to minimize the amount of painting I have to do or do I just wait until Hasbro someday gives us a Mulligan Toxin. Choices choices choices. Also was there supposed to be another Target exclusive this week? This Thursday is the last one of June.

That's definitely my boat lol. This is the best wave we've gotten in a long time. It would be perfect if not for the stupid BAF choice. I have yet to see Goliath but at least he's a unique character. Also I'm not sure if I'm in the minority here but soft goods on 1/12 figures aren't usually a good idea. With simple capes and robes they can work with a wire in them but for the intricate robes on Agatha and a lot of other characters, at best they would lack the detail that sculpted plastic gives and at worst they'd be super bulky looking and wouldn't sit right. Some Mezcos look fine but Hasbro can't even do cloth robes right with their Black Series so I would never in a million years trust them to do Agatha's robes cloth.

That Agatha figure is a work of art oh my god. She’s going to look unbelievable with those black and purple tamashii effects.

That removable beanie makes me very happy. I wanted another Fury to stick his bearded head on the suited body for a Marvels look. He looks to be the Zemo torso maybe? Talos looks fantastic, that interchangeable neck is awesome. This entire wave is so good oh my god. Literally the only duds are the BAF and potentially the Goliath figure. Not sure how that one will turn out, interesting how it’s the most mysterious one and yet no one has shown it off. Curious when the rest will be revealed.

I still prefer the Homecoming suit and FFH suit but this one is good too. Probably my 3rd favorite MCU suit. I kind of hope they remove the shininess for the 4th movie, for some reason that just doesn't work well for me, though I can see they were kind of going for a Spider-Armor MK 4 vibe with it.

Recently, I can't actually recall having an issue getting the Legends exclusives. Granted it's been a while since there WERE legends exclusives but still. Anyway, I've heard rumors about a Shuma Gorath floating around, so maybe this is where it pops up? Also maybe a MCU thing this year? I think the last one was the Logan set from 2020?

Yeah, doesn’t affect me at all. If there’s something I want I’ll just order it like usual, hopefully premium gives me a little edge.
