Katy, oh it's Awkwafina Marvel Legend, it's pretty damn boring looking to me, a target exclusive you say! , ah good luck with that one target, looks like that's going to be a tough sell. Hasbro "Hey big box stores it's time to pick your exclusive" , Target : "but what all we got is this bottle of water girl?" Hasbro "yeah don't worry remember how well red hulk worked out for you, she's red too" "

Ah ha here we go, I called this, nobody wanted to believe me, I said watch since these Shang Chi figs are Street dated for the 25th I bet we are seeing a trailer just before that, and here it is. I'm on the fence about this one, I think I need to watch it a few more times, but first watch I wasn't really captivated, it felt a bit lackluster to me, I think I kinda cringed a bit at the whole crouching tiger hidden dragon looking segments and the scenes that looked like they were from that awful Matt damon movie about monsters at the great wall of china. I usually don't go crazy first go round of a trailer, so it may take some time to work me and impress me, but of course I'm excited to see it.

Yeah I just felt like she is a pretty new created character but she in my mind seems most like Sister Dagger aka Esme, although not exactly, but she looks like her based on design and some of the story elements, but I mean she probably has a bit of Fo Lo Suee elements as well.. I mean shes a hybrid in a way
-
Yup same idea here for me (I'm going to say it's Sister Dagger...that's who she is right in essence?). I like this figure though she looks really good, and she will have a good shelf presence amongst my women of marvel collection, the face sculpt is really well done, the texture on her costume is really neat. I'm a fan of this figure.

Yeah I as really surprised when she showed up played by Julia, this show alone has really given us so many new MCU characters, it's going to be fun to see how they start interacting with other heroes/villains in the sandbox that is the MCU in the future. Yeah she didn't have a white piece in her hair, but she had blue in it. I don't know if that was a funny nod to how they shaded the black in comics or it was a play on the whole other color streak in her hair. Clearly she is going to play a role in what comes next for Walker.

Aw man thats a rough go, I never saw that Wave in a store, but mind you at the time I wasn't really buying Legends, and had long been on the Select train I however have for the longest time just gone with the Old Iron Man toybiz foom figure as my foom, I still love the way it looks despite being undersized and kinda goofy.

It looks pretty nice, but that lends itself to being a re-paint of the already awesome Hydra Supreme mold, I actually always liked the Hydra Supreme colors and the idea of the character over this one, I even used to play Contest of Champions. I also still play the contest of champions Board game, but this figure doesn't do it for me I shall happily save my money, it does look good though.

Ghost Rider Retro wave wishlist
Lord_Scareglow replied to tarot's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I wish that they would do this, I've been asking for a damn Ghost Rider Wave since forever Tarot had a great list but I'd swap a few (I would love this wave so much) Dan Ketch Ghost Rider Vengeance Blackheart Mephisto Lilith Zarathos Honorable Mentions : Ghost Rider (Alejandra) , Black Rose, Death Watch, Death Ninja, Scarecrow, Blackout, Outcast, Caretaker, Caretaker (Sara), Yes I would love love Orb!, Paradox and Jen but I think they are long shots. I also think it's not crazy to think that characters like Warewolf by Night, some more monsters like Dracula etc or a new Blade (but maybe save Blade for his own wave) -
Idea: Doctor Strange Deluxe
Lord_Scareglow replied to Dabboi's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I honestly don't care at this point how we get a Classic Dr. Strange, I just want one, I don't care about all kinds of neato special accessories, or soft goods, but I'll take them if I have to, I just want that figure, I have been hoping for the day we saw it, a big glaring hole in my ML collection is Strange, I only have the MCU Astral version, because I didn't want a black costume version or a movie version (I settled for astral because it can work enough as comic, you can't tell the details), so I've been waiting. It was the same with Comic War machine, I was so desperate for it I didn't care if it was a deluxe despite me not wanting a deluxe. -
Yeah this wave is still super Meh to me (the movie isn't likely even to change that), no interest except for Death Dealer and Xialing, which I will get, I'm fairly sure this will be the only Death dealer we ever have in figure form so he will just be a comic stand in, and I like Xialing she has a good face and shes a new chick. so any one want to build steroid leprechaun, once I get dealer and xia those BAF pieces will be on the trading block.

Marvel Legends Sightings and Hauls thread
Lord_Scareglow replied to aaozz9's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Ha yeah I remember commenting when you said you grabbed him. I really do like the figure, looks really good, super underrated, and I don't actually think they will or could do better (in terms of classic Shostokov/Petkus look) I could see one day maybe them giving us a Anton/Nikolai RG at some point, but eh I'm good with this one..would love if one day we could see Tania. -

I know not so interesting, but I finally got Comic Red Guardian for less then retail! woo hoo, been looking forever for a decent price, I made the stupid mistake of passing him up when he first came out, I regretted that. -
Fantastic Four-related HasLab Speculation

Too bad the sentinels were not more like little A.I. you could have them babysit, and they'd be so justified, wifey might even say "well you should have bought more" -
Your biggest gripe with Legends?
Lord_Scareglow replied to Dabboi's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I had not thought about how much I hate this trend in Legends! what the blazing hell is the reason behind this blunder!, why are they not sculpted or glued on, it's such a clear as day nod to somebody making a decision on behalf of laziness. I can't stand staring at figures who's stupid cuff/boot strap has slipped down, I know if I touch that figure to fix it even more awfulness is going to occur. -
I wonder if since these are set for 4/25 as the street date, that maybe on like friday the 23rd an official trailer will drop for this movie? seems likely.

More like how is your post pregancy wife going to feel when you come hobbling into the house with 5 giant boxes that look like you could pack 3 children into them, and then you making the oooh ahhh face, and she realizes it's over a small army of giant purple robots and not the baby 😉 good luck soldier. -
I agree, and I'm not one for the whole idea of an artist series, but Joe Mad and Bachalo really made AOA special, probably one of the reasons why I was so in on it, I bought probably ever 1st issue of all the AOA spin off books , Bachalo is one of my fav comic artists, his work on Generation X was something to behold IMO, I'm with the Gen X being one of my favorite series, not many artists really have that magic that his art gave those books, Joe Mad up there as well..and Mark Bagley and Larsen on Spider-Man of also was one of my favorite things, those are the looks I like to see those characters drawn, I guess it's obvious I loved 90's comic art.
